Déballage
♦ Sortez du carton toutes les pièces de l'appareil et le mode d'emploi.
♦ Retirez tous les matériaux d'emballage.
AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE D'ÉTOUFFEMENT!
► Les matériaux d'emballage ne doivent pas servir de jouet aux enfants.
Il y a un risque d'étouffement.
Élimination de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.
Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de
l'environnement et de recyclage permettant une élimination écologique de ceux-ci.
Le recyclage de l'emballage en filière de revalorisation permet d'économiser des
matières premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux d'emballage qui ne servent plus en respectant la réglementation locale.

REMARQUE
► Si possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la période de garantie
de l'appareil afin de pouvoir emballer ce dernier en bonne et due forme
en cas de recours en garantie.

Consignes de sécurité
RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
► Raccordez l'appareil uniquement à une prise secteur instal-
lée en bonne et due forme avec une des tensions secteur
correspondant à la plaque signalétique.
► Vous ne devez en aucun cas plonger l'appareil dans l'eau
ni laisser pénétrer du liquide dans le boîtier de l'appareil.
Il est interdit d'exposer l'appareil à l'humidité et de l'utiliser
à l'extérieur. Si toutefois du liquide devait pénétrer dans le
boîtier de l'appareil, débranchez immédiatement la fiche de
la prise secteur et confiez l'appareil à un atelier spécialisé
pour le réparer.
► En cas de défaillances et avant de nettoyer l'appareil, retirez
la fiche secteur de la prise secteur.
► Retirer la fiche secteur de la prise, ne pas tirer sur le cordon
pour débrancher.
► N'enroulez pas le cordon autour de l'appareil et veillez à le
protéger contre toutes détériorations.
► Faites immédiatement remplacer la fiche secteur ou le cordon
d'alimentation endommagé par des techniciens spécialisés
agréés ou par le service après-vente pour éviter tout risque.
► Ne pas exercer de contrainte mécanique excessive sur le
cordon d'alimentation et le poser de manière à ce que
personne ne puisse trébucher dessus.
► L'utilisation d'une rallonge est interdite.
► Ne jamais saisir l'appareil, le cordon électrique ou la fiche
secteur avec des mains humides.
► Après utilisation de l'appareil, débranchez-le immédiatement du
réseau électrique. L'appareil n'est entièrement hors tension qu'à
partir du moment où la fiche est débranchée de la prise secteur.

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
► N'ouvrez pas le boîtier de l'appareil et ne le réparez pas.
Dans ce cas, la sécurité n'est plus assurée et vous perdez le
bénéfice de la garantie. Confiez la réparation d'un appareil
défectueux uniquement à un technicien spécialisé.
► Veillez à ce que le cordon secteur ne soit pas mouillé ou
humide pendant le fonctionnement.
Acheminez-le afin qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.
Ne jamais utiliser l'appareil à proximité de l'eau, en particulier à proximité d'un lavabo, d'une baignoire ou de récipients similaires. La proximité d'eau représente un danger,
même si l'appareil est éteint. Pour cette raison, débrancher
l'appareil après chaque utilisation. À titre de protection
supplémentaire, nous recommandons l'installation d'un
relais disjoncteur contre le courant de fuite avec un seuil
de déclenchement inférieur ou égal à 30 mA dans le circuit
électrique de la salle de bains. Demandez conseil à votre
installateur d'équipement électrique.

► Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants à partir de
8 ans et plus et par des personnes ayant des capacités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou un manque
d’expérience et de connaissances à condition qu’elles aient
reçu une supervision ou des instructions concernant I’utilisation
de I’appareil en toute sécurité et qu’elles comprennent les
dangers encourus.
► Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l’appareil.
► Le nettoyage et I’entretien par I’usager ne doivent pas être
effectués par des enfants sans surveillance.

► Ne posez jamais l'appareil allumé sans déplier le repose-fer.
► Ne laissez jamais l'appareil allumé sans surveillance.
► Ne placez jamais l'appareil à proximité de sources de chaleur
et protégez le cordon d'alimentation de détériorations.
► Si l'appareil est tombé ou est endommagé, ne pas le
remettre en service. Faire vérifier et, le cas échéant, réparer
l'appareil par des techniciens spécialisés et qualifiés.
► Les pièces de l'appareil peuvent devenir très chaudes en
service. Par conséquent, ne touchez que la poignée et l'interrupteur.
ATTENTION - RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS!
► Ne travaillez jamais des perruques ou des postiches en
matière synthétique. Ils peuvent en effet être endommagés
par la chaleur !
► Ne coiffez que les cheveux humains. N'utilisez pas l'appareil
sur les animaux.

Avant la mise en service
■ Avant de mettre en service l'appareil, veuillez vous assurer que...
–
l'appareil se trouve dans un état impeccable,
– tous les emballages ont été enlevés.
■ Essuyez l'appareil avec un chiffon humide et séchez-le bien.
REMARQUE - COUPURE DE SÉCURITÉ
Cet appareil est doté d'un système de coupure de sécurité.
Au bout d'env. 30 minutes sans avoir actionné l'interrupteur marche/arrêt ,
l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement. Au bout de 25 minutes, le témoin indicateur se met à clignoter pour vous rappeler de la coupure automatique.
La coupure automatique ne remplace pas la coupure manuelle avec l'interrupteur marche/arrêt ! Elle ne sert qu'à votre sécurité, si vous avez oublié
d'éteindre !
Avant le coiffage
■ Les cheveux doivent être propres, secs et exempts de tout produit de coiffage.
Certains produits spéciaux qui soutiennent le bouclage des cheveux peuvent
être utilisés.
■ Peignez soigneusement les cheveux avant de les boucler, afin qu'il n'y ait
plus aucun nœud dans les cheveux.
■ Séparez les cheveux en parties maniables et fixez les parties supérieures
sur la tête à l'aide de pinces, afin qu'elles ne vous gênent pas.
Utilisation
Allumer/éteindre l'appareil
– Branchez la fiche secteur dans une prise secteur.
– Réglez l'interrupteur marche/arrêt sur la position ON. Le témoin
indicateur se met à clignoter. L'appareil chauffe. Dès que le témoin
indicateur reste allumé, le fer est chaud.
– Dès que vous avez terminé le coiffage des cheveux, glissez l'interrupteur
marche/arrêt en position OFF et débranchez la fiche secteur.

Styles de coiffure
AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURES!
► Faites attention en manipulant le fer à boucler chauffé. Ne touchez pas le
cuir chevelu ou d'autres parties du corps avec le fer chaud!
Il y a un risque de brûlures !
Lorsque l'appareil est chaud :
1) Fixez la pointe de la mèche à l'aide du clip à cheveux au niveau de
l'appareil.
2) Enroulez ensuite le fer dans les cheveux, de manière à ce que les cheveux se placent autour de chaque bille, et dans les espaces intermédiaires.
3) Patientez env. 5 secondes dans cette position, déroulez le fer de la
mèche de cheveux et desserrez la pince à cheveux .
4) Procédez de la même manière avec les autres mèches.
5) Laissez refroidir la boucle avant de la coiffer.
REMARQUE
Si vous souhaitez déposer l'appareil entre deux, dépliez le repose-fer escamotable .
Nettoyage et entretien

► N'utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs, chimiques ou abrasifs !
Ils peuvent en effet endommager la surface de l'appareil.
■ Nettoyer l'appareil exclusivement à l'aide d'un chiffon légèrement humide.
■ Laissez entièrement sécher l'appareil avant de l'utiliser à nouveau ou de le
ranger.

■ Vous pouvez suspendre l'appareil au niveau de l'œillet de suspension .

Conservez l'appareil dans un endroit sec et exempt de poussière.
Mise au rebut de l'appareil
Ne jetez jamais l'appareil avec les ordures ménagères.
Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2012/19/EU
(déchets d'équipements électriques et électroniques).
Éliminez l'appareil par l'intermédiaire d'une entreprise de traitement des déchets
autorisée ou via le service de recyclage de votre commune. Respectez la réglementation en vigueur. En cas de doute, veuillez contacter votre centre de recyclage.

Cet appareil est garanti 3 ans à partir de la date d'achat. L'appareil a été
fabriqué avec soin et contrôlé consciencieusement avant sa livraison.
Veuillez conserver le ticket de caisse en guise de preuve d'achat. En cas
d'exercice de la garantie, veuillez contacter le service après-vente compétent.
Cette condition doit être respectée pour assurer l'expédition gratuite de votre
marchandise.
REMARQUE
Le produit est destiné uniquement à un usage privé et ne répond pas à un usage
professionnel. La garantie est annulée en cas d'entretien incorrect et inapproprié,
d'usage de la force et en cas d'intervention non réalisée par notre centre de
service après-vente agréé.
Vos droits légaux ne sont pas restreints par la présente garantie.
L'exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie. Cette disposition

Toute réparation survenant après la période sous garantie fera l'objet d'une facturation.

► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
Auspacken
♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
WARNUNG! ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!
► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen von Kindern verwendet
werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig ins-
tallierte Netzsteckdose mit einer der auf dem Typenschild
entsprechenden Netzspannung an.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen
und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und
nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das
Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker
des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät
reinigen den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen Sie
nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Wickeln Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät
und schützen Sie sie vor Beschädigungen.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort
von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht
und verlegen Sie sie so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.
► Sie dürfen kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzanschlussleitung und -stecker nie mit
nassen Händen an.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Strom-
netz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose
ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht öffnen oder reparieren.
In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät nur von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass
oder feucht wird.
Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt
werden kann.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von
Wasser, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken,
Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe von Wasser
stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
Ziehen Sie daher nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker.
Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird Ihnen die Installation einer
Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im Badezimmer-Stromkreis
empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur um Rat.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme
■ Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass ...

– alle Verpackungsmaterialien entfernt sind.
■ Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab und trocknen Sie es ab.
HINWEIS - SICHERHEITS-ABSCHALTUNG
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Sicherheits-Abschaltung ausgestattet.
Nach ca. 30 Minuten ohne Betätigung des Ein-/Aus-Schalters schaltet
sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Nach ca. 25 Minuten beginnt die Indikationsleuchte zu blinken, um Sie an die automatische Abschaltung zu
erinnern.
Die Sicherheits-Abschaltung ersetzt nicht das manuelle Ausschalten mit
dem Ein-/Aus-Schalter ! Sie dient nur Ihrer Sicherheit, falls das Abschalten vergessen wird!
Vor dem Frisieren
■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-
nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Curlen des Haares unterstützen.
■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Frisieren gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten
im Haar befinden.
■ Teilen Sie das Haar in handhabbare Partien ein und befestigen Sie die obe-
ren Partien mit Klammern auf dem Kopf, damit sie nicht im Weg sind.
Bedienen
Ein-/Ausschalten
– Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
– Schieben Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter in die Position ON. Die Indika-
tionsleuchte beginnt zu blinken. Das Gerät heizt auf. Sobald die
Indikationsleuchte dauerhaft leuchtet, ist der Heizstab aufgeheizt.
– Wenn Sie mit dem Styling der Haare fertig sind, schieben Sie den Ein-/
Aus-Schalter in die Position OFF und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Seien sie vorsichtig im Umgang mit dem aufgeheizten Lockenstab. Berühren Sie
nicht die Kopfhaut oder andere Körperstellen mit dem heißen Heizstab !
Das führt zu Verbrennungen!
Wenn das Gerät aufgeheizt ist:
1) Klemmen Sie die Spitze der Haarsträhne mit Hilfe des Haarclips am
Gerät fest.
2) Rollen Sie dann den Heizstab in das Haar ein, so dass die Haare sich um
die einzelnen Kugeln legen, wie auch in die Zwischenräume.
3) Warten Sie ca. 5 Sekunden in dieser Position ab, wickeln Sie den Heizstab
aus der Haarsträhne heraus und lösen Sie den Haarclip .
4) Verfahren Sie mit den übrigen Strähnen genauso.
5) Lassen Sie die Locken auskühlen, bevor Sie sie frisieren.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie das Gerät zwischendurch ablegen wollen, klappen Sie den Standfuß aus.
Reinigen und Pflegen

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect this appliance only to a properly installed wall power
socket providing electrical energy as specified on the rating
plate.
► Under no circumstances should the appliance be submersed
in liquids or liquids be allowed to penetrate the housing.
Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it
outdoors. If liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket immediately and have it
repaired by a qualified technician.
► In the event of malfunctions and before you clean the appliance,
remove the plug from the mains power socket.
► To disconnect the appliance, pull only on the plug itself, not
on the power cable.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and
protect the cable from being damaged.
► To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power
cables replaced immediately by an authorised specialist

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Do not open the appliance housing or attempt to repair
the appliance yourself. Doing so can lead to risks and also
invalidates the warranty. Only allow authorised technicians
to repair a defective appliance.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist
during use.
Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or
damaged.
Never use the appliance near water, and keep it away
from sinks, baths and other similar containers. Water in the
proximity of the appliance is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched off. Always disconnect the plug from the
mains power socket after use. As additional protection,
the installation of a residual current circuit-breaker with an
activation power rating of not more than 30 mA is recommended for the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your
electrician for advice.

Before use
■ Before using the appliance ensure that ...
–
the appliance is in good working condition
– all packaging materials have been removed.
■ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and then dry it well.
NOTE – SAFETY SWITCH-OFF
This appliance is fitted with a safety switch-off.
After approx. 30 minutes, and without activation of the on/off switch ,
the appliance switches itself off automatically. After approx. 25 minutes
the indicator lamp starts to flash, to remind you it is about to switch off
automatically.
The safety switch-off is not intended to replace switching the appliance off
manually with the on/off switch ! It is only for your safety, in the event
that you forget to switch the appliance off!
Before styling
■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. Special products
which facilitate curling of the hair are excepted.
■ Comb the hair thoroughly before styling so that there are no knots in it.
■ Divide the hair into manageable portions and pin the upper portions to the
head with grips so that they do not get in the way.
Operation
Switching on and off
– Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
– Push the On/Off switch to the ON position. The indicator light
starts to flash. The appliance heats up. As soon as the indicator lamp
lights up permanently, the heating element has heated up.
– When you have finished styling your hair, push the on/off switch to
the OFF position and disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.

Styling
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Take care when handling the heated curling iron. Do not touch the scalp or
other parts of the body with the hot heating element ! This could cause
burns!
When the appliance is heated-up:
1) Clamp the tip of the hair strand firmly onto the appliance using the hair clip .
2) Then roll the heating element into the hair so that the hairs are wrapped
around the individual balls as well as in the grooves in between.
3) Wait around 5 seconds in this position, unwind the heating element from
the hair strand and open the hair clip .
4) Proceed with the other strands in the same way.
5) Allow the curls to cool down before you continue styling the hair.
NOTE
If you want to put down the appliance at any time during use, simply fold out
the stand back to the rear.
Cleaning and care

► Before cleaning the appliance, always pull out the plug from the mains
power socket. There is a risk of electric shock!

The appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior
to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, not

The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
