Intended use

This indoor antenna is intended exclusively for non­commercial utilisation in the reception of UHF/VHF
and DVB-T TV senders and for VHF radio reception
in indoor rooms.
Any utilisation other than as described here is not
permitted and could lead to damage and injuries.
No liability will be accepted for damages resulting
from false or improper usage, the application of
force or unauthorised modifications.

Important Instructions for
your Safety!

To avoid potentially fatal electric shocks:

• This device is not intended for use by individuals
(including children) with restricted physical,
physiological or intellectual abilities or defici­ences in experience and/or knowledge unless
they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or receive from this person
instruction in how the device is to be used.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not bend or squeeze the power cable.

• To disconnect, always pull the plug itself out of
the mains power socket, do not pull on the
power cable.

• Arrange for defective plugs and/or cables to
be replaced at once by qualified technicians
or our Customer Service Department.

• Before cleaning, or if there is a power supply
fault, remove the plug from the mains power
socket.

• Do not place objects containing liquids, e.g.
flower vases, on or near the device.

• NEVER submerge the device in water or other
liquids.

• NEVER open the housing of the appliance, it
contains no user-serviceable parts! If the hou­sing is opened, there is a risk of receiving a
potentially fatal electric shock.

Separation from the mains power network:

The controller does not completely separate the an­tenna from the mains power network when it is swit­ched off. In addition, the antenna consumes current
in the off-state. To completely separate the antenna
from the mains power supply, the plug must be dis­connected from the mains power socket. Therefore,
the device should be positioned so that the mains
power socket is at all times easily accessible, also
ensuring that the appliance can be easily and
quickly disconnected in the event of an emergency.
To avoid the risk of fire, the device should always
be unplugged when it is not in use, and especially
so during holidays or extended absences.

To avoid damage to the device:

• Ensure that the voltage details given on the
type plate tally completely with those of the
local power supply.

• Do not place unprotected fire sources, such as
candles, on or adjacent to the appliance.

• Ensure an adequate safety distance to other
objects (approx. 10 cm).

• The appliance may only be used under normal
indoor conditions, i.e. protected against moisture,
dirt, extremes of heat and cold and temperature
fluctuations.

• Always pull the plug out of the power socket if
you are not using the room antenna for a longer
period of time.

• In the event of a heavy storm or a thunderstorm
with lightning, equipment connected to a mains
power supply could be damaged. Therefore,
always unplug the antenna from the mains
power supply during a thunderstorm.

Operating the Indoor Antenna

 Place the device on a firm and level surface.

Power source connection

 Insert the power plug of the indoor antenna

into the power socket.

Receiving programme signals via the
indoor antenna

The programme signals are received by the indoor
antenna and transmitted to the television set.
For the reception of DVB-T transmitter signals you
need a TV with an integrated DVB-T Tuner or an
additional DVB-T Receiver (DVB-T signals are not
available everywhere).
The indoor antenna has to be positioned correctly
for the proper reception of programme signals.
The following antennas are available for this:

two telescoping antennas for VHF and UKW
reception that tilt and rotate by 180° and

2

one oval-shaped antenna for UHF reception
that tilts and rotates by 100°.

To orient the indoor antenna:

 Pull out both telescopic antenna
 and adjust these until the best reception is

obtained.

 Adjust the oval antenna

What to Do in the Event of
Reception Problems

Reception disruptions, such as an unclear or distor­ted picture could have the following causes:

• The indoor antenna is not correctly oriented.

Every station requires an individual orientation.
For this reason, reorient the indoor antenna
every time after changing the station.

• There are obstacles in the reception range

of the indoor antenna.

Attempt to remove the obstructions or place the
antenna at a different location.

• There is electromagnetic interference in the

immediate vicinity.

Try to eliminate the interference if, for example,
it is caused by other appliances (mobile tele­phone, micro-wave, etc.).

• Interference due to overmodulation.

Try to eliminate the interference by reducing
the amplifier gain by turning the regulator
anti-clockwise.

The reception characteristics of the indoor
antenna are only good if you are close
enough to the broad-casting station.

Cleaning and Care

Risk of electric shock

• Before cleaning, always pull the plug out
of the plug socket.

• Never submerge the indoor antenna into
water or other liquids during cleaning.

 Clean the indoor antenna only with a dry,

lint-free cloth.
To avoid damaging the appliance, never use
solvents for cleaning.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the European guideline
2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved
dis-posal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal
centre.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Warranty & Service

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from
the date of purchase. The appliance has been ma­nufactured with care and meticulously examined be­fore delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of
purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please
make contact by telephone with our Service Depart­ment. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for
your goods be assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and
maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,
for wearing parts or for damage to fragile compo­nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for
private use only and is not intended for commercial
use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and
improper handling, use of force and internal tampe­ring not carried out by our authorized service
branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted in
any way by this warranty.
The warranty period will not be extended by re­pairs made under warranty. This applies also to re­placed and repaired parts. Any damage and de­fects extant on purchase must be reported
immediately after unpacking the appliance, at the
latest, two days after the purchase date. Repairs
made after the expiration of the warranty period
are subject to payment.

Uporaba u skladu sa namjenom

Ova sobna antena namijenjena je isključivo za
nekomercijalnu uporabu, te za prijem UHF/VHF i
DVB-T televizijskih signala, kao i za prijem UKW
krugovalnih signala u unutrašnjim prostorijama.
Drugi načini uporabe osim ovdje navedenih nisu
dopušteni i mogu dovesti do oštećenja i ozljeda.
Za štete uslijed zloupotrebe i nestručnog rukovanja,
primjene sile i neovlaštenih modifikacija proizvođač
ne preuzima odgovornost.

Važne napomene za Vašu
sigurnost!

Da biste izbjegli opasnost po život
uslijed strujnog udara:

• Ovaj uređaj nije namijenjen da bude korišten
od strane osoba (uključujući djecu) sa ogra­ničenim fizičkim, senzoričnim i mentalnim oso­binama i nedostatkom iskustva ili znanja, osim
ako ove osobe stoje pod nadzorom druge oso­be zadužene za njihovu sigurnost, ili ako su od
nje primili upute za ispravno korištenje uređaja.

• Djeca bi trebala biti pod nadzorom, čime treba

Napomena za odvajanje od strujne mreže:

Regulator antenu ne odvaja potpuno od strujne
mreže, kada je isključen. Osim toga antena i u
isključenom stanju stoji pod naponom. Da biste an­tenu potpuno odvojili od strujne mreže, morate
mrežni utikač iskopčati iz utičnice. Stoga uređaj tre­ba biti postavljen tako, da u svakom trenutku bude
omogućen nesmetan pristup mrežnoj utičnici, kako
bi mrežni utikač u slučaju opasnosti mogao neizos­tavno biti izvučen. Da biste isključili opasnost od
požara mrežni utikač prije dužeg nekorištenja antene,
na primjer za vrijeme godišnjeg odmora, principijelno
trebate odvojiti od mrežne utičnice.

Da biste izbjegli oštećenje uređaja:

• Osigurajte, da navodi u pogledu napona na
tipskoj ploči odgovaraju postojećem mrežnom
naponu.

• Ne postavljajte otvorene izvore plamena, kao
na primjer svijeće, na uređaj ili pokraj njega.

• Obratite pažnju na dovoljno sigurnosno rasto­janje prema drugim predmetima (ca.10 cm).

• Uređaj smije biti korišten samo u normalnoj
sobnoj klimi, dakle zaštićen od vlage, nečistoće,
utjecaja visokih ili niskih temperatura i od
izraženih temperaturnih oscilacija.

• Utikač izvucite iz utičnice, ukoliko sobnu antenu
ne koristite duže vrijeme.

• U slučaju oluje i/ili nevremena sa opasnošću
udara groma može doći do oštećenja ure?aja
priključenih na strujnu mrežu. Stoga za vrijeme
oluke antenu odvojite od strujne mreže i izvuci­te utikač antene.

Priključivanje

Pogon sobne antene

 Uređaj postavite na čvrstu i ravnu površinu.

Priključak na televizijski prijemnik

 Povežite antenski kabel sobne antene 6sa

priključkom za antenu na Vašem televizijskom
prijemniku. Antenski kabel sobne antene
može biti priključen direktno na televizijski pri­jemnik samo onda, kada televizijski prijemnik
raspolaže sa integriranim DVB-T tunerom.

Mrežni priključak

 Utaknite mrežni utikač sobne antene u utičnicu.

Prijem signala odašiljača preko sobne antene

Antena prima signale odašiljača i prenosi ih na
televizijski prijemnik.
Za prijem DVB-T-odašiljačkih signala potreban Vam
je televizijski prijemnik sa integriranim
DVB-T tunerom ili dodatni DVB-T prijemnik
(DVB-T-signali nisu svugdje prisutni).
Za korektan prijem signala odašiljača morate
usmjeriti sobnu antenu.
U tu svrhu na raspolaganju Vam stoje slijedeći
tipovi antena:

dvije teleskopne antene okretne za 180°
zaVHF i UKW-prijem, kao i

2

jedna ovalna antena okretna za 100°za
prijem UHF-signala.

Da biste ispravno usmjerili sobnu antenu:

 Izvucite obje teleskopske antene 1van
 i usmjerite ih, dok prijem ne bude najkvalitetniji.
 Ovalnu antenu
