Configurable Pattern Cinema Surround Loudspeaker
SPECSHEET
Description:
Today’s immersive cinema systems can place sounds at any location in the theatre by routing unique content to each speaker—front, rear, ceiling
and sides. This requires surround speakers to be just as capable as screen array speakers and use technology not available in traditional surrounds.
To deliver a surround speaker more than worthy of today’s immersive systems, HARMAN engineered the JBL9350 Cinema Surround Loudspeaker—a
high-efficiency, high-output 3-way system with configurable coverage patterns, a 15” Differential Drive woofer, Acoustic Divider Waveguide and Dual
The 9350 packs a sonic punch and delivers extraordinary sound quality and coverage through its advanced engineering, including three patent-
pending JBL technologies. Each loudspeaker generates a sculpted coverage pattern, selectable with the flick of a switch, to provide the appropriate
coverage when mounted as a side or rear surround. The 9350 further enhances sound quality and coverage thanks to its advanced waveguide and wall
decoupling features. And the optimized built-in passive crossover network means that only one amplifier channel is required for each loudspeaker.
The result? Premium performance, broader coverge and outstanding left/right balance—an accomplishment unheard of in cinema. The sonic sweet spot
just got a whole lot bigger, and that detailed, impactful sound now fully immerses every seat in the theatre, for an audio experience like no other. The
9350 is the ideal complement to screen array loudspeakers, for a dynamic and immersive sonic performance that excites.

spectrum extremes
Acoustic Divider Waveguide:
- Greatly improves midrange performance of the 15” Differential Drive®
woofer
- Provides smooth crossover transition by using very tight driver spacing and

Bi-pole wall decoupling
- Creates a low frequency acoustic bi-pole using the Acoustic Divider
Waveguide
- Reduces wall reflection notching typical of surrounds by shaping rear
hemisphere energy
