These short instructions are not a substitute for the Operating instructions supplied with the appliance.
Please read the Operating instructions supplied with your Washer-dryer before using it for the first time and take note of the Warning and Safety instructions as well as the full descriptions on how to use your machine.

Note To prevent laundry from drying out, it should be rolled up until

iron programmes. Sort according to colour.
Extra options Thermospin
Freshen up Max. load: 1.0 kg*
Fabric type Freshly washed and spun garments or dry garments, or briefly
worn but unsoiled garments.
Notes – Water is added to the laundry at the beginning of the
programme to reduce creasing.
– Select Water plus for particularly absorbent fabrics.
Select: Normal: The garments are needed immediately.
Hand iron rr: The garments are to be ironed or hung on a
line to dry.
Timed drying: Check the items as you are drying them to find the optimum time.
Note
Creasing increases with larger loads and longer drying times.
Smoothing / Easy care Max. load: 2.5 kg*
Fabric type Cotton and linen fabrics. Minimum iron items made of cotton,
synthetic or mixed fibres.
Notes
Water is added to the laundry at the beginning of the programme to reduce creasing.
The garments are not completely dried to make ironing easier.
Remove garments immediately at the end of the programme.
Select Water plus for particularly absorbent fabrics.

Brief instructions
A Prepare the laundry
Empty all pockets.
^
Foreign objects (e.g. nails,
,
coins, paper clips, etc.) can cause damage to garments and components in the machine.
Sort the laundry by colour and by
^
care label. Most garments have a textile care label in the collar or side seam.
B Switch on the washer-dryer
C Select a programme
^
Select a programme. The display will show the selected programme.
After selecting Further programmes/Settings, other programmes will appear in the display.
Separate washing
Press Washing/Drying button
^
repeatedly until only the Washing indicator light is lit up.
D Select a temperature / spin speed
Change the temperature with X or Y
^
and confirm with OK .
Change the highlighted spin speed
^
with X or Y or select No spin (without .).
E Selecting Extra options
Use the buttons to select Short or
^
Water plus.
^ If required, select Further extras or
Stains.
F Load the washer-dryer
^ Press the Door button and open the
door.
The display shows the amount of laundry loaded in the drum asa%(in 25% steps) of the maximum load permissible for the programme selected.

Unfold the laundry and load loosely in the drum.
Make sure that no garments are caught between the drum door and seal.

Shut the door with a gentle swing.
G Add detergent
Separate drying
The display will then change to the screen for the detergent percentage.
Detergent

The percentage shown relates to the amount of detergent recommended by the manufacturer on the packaging.
^ Pull out the detergent drawer and
place detergent in the compartments.

including Soak if selected

H Select Delay start (if required)
I Start the programme

Press the flashing Start/Stop button.
J Remove the laundry when the
programme has finished.
If you have washed with the maximum load and wish to tumble dry your laundry afterwards, you have to halve the load.
Press Washing/Drying button
^
repeatedly until only the Drying indicator light is lit up.
Do not tumble dry loopknit garments! Spin the garments for at least 30 seconds after washing.
D Select drying level/thermospin
^ Change the drying level with X or Y
and confirm with OK.
^ Change the highlighted thermospin
speed with X or Y.
E Select Low temperature (if
required)
F Load the washer-dryer
^
Press the Door button and open the door.
^
Load the loose laundry in the drum.
Do not exceed the maximum level mark.
G Shut the door
Make sure that no garments are caught between the drum door and seal.
Take note of the section "After each washing or drying programme".
H Start the programme
Press the flashing Start/Stop button.
^
I Remove the laundry when the
programme has finished.
Take note of the section "After each washing or drying programme".
Make sure that objects e.g.
,
detergent dispensing balls have been removed from the laundry. They could melt and cause damage to the dryer or the laundry.
Rinse out fluff programme
The fluff which occurs during drying can collect in the drum and also in the suds container. It is best to rinse out this fluff before the machine is used again so that it cannot be deposited on the next load (e.g. fluff from dark garments being deposited on lighter coloured items) or cause a blockage.

Switch on the machine and turn the programme selector to the Rinse out fluff programme.
If there is a lot of fluff in the machine, select the Water plus Extra option.
^
Press the flashing Start/Stop button.
^
Remove any fluff remaining from around the door seal and porthole glass.
Washing and drying without interruption
Press Washing/Drying button
^
repeatedly until Washing and Drying indicator lights are lit up.
D Select wash temperature, spin
speed and drying level
Change these settings with X or Y
^
and confirm with OK .
E Selecting Extra options
Select Extra options, Stains, Low
^
temperature.
F Load the washer-dryer
^ Open the door and put the laundry in
the drum.
^ Take note of the load size indicator.
G Shut the door
Make sure that no garments are caught between the drum door and seal.
H Add detergent
^
Observe the recommended amount of detergent.
I Switch on Delay start
J Start the programme
^
Press the flashing Start/Stop button.
K Remove the laundry when the
programme has finished.
Take note of the section "After each washing or drying programme".
After each washing or drying programme
Press the Door button and open the
^
door fully.
Caution, the metal cap located
,
on the inside of the door glass is very hot after drying. Do not touch
it. It will be hot. Danger of burning!
Remove the laundry.
^
Check the folds in the door seal for
^
any small articles, e.g. buttons, which might be lodged there.
^ Remove any fluff remaining from
around the door seal and porthole glass after drying.
Check that all items have been removed from the drum. Items left behind could colour run, shrink or be damaged in the next washing or drying programme.
Important! Always remove the laundry before switching the machine off. This is important to ensure that the load size indicator works correctly.

Switch off the washer-dryer.
^
Shut the door.

The figure quoted in the tub is the maximum temperature the garment can be washed at.
