High Altitude Notice: Thespecified gasburner ratings

typically apply to elevations up to 2000 feet. For higher altitudes, the ratesmay need to be reducedtoachieve

satisfactory operation.A local certified gasservicer wi!! be ab!eto advise if a reductionis necessarY.

Arisk of range tip-over exists if the appliance is not installedin accordancewith the providedinstallationinstructions. Theproper use of the ANTI-TIPdeviceminimizes the risk ofTIP-OVER.Inusing this device the consumermust still observe the safety precautions as stated in the USEand CAREMANUALand avoid usingthe ovendoors as a step stool. Installationinstructions are providedfor wood and cement

in either floor or wall. Anyother type of construction may require special installationtechniques as deemednecessaryto provide adequatefastening of the ANTI-TIPbracket to the floor or wall. The

Requirementsfor PropaneAppliancesand Equipmentin R.V.'s(CSA StandardCAN/CSA- Z240 RVSeries).

Electrical Supply Connection Therange requires 120volts,60 cycle alternating current from a

dedicated groundedoutlet with a 15 ampcircuit breaker.Seeserial platefor rating,located on flip-up plate at the rear of upperleft-hand corner of backguard.User may experienceoccasional circuit tripping if

GroundFault Circuit Interrupter (GFCl)outlet or breaker is in use.

installedwithin the CommonwealthofMassachusetts.A "T" handle typemanualgasvalvemustbe installedin thegas supplylinetothis

appliance.A flexiblegasconnector,when used,mustnotexceeda lengthofthree(3)feet / 36 inches.

Gas leaks mayoccurin yoursystemand result in a dangerous

situation. Gasleaks may not be detectedby smell alone. Gas suppliers recommendyou purchaseand install an ULapproved

gas detector.Install and use in accordancewith manufacturerls

instructions.

A QUALIFIED SERVICEMAN OR GAS APPLIANCE INSTALLER

MUST MAKE THEGAS SUPPLYCONNECTION.Leak testing of the appliance shall be conducted by the installer according to the

instructions given in Step 6.

Applya non-corrosiveleak detection fluid to all joints and fittings in the gas connectionbetween the supplyline shut-off valve and the range.Include gasfittings and joints inthe rangeif connections were disturbed during installation. Checkfor leaks! Bubblesappearing aroundfittings and connectionswill indicatea leak. If a leak appears, turn off supplyline gasshut-off valve,tighten connections,turn on the supply line gasshut off valve,andretest for leaks.

CAUTION:NEVERCHECK FORLEAKSWITH A FLAME. WHEN LEAKCHECKIS COMPLETE,WIPE OFFALL RESIDUE.

A GASSHUT-OFFVALVESHOULDBEPUTINANACCESSIBLELOCATION

INTHESUPPLYLINEAHEADOFTHERANGE,FORTURNINGONAND TURNINGOFFGASSUPPLY.Rangeis to be connectedto house piping with flexible metal connectorsfor gasappliances. CONNECTORNUTS

MUSTNOTBECONNECTEDDIRECTLYTOPIPETHREADS.THE

CONNECTORSMUSTBEINSTALLEDWITHADAPTORSPROVIDEDWITH THECONNECTOR.

Thehouse piping and/or rangeconnector used to connect the range to the main gas supply must beclean, free of metal shavings,rust, dirt and liquids (oil or water). Dirt,etc. in the supply lines canwork its way

intothe range manifold and in turn cause failure of the gas valvesor controls and clog burners and/or pilot orifices.

Alwaysuse anew flexible connector.Do not use exsisting flexible connector.

Follow these procedures to remove appliance for servicing:

1. Slide rangeforward to disengagerangefrom the anti-tip bracket.

2. Shut off gassupply to appliance.

3. Disconnectelectricalsupply to appliance,if equipped.

4. Disconnectgas supply tubingtoappliance.

5. Reverseprocedureto reinstall. If gaslinehasbeendisconnected, THE APPLIANCE checkfor gas leaksafter reconnection.

6.Toprevent rangefrom accidentallytipping,range mustbe securedto thefloor by sliding rearlevelinglegintothe anti-tip bracket.

NOTE:A qualified servicer should disconnect and reconnect the gas supply. Theservicer MUSTfollow installation instructions provided with the gas appliance connector andthe warning label attachedto the connector.

Whenyour rangerequires service or replacement parts,contact your dealer or authorized service agency.Pleasegive the complete model and serial number of the range which is locatedon flip-up plate at the rear of upperleft-hand corner or center of backguard.
