Entsorgung der Transportverpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recycelbar.
Das Rückführen der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Ihr Fachhändler nimmt die Verpackung zurück.
Entsorgung des Altgerätes
Altgeräte enthalten vielfach noch wertvolle Materialien. Geben Sie deshalb Ihr Altgerät entweder über ihren Händler oder über das öffentliche Sammelsystem in den Materialkreislauf zurück. Bitte sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Altgerät bis zum Abtransport kindersicher aufbewahrt wird.

Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam durch, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen.
Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für die Aufstellung, die Sicherheit, den Gebrauch und die Wartung des Geräts. Dadurch schützen Sie sich und vermeiden Schäden an dem Gerät. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig auf und geben Sie sie einem eventuellen Nachbesitzer weiter!
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
~ Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise der Maschinen, an die die DOS-Mo- dule angeschlossen werden.
Technische Sicherheit
~ Kontrollieren Sie den G 7896 DOSSchrank vor der Aufstellung auf äußere sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät auf keinen Fall in Betrieb. Ein beschädigtes Gerät kann Ihre Sicherheit gefährden!
~Der G 7896 DOS-Schrank darf nur durch den Miele Kundendienst, einen autorisierten Miele Fachhändler oder eine entsprechend qualifizierte Fachkraft in Betrieb genommen werden.
~Ein beschädigter G 7896 DOSSchrank kann Ihre Sicherheit gefährden. Gerät sofort außer Betrieb setzen und den Miele Kundendienst, einen autorisierten Miele Fachhändler oder eine entsprechend qualifizierte Fachkraft informieren.
~Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Miele-Originalteile augetauscht werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen gewährleistet der Hersteller, dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllen.
Sachgemäßer Gebrauch
~Vorsicht beim Umgang mit flüssigen Hilfsmitteln/Additiven! Es handelt sich dabei zum Teil um ätzende und reizende Stoffe. Auf keinen Fall organische Lösemittel verwenden, da u. a. Explosionsgefahr besteht!
Die geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften beachten! Schutzbrille und Handschuhe benutzen!
~Achten Sie darauf, daß die Edel- stahl-Außenverkleidung nicht mit salzsäurehaltigen Lösungen/Dämpfen in Kontakt kommt, um Korrosionsschäden zu vermeiden.

~Eine Reparatur des G 7896 DOSSchranks während der Garantiezeit darf nur von einem vom Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst vorgenommen werden, sonst besteht bei nachfolgenden Schäden kein Garantieanspruch mehr.
~Dieses Zubehörteil darf nur an Geräte angeschlossen werden, die von Miele zugelassen sind.
Kanister rechtzeitig nachfüllen oder austauschen und zwar dann, wenn die DOS-Kontrollampe aufleuchtet. Sie befindet sich an der Bedienungsblende der Maschine, an die das DOS-Modul angeschlossen wird.
Kinder im Umfeld
~Wenn Sie den Schrank später verschrotten müssen, entfernen Sie aus Gründen der Kindersicherheit und des Umweltschutzes alle Spülmittelreste.
~Beaufsichtigen Sie Kinder, die sich in der Nähe des G 7896 DOS-Schranks aufhalten. Lassen Sie Kinder nie mit dem Gerät spielen.
~Kinder dürfen den G 7896 DOSSchrank nur ohne Aufsicht benutzen, wenn ihnen die Bedienung des Geräts so erklärt wurde, dass sie das Gerät sicher bedienen können. Kinder müssen mögliche Gefahren einer falschen Bedienung erkennen können.
Vor einem Medienwechsel die einzelnen Komponenten der DOS-Mo- dule ausspülen, um die Bildung pastöser bis geleeähnlicher Rückstände zu vermeiden, die die Schläuche verstopfen können.
Sachgemäße Aufstellung
~Das Gerät darf nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen aufgestellt werden.
~Der Einbau und die Montage dieses Gerätes an nichtstationären Aufstellungsorten (z.B. Schiffe) dürfen nur von Fachbetrieben / Fachleuten durchgeführt werden, wenn sie die Voraussetzungen für den sicherheitsgerechten Gebrauch dieses Gerätes sicherstellen.
~ Erlauben Sie kleinen Kindern nicht, mit dem Gerät zu spielen bzw. ihn zu bedienen. Es besteht u. a. die Gefahr, dass sich Kinder in dem Gerät einschließen!
Der Hersteller kann nicht für Schäden verantwortlich gemacht werden, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch verursacht werden.

Der G 7896 DOS-Schrank dient zur Unterbringung von DOS-Modulen. DOS-Module sind externe Dosiersysteme für die automatische Dosierung von flüssigen Medien.
Bei einer Kanistergröße von 5 l können bis zu vier Dosiersysteme in den Schrank eingebaut werden. Bei der Verwendung größer Kanister ist es nötig, die Körbe herauszunehmen.
Der Einbau der DOS-Module erfolgt durch den Miele Kundendienst.
Kennzeichnen Sie beim Einbau mehrerer DOS-Module die einzelnen Komponenten zur besseren Unterscheidung mit den beiliegenden Klebeschildern.
^Vordertür entfernen, dazu Tür öffnen und aushängen (Abb. 1).
^Entriegelung drücken, um die Schubladen mit den Kanistern herausbzw. hereinzuschieben (Abb. 2).
^Zur Einstellung der DOS-Module obere Schublade herausziehen (Abb. 3).
^Auffangschalen von Zeit zu Zeit herausnehmen und reinigen (Abb. 3).

Disposal of the packingmaterial
The packaging is designed to protect the appliance during transportation. It has been selected from materials that are environmentally friendly for disposal and that can be recycled.
Recycling saves on the use of raw materials and reduces the amount of waste going to landfill.
Ensure that any plastic wrappings, bags etc. are disposed of safely and kept out of the reach of babies and young children. Danger of suffocation. Depending on country, your dealer may also be able to take packaging back from you.
Disposal of your old appliance
Electrical and electronic appliances often contain materials which, if handled or disposed of incorrectly could be potentially hazardous to human health and to the environment. They are, however, essential for the correct
functioning of your appliance. Please do not therefore dispose of your old appliance with your general waste. Please dispose of it at your local community waste collection / recycling centre or contact your dealer for advice. Please ensure that it presents no danger to children while being stored for disposal.

The DOS G 7896 unit complies with all relevant safety requierments. Incorrect use can, however, lead to personal injury and damage to property.
To avoid the risk of accidents and damage to the appliance please read these instructions carefully before starting to use it.
They contain important notes on the installation, safety, operation and maintenance of the appliance. Keep these instructions in a safe place for reference, and pass them on to any future user.
Correct application
~ Please read the instruction book for the machine that this DOS unit is connected to.
Technical safety
~The DOS G 7896 unit must be checked for any visible damage before it is installed. Do not install and use a damaged appliance. A damaged appliance is dangerous.
~The DOS G 7896 unit should be commissioned and then maintained only by a Miele authorised and trained service technician or other suitably qualified and competent approved person.
~A damaged DOS G 7896 unit is dangerous. Switch off at the mains immediately and call the Miele Service Department or an authorised Miele Service Dealer.
~ Faulty components must only be replaced by genuine Miele original parts. The manufacturer can only guarantee the safety of the appliance when Miele replacement parts are used.
Correct use
~Take great care when handling liquid agents and additives. These may contain irritant or corrosive ingredients. Do not use organic solvents as these could cause an explosion.
Follow all relevant safety procedures carefully. Wear protective gloves and goggles.
~Ensure that solutions or steam containing hydrochloric acid do not come into contact with the steel outer casing, to avoid any corrosion damage.
~While the appliance is under guarantee, repairs should only be undertaken by a service technician authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise the guarantee will be invalidated.
~This accessory must only be used in conjunction with machines specified by Miele as being suitable for such use.

The containers should be refilled or replaced by new ones in good time. The DOS indicator lamp will come on to remind you when this needs to be done. The DOS indicator lamp is located on the control panel of the machine to which this unit is connected.
If you need to use the DOS unit for a different medium you must make sure that all individual components of the DOS modules are thoroughly rinsed out beforehand. Otherwise there is a danger of hoses getting clogged up by the build-up of viscous or pasty residues.
Installation
~Do not install the DOS unit and the machine to which it is connected in an area where there is a danger of explosion.
~The DOS unit and machine to which it is connected may only be used in mobile installations such as ships if a risk assessment of the installation has been carried out by a suitably qualified engineer.
Safety with children
~Should this unit ever require disposal ensure that all residual cleaning agents are flushed out beforehand to protect both the environment and children.
~To avoid the risk of injury, keep children away from the DOS G 7896 unit and the machine to which it is connected at all times. Do not allow them to play with it or to use the controls. They will not understand the potential dangers posed by it. There is a danger they could injure themselves or get into the machine and lock themselves in.
~Older children may only use DOS G 7896 unit and the machine to which is connected when its operation has been clearly explained to them and they are able to use it safely, recognising the dangers of misuse. They must be aware of the potential
dangers caused by incorrect operation.
The manufacturer cannot accept liability for damage resulting from improper use or operation.

The DOS G 7896 unit is designed as a housing unit for storing DOS modules. DOS modules are external dispensing systems for automatically dispensing the correct amount of liquid media.
Up to four 5 litre dispenser system containers can be housed in the unit. With larger containers the baskets will have to be taken out.
The DOS modules have to be installed and connected by a suitably qualifed
Miele service technician.
When connecting several DOS modules you should use the labels supplied to make identification of individual components easier.
^Open and pull the door forward as shown in illustration 1 to remove it.
^Press the catch to pull out the drawers holding the containers and to push them back in again. See illustration 2.
^To set the DOS modules pull out the top drawer as shown in illustration 3.
^The drip tray should be removed and cleaned from time to time. See illustration 3.

~ Remplacez les pièces défectueuses uniquement par des pièces détachées d'origine Miele. Ces pièces sont les seules dont le fabricant garantit qu'elles remplissent les conditions de sécurité.
Utilisation et installation
~Faites attention lors de la manipulations de produits additifs liquides. Il s'agit pour certains de produits caustiques et irritants. N'utilisez en aucun cas de solvants organiques qui peuvent provoquer des risques d'explosion. Respectez les prescriptions de sécurité correspondantes. Portez des lunettes et des gants de protection !
~Veillez à ne pas mettre la carrosserie en inox en contact avec des solvants/vapeurs contenant de l'acide chlorhydrique pour éviter tout risque de corrosion.
Sécurité technique
~Vérifiez que votre appareil ne présente pas de dommages extérieurs. Ne mettez jamais un appareil endommagé en service. Un appareil endommagé peut mettre votre sécurité en péril.
~Le G 7896 DOS ne doit être mis en service et entretenu que par le SAV Miele, un revendeur agréé ou un technicien qualifié.
~Un G 7896 DOS endommagé peut engendrer des risques pour votre sécurité. Débranchez immédiatement l'appareil et contactez le SAV Miele, un revendeur agréé ou un technicien qualifié.
~La réparation du G 7896 DOS pendant la période de garantie doit être effectuée exclusivement par un Service Après Vente agréé par le fabricant, sinon vous perdrez le bénéfice de la garantie en cas de pannes ultérieures.
~Cet équipement ne doit être raccordé qu'à des appareils autorisés par Miele.

Remplissez ou remplacez les bidons à temps, à savoir dès que la diode DOS s'allume. Celle-ci se trouve sur le bandeau de commande de la machine à laquelle est raccordée le module DOS.
Rincez bien les modules DOS avant de changer de produits afin d'éviter la formation de résidus pâteux ou gélifiés qui peuvent obstruer les tuyaux.
Installation adéquate
~N'installez pas cet appareil dans des locaux menacés de risques d'explosion.
~Le montage et la mise en service de cet appareil sur des unités mobiles (des bateaux par exemple) ne peuvent être effectués que par des entreprises spécialisées ou des professionnels, en veillant à ce que les conditions de sécurité nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de l'appareil soient réunies.
Enfants
~Si vous devez vous débarrasser ultérieurement de l'armoire, jetez tous les résidus de produits pour assurer la sécurité des enfants et protéger l'environnement.
~Surveillez les enfants lorsqu'ils se tiennent à proximité de l'appareil. Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec cet appareil.
~Les enfants sont autorisés à utiliser l'appareil sans surveillance uniquement si vous leur avez expliqué comment le manipuler sans danger. Ils doivent être conscients des risques encourus en cas de mauvaise manipulation.
~Empêchez les petits enfants de jouer avec l'appareil ou d'en faire usage. Ils pourraient en effet s'y enfermer !
Le fabricant ne peut être tenu pour responsable de dommages causés par une utilisation inappropriée de l'appareil.

L'armoire pour doseurs DOS G 7896 sert à loger les modules DOS qui sont des systèmes externes assurant le dosage automatique de produits liquides.
Cette armoire permet de loger jusqu'à 4 systèmes de dosage pour des bidons de 5 l. En cas d'utilisation de bidons plus grands, il faudra retirer les paniers.
Le montage des modules DOS s'effectue par le revendeur ou le SAV Miele.
En cas de montage de plusieurs modules DOS identifiez les différents composants pour mieux les différencier en utilisant les étiquettes fournies.
^Enlevez la façade en ouvrant et en décrochant la porte (croquis 1).
^Appuyez sur le déverrouillage pour sortir et repousser les tiroirs recevant les bidons (croquis 2).
^Sortez le tiroir supérieur pour régler les modules DOS (croquis 3).
^Retirez régulièrement les bacs pour les nettoyer (croquis 3).

Smaltimento dell'imballaggio
L'imballaggio serve a proteggere l'apparecchio durante il trasporto. I materiali usati per l'imballaggio sono stati selezionati secondo criteri ecologici e sono riciclabili.
Riciclare i componenti consente da un lato di risparmiare materie prime e dall'altro di ridurre il volume dei rifiuti. Utilizzare il servizio di raccolta differenziata.
Quando si dismette l'apparecchio
Il vecchio apparecchio può contenere sostanze ancora preziose. Immettere quindi l'apparecchio dismesso nel circuito di recupero presso il Vostro rivenditore o presso i centri pubblici di raccolta. Conservare l'apparecchio dismesso in un luogo sicuro, fuori della portata dei bambini.
