hile powered home theater subwoofers are excellent, the

HT-12 passive subwoofer gives the dedicated home theater
enthusiast the added ability to select the quality and power of the
amplifier. This 12" design uses a high efficiency driver so that even
the smallest McIntosh amp can drive it to room-filling sonics. The
patented LD/HP

®

magnet structure design reduces the driver's dis­tortion, while improving both efficiency and power handing. The
driver in the HT-12 can easily handle up to 400 watts. Capable of
powerful bass output across a range from 29Hz to 500Hz, the
McIntosh HT-12 will provide the kind of chest pounding founda­tion on which a modern digital soundtrack is often built. Paired
