Tip:

To skip ahead 24 hours in the Program Guide, press the SKIP FWD

button on the remote. To back up 24 hours, press the SKIP BACK button.

Tip:

To watch the same program on both TV1 and TV2, place your

receiver in Single Mode. To watch different programs on TV1 and TV2,
place your receiver in Dual Mode. Use the MODE button on the front
panel of the receiver to toggle between Dual and Single mode.

Tip:

Some receiver problems can be resolved by pressing and holding

the POWER button on the front of the receiver until the front panel lights
go out and come back on. After releasing the POWER button, the
receiver will return to normal operation within a few minutes.

Check to make sure your TV is set to the correct
channel or input. Refer to the "How to Watch TV
on TV1" section in this guide for the correct TV
setup or use the RECOVER button on the remote
control.

You can only view Picture-In-Picture when in Single
Mode. Press the MODE button on the front of your
receiver so that the Single Mode light is on, then
use the blue PICTURE-IN-PICTURE buttons as
desired.

Try pressing the SAT Mode button.
Check to make sure you are using the correct
remote (TV1 or TV2) for the desired location.
Your remote control batteries may need to be
replaced (alkaline batteries are recommended).
Check the remote address (see User's Guide).

Look for obstructions in front of your satellite dish
such as new tree or plant growth.
Severe weather can disrupt satellite signal for a
short period of time.
Remove snow and ice from the dish to avoid
signal loss.
Make sure all cable connections to your receiver
and dish are tightly secure.
If you are still experiencing signal interruptions,
contact Customer Assistance. Press the SYSTEM
INFO button on the front of your receiver and call
the Technical Assistance phone number shown
on the screen.

Keeping your phone line connected to the receiver
enables you to take advantage of interactive TV
services, Customer Support, or Caller ID. It will also
allow you to use your remote control to order Pay­Per-View events or movies. And, you will not be
charged a Programming Access Fee.

You may have a Favorites List active that does
not include those channels. Repeatedly press
the GUIDE button and cycle through the
Favorites Lists until you find a list that contains
those channels. Also check to see if those
channels are locked (see User's Guide

).

Using the Recover ButtonUsing the Recover Button

Use the Recover button to get back to watching satellite programming

if you accidentally change channels or inputs on your TV
