Symptom: How to initialize and setup Test Tone

Solution:

Operational Notes.

1. Sometimes a customer may mention that a SETUP TEST TONE is not working or

is not available. This is true since the owners manual does not specifically mention, that the input that supports digital (V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6 T1, T1, and CD) must be selected and set to a digital (optical/Coax) input mode. From then on proceed with the rest test mode as described in the manual. The above statement is applicable to units with a system MICRO labeled as 1042 131A with sub 1043 131A or Main 1042 225A with Sub 1043 225A.

2. Rest of this unit is made while holding the CD button, press the Video-1 button at

the same time. Clear will display momentarily and unit will turn off power.
