Furniture transport set

Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your
new product. You have selected a high

quality product. Familiarise yourself with
the product before using it for the first time. To help
you do this, please read the accompanying operat­ing instructions. Only use the product as described
and for the indicated purpose. Save these instruc­tions for use. When passing this product on to
others, please also include all the documents.

Intended use

Use the furniture transport kit to raise furniture and
place it on the rolling base. You can then easily
transport the furniture for short distances.
The furniture transport kit is not intended for com­mercial use.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused
by improper or incorrect use.

Scope of delivery

Verify the furniture transport kit is complete and
undamaged immediately after unpacking:

1 Set of instructions for use

Safety notices

RISK OF INJURY!

Wear safety shoes to prevent injuries caused

by loads tipping.

Tipping loads can cause serious injuries. En-

sure the load being transported cannot tip.
Have a second person assist you. Always
move the load slowly.

Uncontrolled lowering of loads can cause

injuries. Always lower loads slowly.

Only use the lever arm and the four rolling

bases in good condition.
Do not extend the lever arm.
Secure furniture doors from accidentally

opening prior to transport.
Ensure there are no objects blocking the

transport route.
Only use the furniture transport kit on even

surfaces.
Align the rolling bases under the furniture so

the casters point in the same direction.
Do not leave children and persons requiring

supervision unsupervised with the furniture

transport kit. They are not always able to

correctly recognize hazards.

PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Remove the contents from the piece of furniture

before lifting and transporting.
Attaching the lever arm incorrectly may dam-

age the furniture. Always slide the flexible lever

arm head all the way under the piece of

furniture.
Place the four rolling bases under the outside

corners of the piece of furniture. The piece of

furniture should be all the way on the four

roller bases.
As a second person for assistance when

transporting large pieces of furniture.
Ensure there are no objects blocking the

transport route.

surfaces.

Operation

Placing furniture on

the rolling bases

Verify there is adequate space to work safely.
Remove objects such as other pieces of furni-

ture from about 1.5 m around the rolling

Note: to prevent unbalanced lifting, always
place the lever arm
lifted, paying attention to the load centre.

Grab the lever arm 2 by the handle 3. This

requires the least amount of force.

Slide the flexible head 1 of the lever arm 2

under the centre of the piece of furniture
(see Fig. A).

Slowly push down on the lever arm 2 to raise

the piece of furniture (see Fig. B).

Keep the lever arm 2 pushed down.
Slide a rolling base 4 under each of the two

raised corners of the piece of furniture

(see Fig. C).

To lower the piece of furniture onto the rolling

bases

(see Fig. D).

Remove the lever arm 2.
Repeat these steps on the opposite side of the

furniture.

Troubleshooting

The furniture is very difficult to move.

Align the rolling bases 4 so the casters point

in the same direction.

The piece of furniture can easily tip.

Place the four rolling bases 4 under the out-

side corners of the piece of furniture. The piece

of furniture should be all the way on the four

roller bases

Storage

Each rolling base 4 has a hole. These holes can
be used to e.g. hang the rolling base on pegboard.
The furniture transport kit can also be stored inside
the packaging.

Service

Securely pack the product or use the original

packaging to prevent transport damage.

Abraham-Diederichs products are submitted to
strict quality control. If a malfunction occurs, how­ever, please send the product to our service address.
A brief description of the defect will speed up trou­bleshooting and repairs. Please include the sales
receipt with the product during the warranty pe­riod. If the repair is not covered by warranty, we
will invoice you for the repair.
Important! We expressly state that according to
the Product Liability Act, we are not liable for dam­ages caused by our products, if these were caused
by improper repair, or if parts were replaced not
using our original parts or parts approved by us.

Disposal

Do not dispose of this product in your
normal domestic waste!

Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facility.

Observe the currently applicable regulations. In
case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal
centre. Dispose of packaging materials in an
environmentally responsible manner.

Med hjälp av denna lyfttransportör för möbler kan
du lyfta möbler och ställa dem på transporthörnen.
Därefter kan du transportera möbler över korta
sträckor utan nämnvärda kraftansträngningar.
Denna lyfttransportör för möbler är inte avsedd för
yrkesmässig användning.
Tillverkaren ansvarar inte för skador som beror på
icke ändamålsenlig användning eller felaktig
hantering.

RISK FÖR PERSONSKADOR!

Använd skyddsskor för att skydda dig mot

skador genom fallande last.

Genom fallande last kan allvarliga personska-

dor uppstå. Se till att den last du transporterar
inte kan välta. Låt en andra person hjälpa till.
Flytta lasten endast långsamt.

Laster som sänks ned okontrollerat kan orsaka

personskador. Släpp endast ned lasten kontrol­lerat.

Använd hävarmen och de fyra transporthörnen

endast i felfritt skick.
Förläng inte hävarmen.
Säkra dörrarna på resp. möbler mot ofrivillig

öppning före transport.
Se till att det inte finns några hinder på trans-

portsträckan.
Använd lyfttransportören för möbler endast på

jämna ytor.
Rikta transporthörnen under möbeln så att

hjulen pekar i samma riktning.
Låt inte barn och personer som måste hållas

under uppsikt hantera lyfttransportören för

möbler utan uppsikt. De har svårt för att riktigt

förstå möjliga risker.
