Introduction
Please familiarise yourself with the heating pad before getting started and using it
for the first time. Please read the following operating instructions and the important safety instructions carefully. Use the heating pad only as described and for the stated areas of use. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the heating pad on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation.
Do not dry the heating pad in a tumbler dryer.
Do not iron the heating pad.
Do not dry clean.
Dispose of the packaging and the heating pad in an environmentally friendly way!
Intended Use
This heating pad is intended for applying heat to the human body. It can be used to apply heat to spe­cific areas. This heating pad is not suitable for use in hospitals or for any other commercial use. In par­ticular it must not be used for babies or infants, per­sons who are insensitive to heat, helpless persons, or animals. Any use other than that described above or modification of the heating pad are not permissible and may lead to injury and / or damage to the heating pad. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage caused by improper use.

RISK OF FATAL
Do not use the mains power cable
for purposes for which it was not
intended, e.g. for hanging up the electric heating pad, carrying it or to pull the plug out of the mains socket. Keep the mains power cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges. If the mains power cable is damaged or severed, do not touch the mains power cable, but pull the mains plug out of the mains socket immediately. Damaged or tangled mains power cables increase the risk of electric shock.

Do not stick needles or sharp objects
into the heating pad. There is a risk of electric shock.

heating pad may under certain circumstances interfere with the operation of cardiac pace­makers. However, the levels are far below the permissible limits: details of these levels can be found in the “Technical data” chapter.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK AND INJURY! Inspect the heating
pad carefully before every use to check for signs of wear and / or damage. Do not use the heating pad if you discover wear or damage or if it has been subject to improper use. In this case, send it back to the dealer or his service centre before using it again. Risk of injury!
Children or anyone lacking the knowledge or
experience to use the heating pad, or anyone with restricted physical, sensory or mental ca­pacities, must not use the heating pad without supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heating pad. Risk of injury!
RISK OF INJURY FROM BURNS! Do not use this heating pad for help-
less persons, infants or persons who are insensitive to heat (e.g. diabetics, people with disease-related changes to the skin or scarred skin in the area of use, or after taking pain-relieving medication or consuming alcohol). There is a risk of receiving skin burns.

RISK OF INJURY FROM BURNS! This heating pad must not be used by children unless the control

has been preset by a parent or other responsible person, or unless the child has been instructed sufficiently in how to use this heating pad safely. There is a risk of receiving skin burns.
CAUTION! Take care that you do
not fall asleep while the heating pad is in operation. Excessively long use
can cause skin burns.
Do not use the heating pad on any part of the
body that is inflamed, injured or swollen. Seek medical advice before using the heating pad if in doubt. Such inflammation, injuries and / or swelling may otherwise worsen.
Repairs must only be carried out by specially
trained personnel or at a repair shop authorised by the manufacturer, since special tools are necessary. Improper repairs may result in considerable dangers for the user.
If the power supply cord of this appliance
is damaged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, a repair shop approved by the manufacture or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid any danger.
Avoid damage to the
heating pad!
Please ensure that you:
· only connect the heating pad to the voltage indicated on the heating pad (label),
· only use the heating pad in conjunction with the control

· do not operate the heating pad without supervision,

do not switch the heating pad on if it is folded or bunched up,
· do not cause any sharp creases in the heating pad,
· do not place any objects, e.g. suitcase or washing basket, on the heating pad when it is switched on,
· do not place any sources of heat, e.g. hot water bottle or similar, on the heating pad when it is switched on.
These may all damage the heating pad.
Do not cover the control 1 and do not place it
on the heating pad when the pad is in operation.

Safety system / Preparations for use
Safety system
Note: the heating pad is equipped with a safety
system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the entire surface of the heating pad from overheating by automatically switching off in the event of a fault. If the safety system switches the heating pad off auto­matically due to a fault, then the function display on the control unit if the heating pad is switched on.
Please note that, for safety reasons, the heating
pad must not be used after a fault and must be returned to the service address indicated.

Preparations for use
Note: the heating pad may smell of plastic the
first time you use it, but this will disappear after a short period of time.
To begin, first connect the control 1 to the
heating pad with the plug-in connector (see fig. B).
Position the heating pad according to your
individual requirements on your back or stomach (see fig. C).
Wind the long, extendible rubber band around
your body.
Then fix the heating pad to your body by
connecting the Velcro fasteners of the heating pad with the Velcro fasteners of the rubber band (see fig. D).

Note: this heating pad features rapid heating, which allows it to heat up within the first 10 minutes of operation.

Set Level 0 on the control 1 to switch the
heating pad off.

Just before using the heating pad, set it to the
highest temperature setting (level 6). This will cause the heating pad to warm up quickly.
If you wish to leave the heated pad on for several
hours, set the lowest temperature (level 1).

washing cycle for delicate items at 30 °C.
For ecological reasons, please only wash the
heating pad together with other textiles. Use a mild laundry detergent according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Please note that frequent washing will cause
wear to the heating pad. It should therefore be washed no more than max. 10 times in a washing machine throughout its useful life.

Disposal
The packaging and ancillary packing consist of environmentally friendly materials. They can be disposed of at your local recycling facility.
Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household rubbish!
In accordance with European Directive 2002 / 96 / EC (covering waste electrical and electronic equipment) and its transposition into national legislation, worn out electrical devices must be collected separately and taken for environmentally compatible recycling.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn out heating pad.
Warrant y / Service centre
We provide a 3-year warranty covering faults in materials or manufacture of the product from the purchase date.
In the event of a warranty claim, the customer has the right to have the goods repaired by our own workshop or a workshop authorised by use. The heating pad must not be opened for any reason. Opening or modifying the device invalidates the warranty. This warranty does not grant any additional rights to the customer. Complaints are often initiated by difficulties encountered during use. Many of these complaints can be resolved by telephone or e-mail. Please contact our Service Hotline in the first instance, before you return the device to the manufacturer.

The warranty does not cover:
· Damage resulting from improper use.
· Wear parts.

This warranty does not affect the customer‘s legal rights.
The customer must provide proof of purchase in order for any warranty claims within the warranty period to be honoured.
