System Overview

GV3 panels are the premier
commercial control panel line from
Bosch. GV3 panels integrate intrusion,
fire and access control providing one
simple user interface for all systems.
With the ability to adapt to large and
small applications, GV3 panels are
scalable, with versions available from
40 to 246 points.

Flexible Communications Options

Using Bosch Conettix communication, GV3 can transmit
alarm events and be configured over telephone, data
networks such as intranets or the Internet, and GSM/
GPRS cellular networks. This greatly increases security
and efficiency and provides reliable communication where
options may be limited. GV3 transmits in both Bosch
proprietary ModemIIIa2 and Contact ID formats, providing
compatibility with virtually any monitoring center.

Adaptable to virtually any application requirement

GV3 panels are as adaptable as they are powerful. The
system can be split into up to 32 areas, each with perimeter
and interior arming. To provide ease of use, keypads can be
configured to operate all areas, or just a single area. Custom
text is remotely programmable on each keypad – reducing
costly service calls.

Multiple Applications

Banking/financial:

E Use the early ambush feature for banks where the

manager opens alone or 2-Person disarm where the bank
requires two people to open the branch or disarm a
critical area

E Use multiple areas to partition the bank for critical

areas like the ATM, Vault and Office. GV3 can even be
programmed to easily allow the branch manager to disarm
branch without disarming other critical areas like the vault
or ATM

Retail:

E Use POPITS to monitor critical coolers and HVAC

systems – reducing a big risk for grocery, big-box retail

and convenience stores
E Combine Area Control with access control to control
arm/disarm of critical areas like the pharmacy, office, cash

office, warehouse, OH doors and to eliminate the need
for keys

Schools

E Use wireless personal transmitters to allow teachers and

administrators to call for help from anywhere on campus
E Custom functions, SKEDs can be used to provide easy

arming configuration for special events such as concerts,

sporting events, community meetings

Reliable Performance

Bosch’s reputation for robust, reliable products is alive and
well in the GV3. All critical components are housed in a
protective metal carrier – eliminating component damage.
The system operating firmware is easily updated in the field
using a flash key, eliminating the need to replace ROM chips.
