Intended use

This appliance is intended solely for the care and maintenance of
fingernails, toenails and feet. It is intended for domestic use only.
The mains adapter is intended for indoor use only.

It is not intended for any other use or use beyond that specified.

Safety

In this section, you will find important safety instruc­tions for using the appliance. Improper use may
result in personal injury and material damage.

Basic safety guidelines

To ensure safe operation of the appliance, follow
the safety guidelines set out below

WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!

■ Prior to use, check the appliance for visible ex-

ternal damage. Do not operate a appliance that
has been damaged or dropped.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged

8 years and above and by persons with limited
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, provided that they

are under supervision or have been told how to
use the appliance safely and are aware of the
potential risks. Children must not use the appli­ance as a plaything. Cleaning and user mainte­nance tasks may not be carried out by children
unless they are supervised.

■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised

specialist companies or by the Customer Service
department. Improper repairs can pose signifi­cant risks to the user. The warranty claim will also
be invalidated.

■ Extended use may cause extreme warming of the

skin. Therefore, take frequent breaks. Otherwise,
there is a risk of burns!

■ Do not use the appliance while bathing or show-

ering.

■ Never touch the appliance with wet or moist hands.

■ Always operate the appliance with the supplied

power adapter.

■ To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/

or power cables replaced immediately by a
qualified specialist technician or our Customer
Service department.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE

■ Defective components must always be replaced

with original replacement parts. Compliance with
safety requirements can only be guaranteed if
original replacement parts are used.

■ Protect the appliance from penetration by mois-

ture and liquids.

■ Protect the appliance against knocks, dampness,

dust, chemicals, extremes of temperature, etc.
and keep it away from sources of heat (ovens,
radiators).

■ Never use the appliance under blankets, pillows,

etc.

■ Do not store the appliance where it could fall

into a bath tub or wash basin.

■ NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other

liquids!

■ Always remove the mains adapter from the mains

outlet; never pull on the power cable.

■ Ensure that the drive can always rotate freely.

Otherwise, the appliance may overheat and be
damaged beyond repair.

■ The mains adapter is intended for indoor use only.

■ To disconnect the power supply to the appliance,

pull the mains adapter from the socket outlet.

■ The mains power socket that is used must be eas-

ily accessible so that the mains adapter can be
quickly removed from the mains power socket in
the event of an emergency.

■ In the event of a malfunction (unusual noises or

smoke) or during thunderstorms, disconnect the
mains adapter from the power socket.

■ Never try to open the housing of the mains

adapter – there is a risk of electrocution.

■ To avoid damage caused by unwanted warming,

do not cover the mains power adapter.

■ Repairs to the appliance during the warranty

period may only be carried out by a customer
service department authorised by the manufac­turer. Otherwise no additional warranty claims
can be considered for subsequent damage.

Use of the appliance

■ Sapphire cone 10:

For removing dry skin, hardened skin or calluses on the soles and
heels.

♦ Guide the sapphire cone

to be treated using a circular motion while exerting gentle pres­sure. Do not press too firmly, and always guide the appliance
carefully to the surface to be treated. Apply a moisturising
cream after every treatment.

Excessively long or intensive treatment can also
injure deeper layers of skin.

► Therefore, check the treatment progress and results regularly.

Diabetics in particular are less sensitive on their hands and
feet.

NOTE

► The attachments do not have as much effect on softened

skin. Therefore, do not carry out any pretreatment in a water
bath before using the appliance.

one location. Friction leads to increased heat generation and
may cause injuries.

agents. These can damage the surface of the appliance.

cloth. Ensure that no water or moisture can penetrate the
appliance. Dry everything thoroughly.

♦ For hygienic reasons, we recommend cleaning the attachments

with a clean cloth or brush moistened with alcohol after every
use. Dry everything thoroughly.

Storage

♦ After you have cleaned the appliance, put it back in the storage

Disposal

Disposal of the appliance

Under no circumstances should you dispose
of the appliance in normal household waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of
the European WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment) Directive 2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company
or your municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable
regulations. Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in
any doubt.

Disposal of packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during shipment.
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental
friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the materials cycle
conserves raw materials and reduces the amount
of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging
materials which are no longer needed in accord­ance with applicable local regulations.

NOTE

► If possible, keep the original packaging of the appliance

during the warranty period so that the appliance can be
packed properly for returning in the event of a warranty
claim.

Notes on the Declaration of Conformity

This appliance complies with the essential requirements
and other relevant provisions of the European Electro­magnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC, the
Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and the RoHS
Directive 2011/65/EU.
The entire Declaration of Conformity, in its original form,
is available from the importer.

Warranty

You are provided a 3-year warranty on this appliance, valid from the
date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a
warranty claim, please contact your Customer Service unit by tele­phone. This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.

NOTE

► The warranty only covers claims for material and manufac-

turing defects, not for transport damage, worn parts or
damage to fragile components such as buttons or batteries.

This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for com­mercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in the case of
misuse or improper handling, use of force and interventions which
have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty. The warranty
period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This
also applies to replaced and repaired components.

Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be
reported immediately after unpacking, but no later than two days
after the date of purchase.

Repairs effected after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject
to charge.
