Safety instructions

For safe handling of the device, follow the safety information below:
■ Check the earphones for external signs of damage before use.
Do not operate damaged earphones or earphones that have
been dropped.
■ If the cables or connections are damaged, have them replaced
by an authorised specialist or customer service.
■ Persons who are incapable of operating the earphones safely
due to their physical, intellectual or motor abilities must only use
them under the supervision or direction of a responsible adult.
■ Children may only be permitted to use the earphones if they are
under supervision.
■ Repairs to the earphones should only be carried out by author-
ised specialist personnel or by the customer service department.
Failure to make proper repairs can put the user at risk. This will
also invalidate warranty claims.
■ Repairs to the earphones during the warranty period may only
be carried out by a customer service department that has been
authorised by the manufacturer, otherwise no additional warranty
claims can be considered for subsequent damage.
■ Defective components must always be replaced with original
replacement parts. It can only be guaranteed that safety requirements are being complied with if using original replacement parts
are used.
■ No unauthorised design changes or modifi cations must be made
to the earphones.
■ Protect the earphones from penetration by moisture and liquids.

Operation
Use storage bag
The storage bag 5 is a safe place to keep your playback device,
the length of the earphones 1 can be adapted to your needs, and
the earphones can be stored in the bag when they are not being used.
■ Open the zip fastener of the storage bag 5 and lead the jack-
plug through the eye of the storage bag 5 from the outside.
■ Secure your playback device in the storage bag 5 using the
rubber retainer and connect the earphones 1 using the jackplug.
■ Store excess cable in the storage net of the storage bag 5.
Connect the earphones
The earphones 1 are equipped with a 3.5 mm jackplug. Many
electronic entertainment devices are equipped with an appropriate
headphone socket. If your audio device has been equipped with
a diff erent headphone connector, you may need to use a suitable
adapter (not supplied).

Using the earphones

■ When putting on the earphones 1, pay attention to the side
indicators "R" (right) and "L" (left) on the earpieces.
■ Carefully slide one of the earphones 1 deep into the ear canal.
In order to straighten the ear channel somewhat and therefore
make the earphone easier to insert, pull auricle backwards and
upwards a little.
■ Proceed in the same way to insert the other earphone 1.
Replacing the ear cushions
In the as-delivered condition, the earphones 1 are provided with
medium size ear cushions 2. Depending on the size of your auricle
you can use ear cushions (3 or 4) of a diff erent size from the ones
supplied.
NOTE
The better the ear cushion seals off the ear canal, the better
the sound quality, particularly at lower frequencies.
■ Use your fi ngers to carefully pull on the ear cushions 2 to detach
them from the earphones 1.
■ Select suitable ear cushions (3 or 4) from the ones that are
supplied. Push these directly onto the earphones 1 until they slip
into the recesses on the earphones 1.

■ Clean the earphones 1 and the storage bag 5 with a damp cloth.
■ Remove the ear cushions (2, 3 or 4) for cleaning. Clean the
ear cushions under running water. Dry the ear cushions properly.
Do not fold the ear cushions back over the earphones 1 until they
are properly dry.
Storage
■ Store the earphones 1 in the storage bag 5 in a dry, dust-free
place.
Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in your normal
domestic waste. This product is subject to the
provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at
your community waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable
regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre should you be
in any doubt.

purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and
inspected meticulously prior to delivery. Please retain your receipt
