IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken including the following:

•Use the fan only for purposes described in the instruction manual.

•Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in use, when moving the fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.

•Avoid contact with any moving parts.

•Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.

•Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.

•Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped/damaged in any manner.

•The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazards.

•Do not use outdoors.

•Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or come into contact with hot surfaces.

•To disconnect from the electrical supply, grip the plug and pull from the wall outlet. DO NOT pull on the cord.

•Always use on a dry, level surface.

•The fan should not be operated laying on its side.

•This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial or industrial applications.

•Should the fan stop working, first check the fuse in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit breaker at the distribution board is operating, before contacting the manufacturer or service agent.

•If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1.Assemble Column (C, D) to Fan housing (L) making sure the cord is enclosed between the Column (C, D). Secure together with 4 screws (E). Refer to Fig. 2.

2.Assemble Base (F, G) to already assembled Fan housing and Column (C, D, L) making sure the cord is enclosed between the Base (F, G). Secure thogether with 4 screws (H). Refer to Fig. 2.

3.Secure Power Cord (A) to bottom of base (F, G). Refer to Fig. 3.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (Refer to Fig. 1)

Power Off:

Select Speed = O, or, Select = O

Continuous Operation:

Select = I and

Select Speed = III, II, I

Timer Control:

Select = Turns off in up to 120 minutes and

Select Speed = III, II, I

Oscillation Control:

Press = Oscillation on, off

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•Always unplug the fan before cleaning or assembly.

•Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.

FITTING A REPLACEMENT PLUG (UK ONLY)

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE	-	NEUTRAL
BROWN	-	LIVE

This appliance is fitted with a 13 amp plug. The fuse should be rated at 3 amps and ASTA approved to BS1362.

However if the plug is unsuitable, it should be removed from the supply cord and an appropriate plug fitted as detailed below:-

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:-

The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured Black.

The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured Red.

NB. Neither wire should be connected to the terminal in your plug which is marked with the letter E or by the Earth symbol or coloured Green or Green and Yellow. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

If any other plug is used, a 3 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or adaptor or at the distribution board.

CONSIGNES D'ASSEMBLAGE

1.Assemblez le montant (C, D) et le boîtier du ventilateur (L) en vous assurant que le cordon se trouve à l'intérieur du montant (C, D). Fixez le tout avec 4 vis (E). Reportez-vous à la fig. 2.

2.Ajoutez la base (F, G) aux pièces déjà montées, le boîtier du ventilateur et le montant (C, D, L), en veillant à ce que le cordon se trouve à l'intérieur de la base (F, G). Fixez le tout avec 4 vis (H). Reportez-vous à la fig. 2.

3.Fixez le cordon d'alimentation (A) sur la face inférieure de la base (F, G). Reportez-vous à la fig. 3.

CONSIGNES D’UTILISATION (Voir la fig. 1) Arrêt :

Sélectionnez une vitesse = O ou Sélectionnez = O

Fonctionnement continu :

Sélectionnez = I et

Sélectionnez une vitesse = III, II, I

Contrôle de la minuterie :

Sélectionnez = S’éteint après un maximum de 120 minutes,

puis

Sélectionnez une vitesse = III, II, I

Contrôle de l'oscillation :

Appuyez = Oscillation activée, Oscillation désactivée

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

•Veillez toujours à débrancher le ventilateur avant de le nettoyer ou de l’assembler.

•Veillez à ce qu’il ne se produise pas d’écoulement d’eau dans le boîtier du moteur du ventilateur.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG

1.Setzen Sie die beiden Ständerhälften (C, D) unterhalb des Ventilatorgehäuses (L) um das Kabel herum zusammen. Befestigen Sie den zusammengesetzten Ständer mit 4 Schrauben (E). (siehe Abbildung 2).

2.Setzen Sie die beiden Sockelhälften (F, G) unterhalb des Ventilatorgehäuses (L) und des bereits befestigten Ständers um das Kabel herum zusammen. Befestigen Sie den zusammengesetzten Sockel mit 4 Schrauben

(H). (siehe Abbildung 2).

3.Befestigen Sie das Netzkabel (A) an der Unterseite des Sockels (F, G). (siehe Abbildung 3).

BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG (siehe Abb. 1) Ausschaltung:

Geschwindigkeit = O oder = O wählen

Kontinuierlicher Betrieb:

= I und

Geschwindigkeit = III, II, I wählen

Zeitgeber:

= automatische Abschaltung in bis zu 120 Minuten

und

Geschwindigkeit = III, II, I wählen

Hinund Herbewegung:

drücken, um Oszillation einoder auszuschalten

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

•Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen oder Montieren immer erst den Stecker des Ventilators aus der Steckdose.

•Lassen Sie kein Wasser in das Motorgehäuse des Ventilators gelangen.
