Keep the operating instructions and give them
to each user of the multiple socket. For the
use of the multiple socket observe the safety
instructions contained in the operating instructions.
For questions on spare parts or repairs please
contact the manufacturer.

Danger to life from electric shock
Do not touch damaged, exposed or energized parts. Danger from electric shock
Make sure you check the multiple socket

for damages before use. Do not use the
multiple socket if the cable insulations or
the casing are damaged.
CAUTION
Devices switching on accidentally
When switching on the multiple socket, the
connected devices might accidentally switch
on.
Before switching on or off the multiple

socket, make sure you disconnect all the
connected devices.
To avoid danger, a damaged connec-

ting line of the multiple socket should be
replaced by the manufacturer, by a Service
representative or a skilled technician only.
Do not manipulate or alter the multiple

socket.
Repairs should be performed by a skilled

technician only.
Keep the multiple socket away from child-

ren.

INTENDED USE
The multiple socket should be used in dry
rooms, exclusively for private purposes. Do not
use near liquids that might leak or spout (e.g.
aquarium).
Any other use is not permitted.

FUNCTIONALITY
The multiple socket is equipped with an overvoltage protection device. The overvoltage protection device prevents the devices connected
to the multiple socket from being damaged by
overvoltage in the main supply.
Overvoltages are caused, for instance, by
indirect lighting strikes or by the activation of
other electrical appliances (monitors, ovens,
lamps, etc.).
For a correct operation, the multiple socket
should be connected to a socket with a professionally installed protective conductor.
The overvoltage protection is active if the control light 2 is on.
In case of failure of the overvoltage protection
device, the control light goes out.
If the earth control light 3 is on, the earth circuit
is connected properly to the socket.
If the earth control light is not on, please allow
your electrical installation to be inspected by an
expert.
