and thoroughly through these operating instructions and the safety advice, completely famil­iarising yourself with the appliance. You may find it useful to open out the page illustrating the slicer and describing both it and its operation. Retain these in­structions for future reference and pass them on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

This appliance is intended exclusively for slicing normal household foodstuffs. The food to be sliced must be thawed, unpacked and free from bones before it can be sliced with the appliance. All other uses, and modifications to the appliance, are deemed to be improper usage and may result in serious physical injury. Carefully remove the electric Multi-Purpose
Slicer from its packaging, remove all packag­ing materials and keep them together with the main packaging.
Clean the electric Multi-Purpose Slicer before it
comes into contact with any foodstuffs (see also the chapter ‘Cleaning’).

cut soft foodstuffs.Push the Vario-switch completely in the direction of the sharp end.

Use a high revolution speed for slicing hard
foodstuffs. Push the Vario-switch in the direction of the broad end.
Note: Between the maximum and minimum adjustments you can naturally also carry out further individual settings. Practice appropriate trial slicings.
