Preparation
Fill the water

Pre-heat the cup

with hot water.

Fill a stainless

steel jug one third
full with cold,

milk.

circles until a
thick froth has
built up. Then
lower the spout
deeper into the
milk to heat it up.
Do not let the

milk boil!
Select steam and

back to 0.

Position the steam

spout in the jug

Important maintenance tips
N.B.: To ensure this appliance functions correctly, it is essential to maintain and
clean it as instructed in the operating instructions and in the video supplied with
your machine using the cleaning / descaling agents supplied with the machine *.
Failure to do so can result in poor quality coffee, bacterial contamination and in
extreme cases can lead to malfunction of the appliance.
Replacements are available to order through your Dealer or the Miele Spare Parts Dept.

Before use:
It is very important to programme the water hardness

level into the machine to prevent limescale building up
too quickly. See "Programming the appliance" section on
"Setting the water hardness".

any dry coffee

Flush out all traces of descaling agent:

Empty out
containers and
place back under
the spouts.

Your machine is now descaled,
rinsed and ready to use again.

Let all the water
empty out of the
machine.
