
Apple USB Power Adapter
Use the Apple USB Power Adapter to charge iPod or 
iPhone. You can also use the included cable to sync iPod 
or iPhone with your computer.
To charge your iPod or iPhone:
1  Connect the USB cable to the power adapter, and then 
plug the power adapter into a power outlet.
2  Connect iPod or iPhone to the other end of the cable.
You can also connect the cable to an iPod or iPhone dock.
To charge and sync iPod or iPhone with your computer:
 m Connect iPod or iPhone to your computer using the 
USB cable.

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions 
could result in re, electric shock, or other injury  
or damage.
When you use the Apple USB Power Adapter to charge 
iPod or iPhone, connect the USB cable to the power 
adapter, and then plug the power adapter rmly into the 
power outlet. Do not connect or disconnect the Apple 
USB Power Adapter with wet hands. Do not use any power 
adapter other than the Apple USB Power Adapter to 
charge iPod or iPhone.
The Apple USB Power Adapter may become warm during 
normal use. Always allow adequate ventilation around the 
Apple USB Power Adapter and use care when handling. 
Unplug the Apple USB Power Adapter if any of the 
following conditions exist:
The USB cable has become frayed or damaged.

The plug part of the adapter or the adapter case has  Â 
become damaged. 
 Â
The adapter is exposed to rain, liquid, or excessive 
moisture.

You suspect the adapter needs service or repair. Â 
You want to clean the adapter. Â
