A. Water soener
The water soener must be set manually, using the water hardness dial. The water soener is designed to remove minerals and salts from the water, which could have a detrimental or adverse effect on the operaon of the appliance. The higher the content of these minerals and salts, the harder your water is. The soener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Your local Water Authority can advise you
on the hardness of the water in your area.
Adjusng salt consumpon
The dishwasher is designed to allow for adjustment in the amount of salt consumed based on the hardness of the water used. This is intended to opmise the level of salt consumpon.
To set the salt consumpon, please proceed as below:
1. Switch on the appliance;
2. Press the Start/Pause buon for more than 5 seconds to start the water soener set model within 60 seconds aer the appliance was switched on;

*** WATER SOFTENER
The hardness of the water varies from place to place. If hard water is used in the dishwasher, deposits may form on the dishes and utensils. The appliance is equipped with a special soener that uses a salt specifically
designed to eliminate lime and minerals from the water.

B. Loading the Salt into the soener
Always use the salt intended for use with dishwasher. The salt container is located beneath the lower basket and should be filled as follows:
Aenon
Only use salt specifically designed for the use in dishwashers! Every other type of salt not specifically designed for the use in a
dishwasher, especially table salt, will damage the water soener. In case of damages caused by the use of unsuitable salt the
manufacturer does not give any warranty nor is liable for any damages caused.
Only fill with salt just before starng one of the complete washing programs. This will prevent any grains of salt or salty water,
which may have been spilled, remaining on the boom of the machine for any period of me, which may cause corrosion.
Step 1. Step 2.
Open
Remove the lower basket and then, unscrew
and remove the cap from the salt container.
When you opened the cap(STEP 1.),
Place the end of the funnel(supplied) into the hole in order to avoid spilling the water and salt.
Step 4.

If you are filling the container for the first me, fill 2/3 of its volume with water(around 1 litre).
Step 3.
If you are filling the container for the first me, fill 1.5kg of salt.
**It is normal for small amount of water
to come out of the salt container.
***Please note,
The salt container must be refilled when the salt warning light on the control panel comes on. Although the salt container is filled enough, the indicator light may not switch off unl the salt fully dissilves. If lots of salt is spilt inside of dishwasher, run a pre-wash program to reduce the spillage.

C. Fill the rinse aid dispenser
Rinse aid is automacally added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, and spot and streak free drying.
Aenon
Only use the RINSE AID specifically designed for the use in dishwashers! Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other
substances (e.g. dishwasher cleaning agent, liquid detergent.). This would be damage the appliance.
When you refill the rinse aid dispenser
If there is no rinse aid warning light on the control panel, you can always esmate the amount from the colour of opcal level indicator located next to the cap. When the rinse aid container is full, the whold indicator will be dark. As the rinse aid dimimishes, the size of the dark dot decreases. You should never let the rinse aid level fall 1/4 full.

spot-free. The recommended seng is "4".(Factory value is "4".)
D. Funcon of detergent
Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt, crush dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher. Most of the commercial quality detergents are suitable for this purpose.
Aenon
• Dishwasher detergent is corrosive! take cake to keep it out of reach of children.
Only use the detergent specifically designed for the use in dishwashers! Keep your detergent fresh and dry. Do not put
the powder detergent into the dispenser unl you are ready to wash dishes.
Concentrated detergent
Based on their chemical composion, detergents can be split in two basic types:
- convenonal, alkaline detergents with causc components
- low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes
The use of “ normal” washing programs in conjuncon with concentrated detergents reduces polluon and is good for your dishes; these wash programmes are specially matched to the dirt-dissolving properes of the enzymes of the concentrated detergent. For this reason “normal” wash programmes in which concentrated detergents are used can acheive the same results that can otherwise only be achieved using “ intensive” programmes.
Detergent tablets
Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different speeds. For this reason some detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop their full cleaning power during short programs. Therefore please use long programs when using detergent tablets, to
ensure the complete removal of detergent residuals.
Detergent dispenser
The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instrucons provided in the wash cycle table . Your dishwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid than Convenonal dishwasher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. More heavily soiled items need more detergent. Always add the detergent just before starng
the dishwasher, otherwise it could get damp and will not dissolve properly.

Loading the dishwasher racks
12
For the best performance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines. Features and appearance of racks and silver ware baskets may vary from your model.
Aenon
Scrape off any large amounts of leover food. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water. Place objects in the
dishwasher in the following order:
1. Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. are stood upside down.
2. Curved items, or those with recesses, should be at a slant so that water can run off.
3. They are stacked securely and can not p over.
4. They do not prevent the spray arms from rotang while washing takes place. Very small items should not be washed in the
dishwasher as they could easily fall out of the racks.
* Removing the dishes
To prevent water dripping from the upper basket into the lower basket, we recommend that you empty the lower basket first
ans thenm, the upper basket.
Loading the upper basket
The upper basket is designed to hold more delicate and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee and tea cups and saucers, as
well as plates, small bowls and shallow pans (as long as they are
not too dirty). Posion the dishes and cookware so that they
will not get moved by the spray of water. Always place glasses , mugs and bowls upside down.
Loading the lower basket
We suggest that you place large items and the most difficult to
clean items are to be placed into the lower basket: such as pots, pans, lids, serving dishes and bowls, as shown in the
figure below. It is preferable to place serving dishes and lids on the side of the racks in order to avoid blocking the rotaon
of the top spray arm. Also long items, serving cutlery, salad servers and big knives should be placed on the shelf so that
they do not obstruct the rotaon of the spay arms.

***Please note,
Do not try and wash items soiled with cigaree ash, candle wax, lacquer or paint. If you buy new dishes please make sure that
they are suitable for dishwashers.
Please do not overload your dishwasher. There is only space for 14 standard dishes.
Do not use dishes that are not suitable for dishwashers. You should check thesuitability of dishes/cutlery before loading them as manufactuer do not cover of the damage of dishes/cutlery.
Dishes and cutlery must not impede the rotaon of the spray arms.
Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. with the openning downwards so that water cannot collect
in the container or a deep base.
• Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other
- To avoid damage to glasses, they must not touch.
- Load large items which are most difficult to clean into the lower rack.
- The upper rack is designed to hold more delicate and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee and tea mugs.
• Long bladed knives stored in an upright posion are a potenal hazard! Long and/or sharp items of cutlery such as carving knives mush be posioned horizontally in the upper basket.

Cleaning the filter
Filtering System
For your convenience, we have placed the drain pump and filtering system within easy reach inside the tub. There are three components of the filtering system.
1. Main filter
Food and soil parcles trapped in this filter are pulverized by a special jet
on the lower spray arm and washed down to drain.
2. Coarse filter
Larger items, such as pieces of bone or glass, that could clog the drain are trapped in the coarse filter. To remove an items caught in this filter, gently squeeze the tap on the top of this filter and li it out.
3. Fine filter
This filter holds soil and food residues in the sump area and prevents it
from being redeposited on the dishes during wash cycle.
Aenon!
• Do not put the fine filter upside down.

Filtering assembly
For the best performance and results, the filter assembly must be cleaned. The filter efficiently removes food pares from the wash water, allowing it to be recirculated during the cycle. For this reason, it is a good idea to remove the larger food parcles trapped in the filter aer each cycle by rinsing the semicircular filter and cup under running water.
To remove the filter assembly, turn it in an-clcokwise and li the filter assembly up. Ther enre filter assembly should be
cleaned regulary.
To clean the coarse filter and the fine filter, use a cleaning brush. Then, reinsert the enre assembly in the dishwasher, posioningin its seat, pressing downward, turning it clockwise direcon.
Turn the filter in an-clockwise to unlock Li the filter assembly up
Aenon!
• Never run the dishwasher without the filters in place.
• When cleaning the filters, do not damage them. It may not perform as intended and poor results or damage the
internal parts may be encountered.

Cleaning the door
To clean the edge around the door, you should use only a so warm, damp cloth. To avoid penetraon of water into the door lock and electrical components,
do not use a spray cleaner of any kind.
Also, never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the outer surfaces because they will scratch the finish. Some paper towels can also scratch or leave marks on
the surface.
Aenon!
Never use spray cleaner to clean the door panel for it could damage the door lock and electrical components.
It is not advised to use the abrasive agent or some paper towel because of the risk of scratching or leaving spots on the
stainless steel surface.
Caring for the dishwasher
To clean the control panel use a lighlty damp cloth then dry thoroughly. To clean the exterior use a good appliance polish wax.
Never use sharp objects, scouring pads or harsh cleaners on any parts of the dishwasher.
• Aer every wash
Aer every wash, turn off the water supply to the appliance and leave the door slightly open so that moisture and odours not trapped inside.
• Remove the plug
Before cleaning or performing maintenance, always remove the plug from the socket.
• No solvents or abrasive cleaning
To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher, do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products.
Use a cloth with warm soapy water only.
To remove spots or stains from the surface of the interior, use a cloth dampened with water an a lile white vinegar, or a cleaning product made specifically for dishwashers.
• When you go on holiday
When you go on holiday, it is recommend that you run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty and then remove the plug from the socket, turn off the water supply and leave the door slightly open. This will help the door seals to last longer and prevent odours from forming within
the appliance.
• Moving the appliance
If the appliance must be moved, try to keep it in the vercal posion. If absolutely necessary, it can be posioned on its back.
• Seals
One of the factors that cause odours to form in the dishwasher is food that remains trapped in the seals. Periodic cleaning with a damp sponge will prevent this from occurring.

Connecon of drain hose
For connecng the hose , you could choose either way A or B.
Insert the drain hose into a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 40mm, or let it run into the sink, making sure to avoid bending or crimping it. The top of the hose must be at height between 400mm and 1000mm. The free end of the hose must not be immersed in water to avoid the back flow of it.
Counter
NOTE.
The top of the hose must
be at a height between
40cm and100cm. The free end of the hose

Posion the appliance
Posion the appliance in the desired locaon. The back should rest against the wall behind it, and the sides, along the adjacent cabinets or walls. The dishwasher is equipped with water supply and drain hoses that can be posioned either to the right or the le sides to facilitate proper installaon.
Levelling the appliance
Once the appliance is posioned for levelling, the height of the
dishwasher may be altered via adjustment of the screwing level of the feet.
In any case, the appliance should not be inclined more than 2°.
Water supply and cold water connecon
Connect the cold water supply hose to a threaded 3/4(inch) connector and make sure
that it is fastened ghtly in place.
If the water pipes are new or have not been used for an extended period of me,
let the water run to make sure that the water is clear.
This precauon is needed to avoid the risk of the water inlet to be blocked and
damage the appliance.
Povided water supply hose has Aqua-stop system. Ensure that water supply hose’s Aqua-stop pipe is connected to the water tap also!
Aenon!
• For water connecon, ensure you connect to COLD water supply!
• Water pressure msut be between 0.04MPa - 1MPa.

About elctricity connecng
WARNING!
Disconnect electrical power before installing dishwasher. Failure to do so could result in death or electrical shock.
Electrical requirements
- an 220-240V , 50 Hz fuse or a circuit breaker
- an indivisual branch circuit serving your dishwasher
- DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD OR AN ADAPTER PLUG WITH THIS APPLIANCE.
- DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OR REMOVE THE THIRD GROUNDING PRONG FROM THE POWER
CORD.
How to drain excess water from hoses
If the sink is 1000 higher from the floor, the excess water in hoses cannot be drained directly into the sink. It will be necessary to drain excess water from hoses into a bowl or suitable container that is held outside and lower than the sink.
Water oulet
Connect the water drain hose. The drain hose must be correctly fied to avoid water leaks. Ensure that the water drain hose is not kinked or squashed.
Extension hose
If you need a drain hose extension, make sure to use a similar drain hose. It must be no longer than 4 metres; otherwise the cleaning effect of the dishwasher could be reduced.
Syphon connecon
The waste connecon must be at a height between 40 cm(mininum) and than 100 cm (maximum) from the boom of the dishwasher. The water drain hose should be fixed by a hose clip.
Aqua-stop
The Aqua-stop system is a safety valve system, prevenng water leaks. If the water inlet hose starts to leak anyme, the sfe valve cuts off the unning water. If the water inlet hose or the safety valve
is damaged, remove and replace it. Do not enlarge or shorten the inlet hose.
