Introduction

Information about these operating instructions

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance. You have
thereby decided in favour of a high quality product. These operat­ing instructions are a component of the Aroma Diffuser SAD12D3
(hereafter referred to as the appliance or product) and they provide
you with important information about the intended use, safety, con­nection and operation of the appliance. These operating instructions
must be constantly kept available close to the appliance. They are to
be read and applied by everyone assigned to operate the appliance
and to eliminate faults with it. Retain these operating instructions
and pass them on, together with the appliance, to a possible future
owner.

Intended Use

This appliance is intended only for domestic use and for the refresh­ing and humidification of air in enclosed spaces. This appliance is not
intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned here.

Claims of any kind resulting from damage caused by improper use,
incompetent repairs, unauthorized modifications or the use of non­approved spare parts will not be acknowledged.

The operator alone bears liability.

Safety

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance. Incorrect usage can, however, lead to
personal and property damage.

Basic safety instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety
information:

■

Before use, check the appliance for signs of
visible external damage. Do not put into opera­tion an appliance that is damaged or has been
dropped. There is also a risk of personal injury!

■ This appliance may be used by children of the

age of 8 years or more and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or, in regard to the safe use of the
appliance, have been instructed in its use and
understand the potential risks. Children must not
play with the appliance. Children should not
carry out cleaning and user maintenance tasks
without supervision.

■ Operate the appliance only with the supplied

power adapter.

■ The appliance and mains adapter may only

be used in dry interior rooms.

■ Place the appliance only on flat surfaces, so that

a tipping over is excluded.

■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised

specialist companies or by the Customer Ser­vice Department. Incorrect repairs can result in
significant risks for the user. In addition, warranty
claims become void.

■ To avoid risks, arrange for defective power plugs

and/or cables to be replaced at once by qualified
technicians or our Customer Service Department.

■ This appliance may not be exposed to rain.

Protect the appliance from moisture and the
penetration of liquids and objects into the hous­ing. NEVER submerse the appliance in water
and do not place objects filled with liquids (such
as vases) on the appliance. The appliance could
also be irreparably damaged!

■ Before filling/emptying the water tank and be-

fore cleaning, disconnect the plug from the mains
power socket.

■ Do not operate the appliance close to open

flames (e.g. candles). The appliance could also
be irreparably damaged!

■ Avoid direct solar radiation. The appliance could

be irreparably damaged!

■ Always disconnect the mains power cable from

the socket by pulling on the plug, do not pull
on the cable itself. Otherwise, the power cable
could be damaged.

■ Use the appliance only with essential oils

(aromatic oils).

■ Only aromatic oils which comply with national

health requirements may be used. The use of other
substances may result in poisoning or a risk of fire.

■ Keep scented oils out of the reach of children.

■ Always store scented oils under lock and key.

■ Also note the warnings on the labels of the

scented oils:

Setting up and connecting

WARNING

During the commissioning of the appliance personal
injury and property damage could occur!

Observe the following safety information to avoid these risks:

► Packaging material should not be used by children as a play

thing. There is a risk of suffocation.

► To avoid damage to people and property, pay heed to the

requirements for the installation site and the electrical con­nection of the appliance.

NOTICE

► Check the contents to ensure everything has been provided,

and for signs of visible damage.

► If the contents are incomplete, or have been damaged due

to defective packaging or transportation, contact the Service
Hotline (see chapter Service).

Unpacking

♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and these operating instruc-

tions from the box.

♦ Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.

Disposal of packaging

The packaging materials have been selected for their
environmental friendliness and ease of disposal and are
therefore recyclable. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with
applicable local regulations.

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner. Note the labelling on the packaging and
separate the packaging material components for
disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled
with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the
following meanings: 1–7: Plastics, 20–22: Paper and
cardboard, 80–98: Composites.

Electrical connection

IMPORTANT

► Before you connect the appliance to the power supply, check

to ensure that the required input voltage as given on the type
plate tallies with that for the intended power source. To avoid
possible damage to the appliance this data must match.

► Check to ensure that the cable for the power adapter0

is not damaged and that it does not lead over hot surfaces
and or sharp edges, otherwise it could be damaged.

► Ensure that the cable for the power adapter0 is not over-

taut or kinked.

♦ Connect the power adapter0 to the appliance by inserting the

plug into the plug socket9 on the underside of the appliance.

Handling and operation

Initial use

IMPORTANT

► It is possible that oil drops may cause damage to furniture

surfaces. If necessary, place a cloth under the appliance.

♦ Place the appliance on a level and stable surface.
♦ Remove the lid1 and fill the water tank4, by using the

supplied measuring beakerq with max. 120 ml of clean mains

water. Pay heed to the maximum filling level8.

♦ Add 2 to 4 drops of the desired oil to the water.
♦ Then replace the lid1 onto the water tank4. Ensure that

the steam outlet2 is not placed directly above the ventilation

slot3 otherwise no steam can escape.

♦ Insert the power adapter0 into the mains power socket.

power socket before filling or emptying the appliance.

Cleaning/Storage/Disposal

IMPORTANT

Damage to the appliance!

► To avoid irreparable damage, when you are cleaning the

appliance ensure that no moisture can penetrate into it.

► Ensure that you remove the power adapter0 from the

mains power socket before cleaning the appliance.

► To avoid damage, do not empty the appliance through the

ventilation slot3. When emptying it, take note of the pour­ing direction arrow7 on the water tank4.

► Under no circumstances should you try to remove scale

deposits with a pointed or sharp object. The appliance could
be irreparably damaged.

Cleaning/descaling the appliance

♦ Clean the water tank4 after each use so as to remove oil resi-

due as completely as possible. For this, use a soft and slightly

moist cloth. In the case of stubborn stains, place a few drops of

mild detergent on the damp cloth.

NOTICE

► Use common retail sunflower oil to remove discolourations

caused by oils from the water container4.

♦ Should the steam production diminish, the ceramic disk5

located at the bottom of the water tank4 must be cleaned.

For this, use a slightly moistened cotton bud.

♦ Clean the surfaces of the appliance with a soft and dry cloth.
♦ To descale the appliance, use a standard commercial liquid

descaling agent. Pay heed also to the manufacturer’s instruc-

tions for your descaler.

♦ Fill the water tank4 to the maximum filling level8 with

descaler and let it stand until the scale is fully dissolved.

♦ Pour the scale removal away and then clean the water tank4

with a soft and slightly damp cloth.

Storage

Should you decide to not use the appliance for an extended period,
disconnect it from the mains power supply and store it in a clean
and dry location away from direct sunlight.

Disposing of the appliance

Never dispose of the appliance or the mains
adapter in your normal domestic waste. This
product is subject to the provision of European
Directive 2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance and the mains adapter via an
approved disposal company or your municipal waste
facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In
case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Your local community or municipal authorities can
provide information on how to dispose of the worn-out
product.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of pur-

chase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain
statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by
the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your
receipt in a safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the
date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the
product for you or refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This
warranty service requires that you present the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year warranty
period, along with a brief written description of the fault and of
when it occurred.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be
repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product
does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components.
Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be re­ported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry
of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict
quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The war­ranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and
tear or to fragile parts which could be considered as consumable
parts such as switches, batteries or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged,
improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the
operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the
product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discour­aged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must
be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial
purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or
improper handling, use of force and modifications / repairs which
have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

SAD 12 D3 (εφεξής καλούμενο ως συσκευή ή προϊόν) και σας

Προβλεπόμενη χρήση

εξυπηρέτησης πελατών. Σε περίπτωση ακα­τάλληλων επισκευών, ενδέχεται να προκύψουν
κίνδυνοι για τον χρήστη. Επίσης, ακυρώνεται
η αξίωση εγγύησης.

■ Τα βύσματα ή τα καλώδια δικτύου που έχουν

υποστεί ζημιά πρέπει να αντικαθίστανται άμε­σα από εξουσιοδοτημένο εξειδικευμένο προ­σωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελα­τών, ώστε να αποφεύγονται τυχόν κίνδυνοι.

Τοποθέτηση και σύνδεση

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ

Κατά τη θέση σε λειτουργία της συσκευής, μπορεί να

Τηρείτε τις ακόλουθες υποδείξεις ασφαλείας, ώστε να αποφεύγετε
κινδύνους:

► Τα υλικά συσκευασίας δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιούνται

από παιδιά ως παιχνίδι. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος ασφυξίας.

► Τηρείτε τις υποδείξεις για τις απαιτήσεις στο σημείο τοποθέτη-

σης, καθώς και για την ηλεκτρική σύνδεση της συσκευής, ώστε
να αποφεύγετε σωματικές βλάβες και υλικές ζημιές.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Ελέγξτε τον παραδοτέο εξοπλισμό ως προς την πληρότητά

του, καθώς και για εμφανείς ζημιές.

► Σε περίπτωση ελλιπούς παραδοτέου εξοπλισμού ή ζημιών

λόγω ελλιπούς συσκευασίας ή μεταφοράς, απευθυνθείτε
στη γραμμή εξυπηρέτησης πελατών (βλ. κεφάλαιο Σέρβις).

Αποσυσκευασία

♦ Αφαιρέστε όλα τα εξαρτήματα της συσκευής και αυτές τις οδη-

γίες χρήσης από το κουτί.

♦ Απομακρύνετε όλα τα υλικά συσκευασίας από τη συσκευή.

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Τα υλικά συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους
κανόνες προστασίας του περιβάλλοντος και τις τεχνικές
απόρριψης και, ως εκ τούτου, είναι ανακυκλώσιμα.
Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας που δεν χρησιμο­ποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τις κατά τόπους ισχύου­σες προδιαγραφές.

Απορρίπτετε τη συσκευασία με τρόπο φιλικό προς το
περιβάλλον. Λαμβάνετε υπόψη τη σήμανση στα διάφορα
υλικά συσκευασίας και, εφόσον απαιτείται, ξεχωρίζετέ τα.
Τα υλικά συσκευασίας φέρουν σήμανση με συντομογρα­φίες (a) και ψηφία (b) με την εξής σημασία: 1–7: Πλαστι­κά, 20–22: Χαρτί και χαρτόνι, 80–98: Συνθετικά υλικά.

Ηλεκτρική σύνδεση

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

► Πριν τη σύνδεση της συσκευής, συγκρίνετε τα στοιχεία σχετικά

με την απαιτούμενη τάση εισόδου στην πινακίδα τεχνικών
χαρακτηριστικών με την πηγή τάσης που προβλέπεται για τη
λειτουργία. Αυτά τα στοιχεία πρέπει να συμφωνούν, ώστε να
μην προκαλούνται βλάβες στη συσκευή.

► Βεβαιώνεστε ότι το καλώδιο του προσαρμογέα δικτύου0 δεν έχει

υποστεί ζημιές και δεν έχει τοποθετηθεί επάνω από καυτές επιφάνει­ες και/ή αιχμηρές άκρες, ειδάλλως θα υποστεί ζημιά.

► Προσέχετε ώστε το καλώδιο του προσαρμογέα δικτύου0 να

μην τεντώνεται πολύ ή να μην κάμπτεται.

♦ Συνδέστε τον προσαρμογέα δικτύου

Ζημιά στη συσκευή!

► Βεβαιωθείτε ότι, κατά τον καθαρισμό, δεν εισέρχεται υγρασία μέσα

στη συσκευή, ώστε να αποφύγετε ανεπανόρθωτη ζημιά της.

► Τραβήξτε οπωσδήποτε τον προσαρμογέα δικτύου0 από την

πρίζα, πριν καθαρίσετε τη συσκευή.

► Προς αποφυγή ζημιών, μην αδειάζετε τη συσκευή μέσω της

εγκοπής αερισμού3. Για την εκκένωση, προσέξτε το βέλος

► Σε καμία περίπτωση μην αποπειραθείτε να απομακρύνετε

Καθαρισμός συσκευής/Απομάκρυνση αλάτων

♦ Καθαρίζετε το δοχείο νερού4 μετά από κάθε χρήση, ώστε να

απομακρύνετε όσο το δυνατόν όλα τα υπολείμματα ελαίων.
Για τον καθαρισμό, χρησιμοποιείτε ένα μαλακό, ελαφρώς νωπό
πανί. Σε σκληρούς λεκέδες προσθέτετε στο νωπό πανί μερικές
σταγόνες ενός ήπιου απορρυπαντικού.

Αποθήκευση

Εάν δεν πρόκειται να χρησιμοποιήσετε τη συσκευή για μεγάλο

ουσες προδιαγραφές. Σε περίπτωση αμφιβολιών, επικοι­νωνείτε με την αρμόδια επιχείρηση απόρριψης.

Η παρούσα συσκευή διαθέτει 3 χρόνια εγγύηση από την ημερομηνία

αγοράς. Στην περίπτωση ελλείψεων στο προϊόν έχετε νομικά δικαιώμα­τα έναντι του πωλητή του προϊόντος. Αυτά τα νομικά δικαιώματα δεν
περιορίζονται μέσω της κατωτέρω αναφερόμενης εγγύησης.

Προϋποθέσεις εγγύησης

Η περίοδος εγγύησης ξεκινά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Φυλάσσετε
την απόδειξη αγοράς. Απαιτείται ως αποδεικτικό αγοράς.

εξαρτήματα ή ζημιές σε εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες,
συσσωρευτές ή γυάλινα εξαρτήματα.
Η παρούσα εγγύηση ακυρώνεται εάν προκληθεί ζημιά στο προϊόν,

Informationen zu dieser Bedienungsanleitung

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf Ihres neuen Gerätes.
Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Diese
Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil des Aroma-Diffusers SAD12D3
(nachfolgend als Gerät oder Produkt bezeichnet) und gibt Ihnen
wichtige Hinweise für den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch, die
Sicherheit, den Anschluss sowie die Bedienung des Gerätes. Die
Bedienungsanleitung muss ständig in der Nähe des Gerätes verfüg­bar sein. Sie ist von jeder Person zu lesen und anzuwenden, die mit
der Bedienung und Störungsbehebung des Gerätes beschäftigt ist.
Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung auf und geben Sie diese
mit dem Gerät an Nachbesitzer weiter.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Dieses Gerät ist nur zur Erfrischung und Befeuchtung von Raumluft
in geschlossenen Räumen für den privaten Gebrauch bestimmt. Eine
andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestim­mungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht
bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung, unsachgemäßen Reparaturen,
unerlaubt vorgenommenen Veränderungen oder Verwendung nicht
zugelassener Ersatzteile sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein
der Benutzer.

Umgang mit dem Gerät. Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu
Personen- und Sachschäden führen.

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die
folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:

■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung

auf äußere sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein
beschädigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gerät
nicht in Betrieb. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr!

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jah-

ren und darüber sowie von Personen mit
verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Er­fahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung
dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichti­gung durchgeführt werden.

■ Das Gerät darf nur mit dem mitgelieferten

Netzadapter betrieben werden.

■ Das Gerät und der Netzadapter dürfen

nur in trockenen Innenräumen verwen­det werden.

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät nur auf ebene Flächen,

damit ein Umkippen ausgeschlossen ist.

■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von

autorisierten Fachbetrieben oder dem Kun­denservice durchführen. Durch unsachge­mäße Reparaturen können Gefahren für
den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der
Garantieanspruch.

■ Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder

Netzkabel sofort von autorisiertem Fachper­sonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

■ Dieses Gerät darf nicht dem Regen ausgesetzt

werden. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtig­keit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten und
Gegenständen in das Gehäuse. Tauchen Sie
das Gerät niemals unter Wasser und stellen
Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände
(z. B. Vasen) auf das Gerät. Das Gerät kann

irreparabel beschädigt werden.

■ Ziehen Sie bei jedem Befüllen/Entleeren des

Wasserbehälters und vor jeder Reinigung
den Netzadapter aus der Netzsteckdose.

■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen

Flammen (z. B. Kerzen) betreiben. Das Gerät
kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.

■ Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonnenbestrahlung.

■ Die Zuleitung immer am Anschlussstecker

aus der Steckerbuchse ziehen, nicht am
Anschlusskabel. Ansonsten kann das Kabel

(Aromaöle) benutzt werden.

■ Es dürfen nur Aromaöle verwendet werden,

die den nationalen Gesundheitsanforderun­gen entsprechen. Der Gebrauch anderer
Substanzen kann eine Vergiftung oder Brand­gefahr verursachen.

■ Die Aromaöle dürfen nicht in die Hände von

Kindern gelangen.

■ Die Aromaöle immer unter Verschluss aufbe-

wahren.

■ Beachten Sie auch die Warnungen auf dem

Kennzeichnungsetikett der Aromaöle:

Aufstellen und Anschließen

WARNUNG

Bei der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes können
Personen- und Sachschäden auftreten!

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um die Gefahren
zu vermeiden:

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen von

Kindern verwendet werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

► Beachten Sie die Hinweise zu den Anforderungen an den

Aufstellort sowie zum elektrischen Anschluss des Gerätes,
um Personen- und Sachschäden zu vermeiden.

Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

▯ Aroma-Diffuser SAD12D3
▯ Netzadapter
▯ Messbecher
▯ 2 x 10 ml Aromaöl (Sandelholz und Lavendel)
▯ Bedienungsanleitung

HINWEIS

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare

Schäden.

► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge

mangelhafter Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie
sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service).

Auspacken

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und diese Bedienungsan-

leitung aus dem Karton.

♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial vom Gerät.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträgli­chen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar. Entsorgen Sie nicht
mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den
örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltgerecht.
Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den verschiedenen
Verpackungsmaterialien und trennen Sie diese
gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien
sind gekennzeichnet mit Abkürzungen (a) und Ziffern (b)
mit folgender Bedeutung: 1–7: Kunststoffe,
20–22: Papier und Pappe, 80–98: Verbundstoffe.

Elektrischer Anschluss

ACHTUNG

► Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die

Angaben zur benötigten Eingangsspannung auf dem
Typenschild mit der für den Betrieb vorgesehenen Spannungs­quelle. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine
Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Kabel des Netzadapters0

unbeschädigt ist und nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder
scharfe Kanten verlegt wird, sonst wird es beschädigt.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel des Netzadapters0 nicht

straff gespannt oder geknickt wird.

♦ Verbinden Sie den Netzadapter0 mit dem Gerät, indem Sie

den Stecker in die Steckerbuchse9 an der Unterseite des
Geräts einstecken.

Bedienung und Betrieb

Inbetriebnahme

ACHTUNG

► Öl-Tropfen können unter Umständen Schäden an der

Möbeloberfläche verursachen. Legen Sie gegebenenfalls
eine Unterlage unter das Gerät.

♦ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen ebenen und stabilen Untergrund.
♦ Nehmen Sie den Deckel1 ab und füllen Sie den Wasserbe-

hälter4 mit Hilfe des beigefügten Messbechersq mit max.
120ml sauberem Leitungswasser. Beachten Sie die maximale
Füllhöhe8.

♦ Fügen Sie dem Wasser 2-4 Tropfen des gewünschten Öls bei.

♦ Setzen Sie anschließend den Deckel1 wieder auf den

Wasserbehälter4. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Dampfaus-
trittsöffnung2 nicht direkt über den Lüftungsschlitz3 platziert
wird, da ansonsten kein Dampf austreten kann.

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzadapter0 in die Steckdose.

Funktionen

► Ziehen Sie unbedingt den Netzadapter0 aus der Steckdose,

Reinigung/Lagerung/Entsorgung

ACHTUNG

Beschädigung des Gerätes!

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in

das Gerät eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des
Gerätes zu vermeiden.

► Ziehen Sie unbedingt den Netzadapter0 aus der Steckdose,

bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.

► Entleeren Sie das Gerät nicht über dem Lüftungsschlitz3,

um Schäden zu vermeiden. Beachten Sie zur Entleerung den
Ausgieß-Richtungspfeil7 am Wasserbehälter4.

► Versuchen Sie keinesfalls Kalkablagerungen mit spitzen oder

scharfen Gegenständen zu entfernen. Das Gerät kann dadurch
beschädigt werden.

Gerät reinigen/entkalken

♦ Reinigen Sie den Wasserbehälter4 nach jedem Gebrauch, um

Ölrückstände möglichst vollständig zu entfernen. Verwenden
Sie hierzu ein weiches, leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch. Geben Sie
bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen einige Tropfen eines milden
Spülmittels auf das feuchte Tuch.

HINWEIS

► Um durch Aromaöle bedingte Verfärbungen im Wasser-

behälter4 zu entfernen, verwenden Sie handelsübliches
Sonnenblumenöl.

♦ Die am Boden des Wasserbehälters4 befindliche Keramik-

scheibe5 muss gelegentlich gereinigt werden, wenn die
Nebelproduktion nachlässt. Verwenden Sie hierzu ein leicht
angefeuchtetes Wattestäbchen.

♦ Reinigen Sie die Oberflächen des Gerätes mit einem weichen,

trockenen Tuch.

♦ Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken des Gerätes ein handelsübliches

flüssiges Entkalkungsmittel. Beachten Sie auch die Herstelleran­gaben zu Ihrem Entkalkungsmittel.

♦ Füllen Sie den Wasserbehälter4 bis zur maximalen Füllhöhe8

mit Entkalkungsmittel und lassen Sie es so lange einwirken, bis
sich der Kalk gelöst hat.

♦ Schütten Sie das Entkalkungsmittel weg und reinigen Sie

anschließend den Wasserbehälter4 mit einem weichen,
leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.

Lagerung

Sollten Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, trennen Sie es von
der Stromversorgung und lagern es an einem sauberen, trockenen
Ort ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.

Gerät entsorgen

Werfen Sie das Gerät und den Netzadapter
keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses
Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment).

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät und den Netzadapter über
einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre
kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die
aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im
Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten
Produkts erfahren Sie bei Ihrer Gemeinde- oder
Stadtverwaltung.

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im

Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Ver­käufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte
werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte Garantie nicht einge­schränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den
Kassenbon gut auf. Dieser wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts
ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von
uns – nach unserer Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert, ersetzt, oder
der Kaufpreis erstattet. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Dreijahresfrist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg
(Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin
der Mangel besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie
das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder
Austausch des Produkts beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert.
Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim
Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem
Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfal­lende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig pro­duziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler.

Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler
Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen
werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen,
z. B. Schalter, Akkus oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachge­mäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung
des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten
Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke und Hand­lungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor
denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen
Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer
Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von
unserer autorisierten Serviceniederlassung vorgenommen wurden,
erlischt die Garantie.

Abwicklung im Garantiefall

Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung Ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten,
folgen Sie bitte den folgenden Hinweisen:

■ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikel-

nummer (z.B.IAN123456) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.

■ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild am

Produkt, einer Gravur am Produkt, dem Titelblatt der Bedienungs­anleitung (unten links) oder dem Aufkleber auf der Rück- oder
Unterseite des Produktes.

■ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten, kontak-
