Yaesu Rotator Clunking Noise

There have been several returns of Yaesu rotators that the customers report “Loose parts inside the rotator.”

The metal “clank” or “clunk” noise that is heard is the end of rotation lever hitting the stop and this is a normal sound.

Below are pictures of this lever that moves freely within the rotator. Please do not return the rotators for this sound.

Photos are from a Yaesu G-450 rotator. This sound has also been detected on other Yaesu rotator models as well.
