Introduction

The IF-4 is a dual emitter assembly, that contains two small infrared
LEDs housed in miniature, black, injection moulded plastic shells.

They emit control signals in the form of invisible infrared (IR) light
when activated by IR commands sent to it by IR receivers or other
Jamo controllers.

They are designed to be installed directly on the IR sensor windows
of a controlled device (ea. a CD player).

INSTALLATION

Attaching the emitters to IR sensor windows.
The emitters have clear adhesive layers on the bottom flat surfaces
of the shells. The rounded sides face the user and emits invisible IR
light as well as the flat surfaces when a command is sent. Simply
peel off the protective covers and affix the emitters to the IR sensor
windows on the controlled devices front panels.

In some cases it may be difficult to find the location of the IR sensors
on the devices. Consult the owners manual of such units, or the
manufacturers, for the exact IR window locations.
