ACT 909 Tankless Mounting Bracket Instructions

Installation, Operation and Service Instructions

*Please note : For a currently installed pump, begin with figure 1. For an uninstalled pump begin with figure 5.

Lift timer cover on the pump, and slide the switch to the “Off” position. Turn off the water using the angle stop valves under your sink. Unplug the pump, and disconnect the hoses from the pump housing (Bronze top).

Screw the bolt with the bracket ear back into place, and tighten. Repeat steps 2 through 4 on the other bolt. (DO ONE SIDE AT A TIME ONLY, DO NOT REMOVE BOTH BOLTS AT THE SAME TIME).

Using an Allen wrench, remove one of the bolts that connects the pump motor drive unit to the housing.

Place the bolt through the bracket ear.

Locate the 4 rubber grommets.

Place the grommets in the side holes of mounting bracket.

With all 4 grommets in place, mark and drill the holes that correspond with the holes in the back of the bracket.

Locate the 4 short screws.

Push the red plastic anchors in to the drilled holes.

Locate the 4 long screws.

Attach the pump’s bracket ears to the mounting bracket using the 4 short screws

13. Reattach hoses to the pump; turn the angle stop valves on. Plug in the pump, and turn the pump “On”.

Using the screws, attach the mounting bracket to the wall.
