Sicherheitshinweise
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem Gerät.
Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden Sicher-
heitshinweise:
GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Netzsteckdo-
►
se mit einer Netzspannung von 220-240 V ~/50 Hz an.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisiertem
Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu
vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen den Netz-
stecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Stecker aus der Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie
nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen Sie das Netz-
kabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.
► Sie dürfen den Motorblock des Gerätes keinesfalls in Flüssigkeit tauchen und
keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gehäuse des Motorblocks gelangen lassen.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benut-
zen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie
sofort den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es
von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Fassen Sie den Motorblock, das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker nie mit
nassen Händen an.
► Wenn das Netzkabel oder der Motorblock beschädigt sind, müssen Sie das
Gerät von Fachpersonal reparieren lassen, bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.
► Sie dürfen das Motorblock-Gehäuse des Gerätes nicht öff nen. In diesem Falle
ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und die Gewährleistung erlischt.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Stromnetz. Nur wenn
Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

► Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder)
mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten
oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es
sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.
► Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem
Gerät spielen.
► Beim Umgang mit dem extrem scharfen Messer besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
Setzen Sie das Gerät nach Benutzung und Reinigung wieder zusammen, damit Sie sich nicht am freiliegenden Messer verletzen. Machen Sie das Messer
für Kinder unzugänglich.
► Entnehmen Sie niemals die Lebensmittel aus der Schüssel, solange sich das
Messer noch dreht. Verletzungsgefahr!
► Warten Sie, bis das Messer steht, bevor Sie den Motorblock abnehmen.
Greifen Sie niemals in das noch rotierende Messer! Verletzungsgefahr!

Beachten Sie die Tabelle über die Füllmengen im Kapitel “Zerkleinern”.

Andernfalls besteht Verschmutzungsgefahr durch herausquellendes Füllgut.

Vorbereitungen
Auspacken
♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
♦ Reinigen Sie alle Teile, wie im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pfl ege“ beschrieben.
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garan-

tiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß

Zerkleinern
1) Setzen Sie die Schüssel 7 in den Standfuß 8.
2) Stecken Sie den Messerhalter 5 mit dem Messer 6 auf die Antriebswelle
im Inneren der Schüssel 7.
3) Bereiten Sie das Füllgut vor, indem Sie große Stücke soweit zerkleinern, dass
diese in die Schüssel 7 passen.
4) Geben Sie das Füllgut in die Schüssel 7. Beachten Sie dabei folgende
Tabelle:

5) Achten Sie darauf, dass der Dichtungsring 4 im Deckel 3 eingesetzt ist: die
beiden Gummilippen am Dichtungsring 4 müssen um die Plastikschiene im
Inneren des Deckels 3 greifen.
6) Verschließen Sie dann die Schüssel 7 mit dem Deckel 3: Setzen Sie ihn so
auf die Schüssel 7, dass die Nasen am Deckel 3 in die Schienen an der
Schüssel 7 greifen. Drehen Sie den Deckel 3 dann so, dass die Nasen in
den Schienen nach unten gleiten und der Deckel 3 einrastet.
7) Setzen Sie den Motorblock 2 auf den Deckel 3.
8) Drücken Sie den Motorblock 2 nach unten, um den Motor mit der normalen
Bearbeitungsgeschwindigkeit zu starten.
9) Um eine höhere Bearbeitungsgeschwindigkeit „Turbo“ für das Füllgut zu
erhalten, drücken Sie zusätzlich zum Motorblock 2 die Turbo-Taste 1 und
halten Sie diese gedrückt. Sobald Sie die Turbo-Taste 1 wieder lösen, arbei-
tet das Gerät wieder in der normalen Bearbeitungsgeschwindigkeit.
HINWEIS
Sollten sich während der Bearbeitung größere Stücke des Füllguts an der
►
Schüsselwand ansammeln, heben Sie den Motorblock 2 vom Deckel 3
ab. Schütteln Sie die Schüssel 7 kräftig durch und beginnen Sie anschließend mit der Bearbeitung von vorne. Eventuelle Rückstände mit einem
Teigschaber entfernen.
► Besonders harte Lebensmittel müssen vor der Bearbeitung in kleinere Stücke
zerteilt werden (ca. 2 cm). Ansonsten kann der Motor blockieren. Wählen
Sie eine pulsierende Bearbeitung bei harten Lebensmitteln. Drücken Sie
hierzu mehrfach kurzzeitig die Turbo-Taste 1 (zusätzlich zum Motorblock
2). Sollte das Füllgut nicht vollständig zerkleinert werden, können Sie es
entweder in kleinere Stücke schneiden oder heben Sie den Motorblock 2
vom Deckel 3 ab. Schütteln Sie die Schüssel 7 kräftig durch und beginnen Sie anschließend mit der Bearbeitung von vorne.

10) Wenn das Füllgut zerkleinert worden ist, lassen Sie Motorblock 2 und

fahr. Machen Sie das Messer 6 für Kinder unzugänglich.
14) Ziehen Sie den Messerhalter mit dem Messer 6 vorsichtig aus der
Schüssel 7.
15) Entnehmen Sie das Füllgut.
HINWEIS
Durch das Zerkleinern von härteren, reibenden Lebensmitteln kann die
►
Schüssel 7 mit der Zeit ein trübes Aussehen bekommen. Dies ist normal
und beeinträchtigt die Funktion des Gerätes nicht.
HINWEIS
Sie können den Standfuß 8, nachdem Sie die Bearbeitung der Lebens-
►
mittel beendet haben, als Deckel für die Schüssel 7 verwenden, um die
Lebensmittel länger frisch zu halten.
► Nehmen Sie Motorblock 2 und Deckel 3 von der Schüssel 7 ab.
► Der Messerhalter 5 mit dem Messer 6 kann, wenn Sie wünschen, in der
Schüssel 7 verbleiben.
► Lösen Sie den Standfuß 8 von der Unterseite der Schüssel 7. Sie können
den Standfuß 8 nun auf die Schüssel 7 setzen und mittig darauf drücken,
so dass er die Schüssel 7 verschließt.
Reinigung und Pfl ege
GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!
Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose!
►
Ansonsten besteht Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!
► Öff nen Sie niemals irgendwelche Gehäuseteile. Es befi nden sich keinerlei
Bedienelemente darin. Bei geöff netem Gehäuse kann Lebensgefahr bestehen durch elektrischen Schlag.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten!
Hier kann Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag entstehen, wenn im
Betrieb Flüssigkeitsreste auf spannungsführende Teile gelangen.
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Beim Umgang mit dem extrem scharfen Messer 6 besteht Verletzungsge-
fahr. Setzen Sie den Universalzerkleinerer nach Benutzung und Reinigung
wieder zusammen, damit Sie sich nicht am freiliegenden Messer 6 verletzen. Machen Sie das Messer 6 für Kinder unzugänglich.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
Sie dürfen den Motorblock 2, den Standfuß 8 und den Dichtungsring
►
4 nicht in der Geschirrspülmaschine reinigen, diese würden dadurch
beschädigt.
► Benutzen Sie keine scheuernden oder ätzenden Reinigungsmittel. Diese
können die Oberfl äche angreifen und das Gerät irreparabel beschädigen.
■ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
■ Reinigen Sie den Motorblock 2 mit einem feuchten Tuch. Trocknen Sie ihn
gut ab.
■ Nehmen Sie den Dichtungsring 4 aus dem Deckel 3 und lösen Sie den
Standfuß 8 von der Schüssel 7.
■ Die Schüssel 7, der Deckel 3 und der Messerhalter mit dem Messer 6
sind spülmaschinengeeignet.
■ Reinigen Sie den Dichtungsring 4 und den Standfuß 8 in Wasser und ge-
ben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel hinzu. Spülen Sie danach alle Teile mit klarem
Wasser ab, so dass keine Spülmittelreste daran verbleiben. Achten Sie darauf, alles gut abzutrocknen, bevor Sie das Gerät wieder zusammensetzen.
Aufbewahren
■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pfl ege“ beschrieben.
■ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und sauberen Ort.

sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis für den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen
Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so
kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.
HINWEIS
Das Produkt ist lediglich für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen
Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung,

U hebt hiermee gekozen voor een hoogwaardig product. De gebruiksaanwijzing
maakt deel uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor veiligheid, gebruik en afvoeren. Maak u vertrouwd met alle bedienings- en veiligheidsaanwijzingen voordat u het product in gebruik neemt. Gebruik het product
uitsluitend op de voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Als
u het product aan derden geeft, vergeet dan niet alle bijbehorende documenten
toe te voegen.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies voor de omgang met het
apparaat.
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de gestelde veiligheidsvoorschriften.
Een verkeerd gebruik kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel en materiële schade.
Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht voor een veilige omgang met
het apparaat:
GEVAAR - STROOMSCHOK!
Sluit het apparaat uitsluitend aan op een volgens de voorschriften geïnstal-
►
leerd stopcontact met een netspanning van 220-240 V ~/50 Hz.
► Laat beschadigde stekkers en netsnoeren onmiddellijk door geautoriseerd
en vakkundig personeel, of door de klantenservice vervangen, om risico's
te voorkomen.
► Haal bij storing van het apparaat en voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt
de netstekker uit het stopcontact.
► Trek het netsnoer altijd aan de stekker uit het stopcontact, trek niet aan het
snoer zelf.
► Knik of plet het netsnoer niet en leidt het netsnoer zodanig dat niemand
erop kan gaan staan of erover kan struikelen.
► Dompel het motorblok van het apparaat in geen geval onder in vloeistoff en
en voorkom dat er vloeistoff en in de behuizing van het motorblok komen.
► Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan vocht en gebruik het niet in de openlucht.
Mocht er toch een keer vloeistof in de behuizing van het apparaat terechtkomen, haal dan direct de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact en
laat het apparaat door deskundig personeel repareren.
► Pak het motorblok, het netsnoer of de netstekker nooit met natte handen
vast.
► Wanneer het netsnoer of het motorblok beschadigd is, dient u het ap-
paraat door deskundig personeel laten repareren voordat u het opnieuw
gebruikt.
► U mag de behuizing van het motorblok van het apparaat niet openen. In
dat geval is de veiligheid niet gegarandeerd en vervalt de garantie.
► Koppel het apparaat meteen na gebruik los van het lichtnet. Alleen wanneer
u de netstekker uit het stopcontact trekt, is het apparaat helemaal spanningsloos.

WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!
► Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (met inbegrip
van kinderen) met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of
met gebrek aan ervaring en/of gebrek aan kennis, tenzij ze onder toezicht
staan van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon of van die
persoon aanwijzingen krijgen voor het gebruik van het apparaat.
► Bij kinderen is toezicht noodzakelijk om er voor te zorgen dat ze niet met
het apparaat spelen.
► Er bestaat letselgevaar bij de omgang met het extreem scherpe mes. Zet
het apparaat na gebruik en reiniging weer in elkaar, zodat u zich niet aan
het blootliggende mes kunt verwonden. Zorg dat kinderen niet bij het mes
kunnen komen.
► Haal nooit de levensmiddelen uit de schaal zolang het mes nog draait.
Letselgevaar!
► Wacht totdat het mes tot stilstand is gekomen, voordat u het motorblok
afneemt. Grijp nooit in het roterende mes! Letselgevaar!
LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
Raadpleeg de tabel voor de vulhoeveelheden in het hoofdstuk “Fijnhakken”.

Anders bestaat er gevaar voor verontreiniging door overlopende levensmiddelen.

Voorbereidingen
Uitpakken
♦ Haal alle onderdelen van het apparaat en de bedieningshandleiding uit de
doos.
♦ Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
♦ Maak alle onderdelen schoon, zoals beschreven in het hoofdstuk “Reiniging
en onderhoud”.
De verpakking afvoeren
De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu. Ze zijn gekozen om afvoertechnische
redenen en daarom recyclebaar.
Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop is een besparing
op grondstoff en en reduceert het ontstaan van afval. Voer verpakkingsmaterialen
die niet meer worden gebruikt af conform de plaatselijke geldende voorschriften.

Indien mogelijk de originele verpakking bewaren gedurende de garantiepe-

riode van het apparaat, om het apparaat in geval van een garantiekwestie
volgens de voorschriften te kunnen verpakken.

Fijnhakken
1) Plaats de kom 7 in de standvoet 8.
2) Bevestig de meshouder 5 met het mes 6 op de aandrijfas in de kom 7.
3) Prepareer de levensmiddelen waarmee u wilt vullen, door grote stukken
zover klein te snijden dat deze in de kom 7 passen.
4) Doe de levensmiddelen waarmee u wilt vullen in de kom 7. Neem hierbij
de volgende tabel in acht:

5) Let erop dat de afdichtring 4 in het deksel 3 is aangebracht: De beide
rubberlippen van de afdichtring 4 moeten om de plasticrand binnen in het
deksel 3 grijpen.
6) Sluit daarna de kom 7 met het deksel 3: zet het deksel zo op de kom 7,
dat de punten op het deksel 3 in de geleiders op de kom 7 grijpen. Draai
het deksel 3 dan zo, dat de punten in de geleiders omlaag glijden en dat
het deksel 3 vastklikt.
7) Plaats het motorblok 2 op het deksel 3.
8) Druk het motorblok 2 omlaag om de motor met de normale werksnelheid
te starten.
9) Voor een hogere werksnelheid (“turbo”) drukt u op het motorblok 2 en op
de turbo-toets 1 en houdt u deze ingedrukt. Zodra u de turbo-toets 1 weer
loslaat, werkt het apparaat weer met de normale werksnelheid.
OPMERKING
Als er tijdens de verwerking grotere stukken vulmateriaal vast komen te
►
zitten tegen de wand van de kom, tilt u het motorblok 2 van het deksel 3
af. De kom 7 stevig schudden en vervolgens opnieuw met de bewerking
beginnen. Verwijder eventuele resten met een deegschraper.
► Erg harde levensmiddelen moeten vóór de bewerking in kleinere stukken
worden verdeeld (ca. 2 cm). Anders kan de motor blokkeren. Kies bij harde
levensmiddelen een pulserende bewerking. Hiervoor drukt u een paar keer
kort op de turbo-toets 1 (additioneel bij drukken op het motorblok 2). Als
het vulmateriaal niet helemaal wordt fi jngehakt, kunt u het ofwel in kleinere
stukken snijden, of het motorblok 2 van het deksel 3 af tillen. De kom 7
stevig schudden en vervolgens opnieuw met de bewerking beginnen.
10) Als de levensmiddelen zijn fi jngehakt, laat u het motorblok 2 en eventueel
de turbo-toets 1 los.
11) Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact.

12) Wacht tot het mes 6 stilstaat.
13) Til het motorblok 2 van het deksel 3 en neem het af.

► Haal nooit de levensmiddelen uit de kom 7, zolang het mes 6 nog draait.
Er bestaat gevaar voor letsel en de inhoud kan eruit spatten, wat tot verontreinigingen kan leiden.

► Bij de omgang met het extreem scherpe mes 6 bestaat er letselgevaar.
Zorg dat kinderen niet bij het mes 6 kunnen komen.
14) Trek de meshouder met het mes 6 voorzichtig uit de kom 7.
15) Haal de levensmiddelen uit de kom.
OPMERKING
Door het fi jnhakken van hardere, schurende levensmiddelen kan de kom 7 er
►
na verloop van tijd mat gaan uitzien. Dit is normaal en heeft geen nadelige
invloed op het functioneren van het apparaat.
OPMERKING
U kunt de standvoet 8, nadat de levensmiddelen zijn verwerkt, als deksel
►
voor de kom 7 gebruiken, om de levensmiddelen langer vers te houden.
► Neem het motorblok 2 en het deksel 3 van de kom 7 af.
► De meshouder 5 met het mes 6 kan desgewenst in de kom 7 blijven.
► Maak de standvoet 8 los van de onderkant van de kom 7. U kunt de
standvoet 8 nu op de kom 7 zetten en in het midden erop drukken,
zodat de standvoet de kom 7 afsluit.
Reiniging en onderhoud
GEVAAR - STROOMSCHOK!
Vóór iedere reiniging de stekker uit het stopcontact halen! Anders bestaat
►
er gevaar voor een elektrische schok!
► Open nooit onderdelen van de behuizing. Hierin bevinden zich geen
bedieningselementen. Bij een geopende behuizing bestaat er levensgevaar
door een elektrische schok.
Dompel het apparaat nooit in water of in andere vloeistoff en! Er
kan levensgevaar ontstaan door een elektrische schok als tijdens het
gebruik vloeistofresten op spanningsgeleidende delen terechtkomen.

► Bij het omgaan met het extreem scherpe mes 6 bestaat er letselgevaar.
Zet het apparaat na gebruik en reiniging weer in elkaar, zodat u zich niet
aan het blootliggende mes 6 verwondt. Zorg dat kinderen niet bij het
mes 6 kunnen komen.

LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
Reinig het motorblok 2, de standvoet 8 en de afdichtring 4 niet in de
►
vaatwasser, deze zouden hierdoor beschadigd raken.
► Gebruik geen schurende of bijtende schoonmaakmiddelen. Die kunnen
het oppervlak aantasten en het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigen.
■ Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact.
■ Reinig het motorblok 2 met een vochtige doek. Droog het goed af.
■ Haal de afdichtring 4 uit het deksel 3 en maak de standvoet 8 los van
de kom 7.
■ De kom 7, het deksel 3 en de meshouder met het mes 6 zijn vaatwas-
machinebestendig.
■ Reinig de afdichtring 4 en de standvoet 8 in water en voeg een mild
afwasmiddel toe. Spoel daarna alle onderdelen af met schoon water, zodat
er geen afwasmiddelresten achterblijven. Droog alles goed af voordat u het
apparaat weer in elkaar zet.
Opbergen
■ Maak het apparaat schoon zoals beschreven in het hoofdstuk “Reiniging en
onderhoud”.
■ Berg het apparaat op een droge en schone plaats op.

U heeft op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de aankoopdatum. Het apparaat
is met de grootst mogelijke zorg vervaardigd en voorafgaand aan de levering
nauwkeurig gecontroleerd.
Bewaar a.u.b. de kassabon als aankoopbewijs. Mocht u aanspraak willen
maken op de garantie, neem dan telefonisch contact op met uw serviceadres.
Alleen op die manier is een kosteloze verzending van uw product gegarandeerd.
OPMERKING
Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor privégebruik en niet voor bedrijfsmatige
doeleinden. Bij verkeerd gebruik en ondeskundige behandeling, bij gebruik

► Always remove the power cable from the socket by pulling on the plug,

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is
no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

5) Ensure that the sealing ring 4 is inserted into the lid 3: the two rubber lips on
the sealing ring 4 must engage in the plastic rail in the interior of the lid 3.
6) Then close the bowl 7 with the lid 3: Place it on the bowl 7 so that the
lugs on the lid 3 engage in the slots on the bowl 7. Then turn the lid 3
so that the lugs slide unter the slots and the lid 3 locks into place.
7) Place the motor unit 2 on the lid 3.
8) Press the motor unit 2 down to start the motor at normal operating speed.
9) To obtain the higher processing speed "Turbo“ for the contents, in addition to
the motor unit 2 press and hold down the turbo button 1. As soon as you
release the turbo button 1 the appliance returns to the normal operating
speed.
NOTICE
Should larger pieces of the contents collect on the wall of the bowl while
►
processing, lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3. Shake the bowl 7 vigorously
and then continue with the processing. Remove possible residues with a
dough scraper.
► Before starting the processing, particularly hard foods must be cut into
smaller pieces (about 2cm). Otherwise, the motor will block. Select a
pulsating processing for hard foodstuff s. For this, press the turbo button
1 repeatedly for a short time (in addition to the motor block 2). Should
the foodstuff not be completely chopped, you can either cut it into smaller
pieces or lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3. Shake the bowl 7 vigor-
ously and then continue with the processing.
10) When the contents have been suffi ciently chopped, release the motor unit 2
and, if necessary, the turbo button 1.
11) Remove the power plug from the mains power socket.

13) Lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3 and remove it.

14) Carefully pull the blade holder with the blade 6 out of the bowl 7.
15) Remove the contents.

Due to the grinding of hard and abrasive foodstuff s, the bowl 7 can take

on a dull appearance over time. This is normal and does not infl uence the
functioning of the appliance.
NOTICE
You can use the appliance base 8, after the processing of the foods has

been completed, as a lid for the bowl 7, to help keep the food fresh for
longer.
► Take the motor unit 2 and lid 3 off of the bowl 7.
► The blade holder 5 with the blade 6 can, if you wish, remain in the
bowl 7.
► Disconnect the appliance base 8 from the underside of the bowl 7. You
can now place the appliance base 8 on the bowl 7 and press it in the
middle so that it closes the bowl 7.
Cleaning and care

Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket!

There is the risk of receiving an electric shock!
► Do not open any part of the housing. There are no user-serviceable elements
inside. An open housing can create the risk of a lethal electrical shock.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! This would
increase the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock should liquids
come into contact with power carrying components.

► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These could attack
the upper surfaces and irreparably damage the appliance.
■ Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
■ Clean the motor unit 2 with a moist cloth. Dry it well.
■ Remove the sealing ring 4 from the lid 3 and release the appliance base 8
from the bowl 7.
■ The bowl 7, the lid 3 and the blade holder with the blade 6 are dish-
washer safe.
■ Clean the sealing ring 4 and the appliance base 8 in water and add a mild
detergent. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean water so that no detergent
residues remain. Ensure that everything is dryed thoroughly before reassembling the appliance.

■ Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning and care".
■ Store the appliance in a dry and clean location.
