Information regarding these operating instructions
These operating instructions are a component of the Composite AV cable with mains adapter SAVK 2000 A1 (subsequently designated as the device or product) and provides you with important informa­tion regarding proper use, safety, connections as well as operation of the device. These operating instructions must be constantly kept available close to the device. They are to be read and applied by anyone assigned to operate, and repair faults in the device. Retain these operating instructions and pass them on, together with the device, to any future owners.

Introduction
Intended use
This product is designed exclusively for connection of an iPod, iPhone or iPad to the Composite video connection and analogue audio connections of a television set and/or a stereo receiver. Via the USB plug, which can be connected to a computer or to the supplied mains adapter, the contents of an iPad, iPhone or iPod are synchro­nised and/or the rechargeable batteries are charged. The product can be used with all devices from the iPod, iPhone and iPad family.
This product is intended for private use only and not for commercial applications. Any other or unintended use is regarded as improper use and can lead to damages. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be accepted.
The operator alone bears liability.
iPod, iPhone and iPad are trade names of Apple Inc., registered in the USA and other countries. "Made for iPod, iPhone, iPad" means that an electronic accessory is specially designed for connection to an iPod, iPhone or iPad and the developer therefore warrants that the device corresponds to Apple's performance standards. Apple is not responsible for the operation of this device or for adherence to the safety and regulation standards. Please be advised that use of this accessory with an iPod, iPhone or iPad can aff ect the performance of wireless communication.

Never open the device housing there are no serviceable parts inside! If the housing is opened, there is a risk of receiving a potentially fatal electric shock.

Never make a knot in the connection cable and do not bind it together with other cables. The connection cable should be layed in such a manner so as to avoid anyone stumbling over it.
Damaged cables or connections should be replaced by authorised qualifi ed personnel or by the Customer Service department.

1. Connect the yellow cinch plug vision set.
2. Connect the white cinch plug 7 and the red cinch plug 8 to the left and right analogue audio inputs on your television set or stereo receiver.
3. Connect the iPod/iPhone/iPad Dock Connector 4 to your iPod and/or iPhone or iPad.

Make sure that you have confi gured your iPod, iPhone or iPad to send video signals to your television set and/or stereo receiver. Further information can be found in your device's user guide. Also observe the information in the user manuals of your television set, stereo receiver or other devices in order to locate the appropriate connections.
NOTICE
If you are using an iPod without video support you can use the cable for synchronising contents and for charging the
echargeable battery.

WARNING
Pull the mains adapter every cleaning. The risk of a fatal electrical shock exists. Make sure that no moisture enters the device whilst cleaning.
Clean the mains adapter and the AV cable with a soft, slightly damp cloth. In the case of stubborn stains, pour a few drops of a mild detergent on the damp cloth.
Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents as these could damage the plastic surfaces.
Storage
If you do not intend to use the device for an extended period of time disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power supply and store it in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight.

Do not dispose of the device in your normal
domestic waste. This product is subject to the European directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please get in touch, by telephone, with our service department. Only in this way can a post-free dispatch for your goods be assured.
