About FindMe™
The FindM e feature allows you as an indi vidual or p art of a group to have a single n ame on whic h you can always b e called, an d to choose where cal ls to that name wi ll be routed. You can als o determine w hat happens i f your first ch oices are ei ther busy or u nanswered a fter a certa in period of ti me.
For example, yo u could set up yo ur individual FindM e name so that it will cal l you on your des ktop endpo int first. If the re’s no answer after 10 secon ds it will dive rt the cal l to your mobile p hone, or if your desktop e ndpoint is b usy it will di vert the ca ll to your colle ague’s desktop v ideo unit.
Alternati vely, you could have a s ingle Find Me name for you r team, and set it up so that a ll the team mem bers’ desk top video u nits will ri ng when anyon e calls the Fin dMe name.
FindMe User Accounts
Each FindM e name has an a ssociated user accou nt. Your FindMe user acco unt is set up by your system admini strator. Once this has been done, yo u can log in to you r account vi a a web interf ace and configure i t with detail s of the device (s) on which you want to b e contac ted:
when a call i s first place d to your FindMe name•
if any or all of you r first choi ce of device s are busy•
if all of your fir st choice of d evices are u nanswered.•
You can update these d etails as of ten as you wish.
Individual versus Group FindMe
There are t wo types of F indMe names: indiv idual and g roup.
The only di fferen ce betwee n the two is what h appens if o ne of the devices i n the initial l ist is busy.
For individuals, it is assume d that you will o nly be able to ta ke calls on one device at a time, therefo re if any devic es in your Prim ary list a re busy, the call will i mmediatel y divert to th e device (s) in yo ur Busy list.
For groups, it is assume d that more tha n one perso n is availabl e to take calls, s o the call will o nly diver t to the device (s) in the Busy list if
all devices in t he Primar y list are engaged.
Accessing the FindMe Configuration Page
To configure your Fin dMe user acc ount, log in vi a a web browser a s describ ed below:
You will be taken to the F indMe Welcome pag e.
From here you ca n configure yo ur
FindMe options as either an ind ividual
or a group.
You will be taken to the
User Login pa ge.
Enter the
Username and Password
provided to you by yo ur system administr ator and sele ct Login.
Go to the FindM e link provided to you by your system administrator.
This will ta ke you to the
Login page.
Select
User Login.
It is possib le for your to have a tel ephone num ber which people ca n dial from th eir mobile p hone or from a I SDN line
that will rou te calls to your Fin dMe. This wi ll depend o n your network c onfiguratio n and must be set up by your system administr ator; contact th em for more inf ormation.

Ring the Pri mary Dev ices
Select th e amount of time i n seconds th at you want the devices i n the Primary list to ring before t he call is dive rted.
Alternati vely, you can spec ify that the devi ces will ring
until caller h angs up, in
which cas e the call won’t be diver ted.
Ensure that none of the Primary dev ices are set to
Autoanswer. If they are, the
system will consider the call to have been an swered when Autoanswer i s initiated, an d so it will not di vert the ca ll to any other devic es.
Adding and Removing Devices
Adding a Device to a List
You can have up to five devic es in each li st. To add a device to a ny of the lists, ente r one of the following i n any of the availa ble fields :
for video e ndpoints : enter any alia s, URI or • ENUM with wh ich the device is register ed
for 3G mobile p hones: to route video to your • mobile pho ne, you must have a 3G g ateway
- enter the gateway’s prefi x followed by the mobile pho ne number. To route voice onl y, enter the mob ile phone nu mber alon g with any prefixes req uired by your di al plan for ex ternal calls
for telepho nes: enter t he extensio n number ( for • internal c alls) or tel ephone nu mber, along with any neces sary pre fixes.
You can also use anot her perso n’s FindMe name in any of these fi elds, for exam ple if you want yo ur calls to be diverted to a coll eague.
Removing a Device from a List
To remove a device from a l ist, delete it fr om the relevant fie ld and click
Save Change s.
Primar y Devices
Enter all the de vice(s) that you want to be called when your FindMe na me is first dia led.
If more than on e device is listed here, th ey will all ri ng at the same tim e.
Busy Devic es
For an individual, enter all the devi ce( s) to which you want the call to b e diverted immediately if any of the devices i n the Primary list are busy.
For a
group of peo ple, enter the dev ice( s) to which
you want the ca ll to be diver ted immedia tely if all of the device s in the Primary li st are busy. (If so me of the device s in the Prima ry list are b usy, the rest will continue to ri ng for the spe cified time b efore the call will be dive rted to the dev ices listed h ere.)
If more than on e device is li sted here, they will all ring at the same tim e.
If no device s are listed he re, the calle r will get a “busy” response i f any or all of the
Primary devi ces are busy.
No Answer Devices
Enter all the de vice(s) to whic h you want the cal l to be diverte d if none of the devices in the Pr imary list are answered w ithin the spe cified time.
If more than on e device is li sted here, they will all ring at the same tim e.
If no device s are listed he re, the calle r will recei ve a “no answer” response if n one of the
Primary devi ces
are answere d.
If Ring the Pr imary Devices is set to

If no Primar y Devic es are configu red for a FindMe na me, all calls to th at name will b e rejected.
User Name
This shows th e usernam e for this FindM e account.
FindMe N ame
This shows th e FindMe na me being configured.
Save Change s
Click here to u pdate your FindMe account with an y changes . The chang es will take place im mediately.
Change Password
Click here to c hange the password us ed to access your FindM e account. You will be take n to a new page where you ca n enter the new password.
Log Out
Click here to ex it the FindM e page.
