If your appliance is fitted with a nonrewireable BS 1363 plug it must not be used unless a 13 amp (ASTA approved to BS 1362) fuse is fitted in the carrier contained in the plug. Spares may be obtained from your BISSELL supplier. If for any reason the plug is cut off, it must be disposed of, as it is an electric shock hazard should it be inserted into a 13 amp socket.

How To Use This Guide
This User’s Guide has been designed to help you get the utmost satisfaction from your BISSELL QuickWash Lightweight Deep Cleaner. You’ll find assembly and operating instructions, safety precautions, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting instructions. Please read this User's Guide thoroughly before assembling your cleaner.
Pay particular attention to the product diagram, assembly instructions, and part names. Locate and organize all parts before assembly. Familiarize yourself with the parts and where they go. Following this User’s Guide will greatly enhance your ability to get the most performance from your BISSELL QuickWash for many years.
Your QuickWash assembles quickly and easily. The only tool you will need to assemble your deep cleaner is a Phillips Head ( ) screwdriver.
Your QuickWash is packaged with the following items: Handle Assembly Upper Body Lower Body with Collection Tank Clean Water/Solution Tank 3 Screws
How To Assemble

How To Use Your BISSELL QuickWash
How To Begin
Plan activities to give carpet time to dry.

WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, use only BISSELL Cleaning Formulas
for Deep Cleaning Machines. Use of cleaning formulas that contain lemon or pine oil may damage this appliance and void warranty. Chemical spot cleaners or solvent-based soil removers should not be used. These products may react with the plastic materials used in your QuickWash, causing cracking or pitting.
Tip:
Always vacuum thoroughly before you deep clean. If possible, move large furniture to an area you will not be cleaning.

Deep cleaning spots, spills and high traffic areas on a regular basis can prolong carpet life.

Deep Cleaning
With your foot, press the red Power Switch [located in foot

Tip:
It is recommended that every time your Clean Water/Solution Tank is emptied of solution that you empty the contents of the Collection Tank. If the Collection Tank gets too full, you may begin to see foam spitting out of the vent cover. When this happens you will know it is time to empty the Collection Tank.
Cleaning Solution Section
Keep plenty of genuine BISSELL Cleaning Formulas for Deep Cleaning Machines on hand so you can clean and protect whenever it fits your schedule. Always use genuine BISSELL Cleaning Formulas for Deep Cleaning Machines. NON-BISSELL Cleaning formulas may harm the machine and void the warranty.

Press Spray Trigger and slowly move the machine forward and back over soiled surface one time.
Caution: Do not overwet.
Repeat the motion without pressing Spray Trigger using the Bare Floor Tool to squeegee and suction up the dirty water.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until surface is clean.
Allow about 30 minutes for the floor to dry completely.

To Install the Replacement Brush Belt
*QuickWash PowerBrush (2080 series) only
Turn the machine off and unplug from wall outlet.

Remove Clean Water/Solution and Collection Tanks.

Lie machine down to access the bottom of the machine.

With a Phillips head screwdriver , unscrew the Brush

Cover and remove.
Remove the Brush End Cap and remove Belt from Brush.
5.
Brush can now be removed.
6.
Belt can be removed by sliding off the Motor Pulley.

Clean or replace Belt. Attach Belt to Motor pulley and Brush,

insert Brush into right side End Cap.
Reattach the left End Cap and slide Brush back into place.

Replace the Brush Cover and screw into place.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary

Limited Two Year Warranty
Subject to the *EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS identified below, BISSELL Homecare, Inc., will replace (with new
or remanufactured components), at BISSELL’s option, free of charge from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, for two years any defective or malfunctioning part do to manufacturers defect.
This warranty applies to product used for personal, and not commercial or rental service. This warranty does
not apply to fans or routine maintenance components such as filters, belts, or brushes. Damage or malfunction caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the User’s Guide is not covered.
