qualité. Le mode d'emploi fait partie de ce produit. Il contient des remarques importantes concernant la sécurité, l'usage et la mise au rebut. Avant d'utiliser le produit, veuillez vous familiariser avec toutes les consignes d'utilisation et de sécurité. N'utilisez le produit que conformément aux consignes et pour les domaines d'utilisation prévus. Si vous cédez le produit à un tiers, remettez-lui également tous les documents.

Consignes de sécurité

Lisez avec attention les consignes de sécurité importantes suivantes et conservez-les pour pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.

DANGER - RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION!

► Branchez l'appareil exclusivement à une prise électrique correctement

installée et mise à la terre. La tension secteur doit correspondre aux indications ﬁ gurant sur la plaque signalétique de l'appareil.

► Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit pas mouillé ou humide pen-

dant le fonctionnement. Posez-le, aﬁ n qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.

► Maintenez le cordon d'alimentation à l'écart de sources de chaleur. Ne le

faites pas passer devant la porte du micro-ondes. La chaleur risque d'endommager le cordon.

► Retirez toujours la ﬁ che secteur de la prise électrique, lorsque vous nettoyez

l'appareil ou en cas de dérangement. Mettre l'appareil à l'arrêt n'est pas suﬃ sant en raison de la présence de tension électrique dans l'appareil tant que celui-ci reste branché.

► Débranchez la ﬁ che secteur de la prise électrique, lorsque vous n'utilisez

pas l'appareil !

► Faites immédiatement remplacer la ﬁ che secteur ou le cordon d'alimentation

endommagé par des techniciens spécialisés agréés ou par le service aprèsvente pour éviter tout risque.

► Tenir l'appareil et son cordon de raccordement hors de portée des enfants. ► Ne plongez jamais le cordon d'alimentation ou la ﬁ che secteur dans l'eau

ou d'autres liquides.

► Ne versez jamais de liquides dans les ouvertures d'aération ou les verrouil-

lages de sécurité de la porte. Si de l'eau pénètre, éteignez immédiatement le micro-ondes et débranchez la ﬁ che de la prise électrique. Faites contrôler le micro-ondes par des techniciens qualiﬁ és.

à cet eﬀ et, de réaliser des travaux de réparation ou d'entretien quelconques qui nécessitent le retrait d'un cache protégeant contre l'exposition aux radiations causées par l'énergie du micro-ondes.

► Ne réalisez pas de travaux de réparation sur l'appareil. Toutes les répara-

tions doivent être eﬀ ectuées par le service après-vente ou par des techniciens qualiﬁ és.

► Ne touchez jamais la porte du micro-ondes, le boîtier, les ouvertures

d'aération, les accessoires ou la vaisselle juste après la cuisson. Ces pièces chauﬀ ent fortement. Laissez refroidir ces pièces avant de les nettoyer.

► Veillez à ce que la ﬁ che secteur soit toujours facilement accessible, aﬁ n que

vous puissiez la débrancher rapidement du réseau en cas d'urgence.

► Ne laissez jamais traîner le cordon d'alimentation sur la table ou le plan de

travail. Les enfants pourraient le tirer.

► Ouvrez toujours les boîtes, les sachets de pop-corn, etc. après la cuisson

en éloignant l'ouverture de votre corps. La vapeur qui s'échappe peut provoquer des brûlures.

► Ne vous placez jamais directement devant le micro-ondes, lorsque vous

ouvrez la porte. La vapeur qui s'échappe peut provoquer des brûlures.

► Ne pas faire frire des aliments dans le micro-ondes. L'huile très chaude peut

endommager les pièces de l'appareil et les ustensiles, voire même causer des brûlures cutanées.

► Secouez ou remuez systématiquement les biberons en verre ou plastique

réchauﬀ és ! Le contenu peut avoir été réchauﬀ é de manière irrégulière et le bébé risque de se brûler au contenu. Contrôlez en tous cas la température avant de le donner à votre enfant !

► Ne modiﬁ ez pas la construction du micro-ondes. ► Avant la consommation, contrôlez la température pour éviter les brûlures

qui pourraient s'avérer mortelles pour les bébés. Les ustensiles de cuisson peuvent être très chauds en raison de la chaleur transmise par les aliments réchauﬀ és, ce qui nécessite éventuellement l'utilisation d'une manique. Il faut donc vériﬁ er si les ustensiles de cuisine sont compatibles au micro-ondes.

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURES!

► Lors du réchauﬀ ement de boissons dans le micro-ondes, un bouillonnement

retardé peut se produire, lorsque la boisson est portée à ébullition. Soyez donc très prudent, lorsque vous manipulez le récipient. Pour éviter les risques d'accident et de blessures :

– Si possible, placez une tige en verre dans le liquide tant qu'il est chauﬀ é. – Laissez reposer le liquide pendant 20 secondes dans le micro-ondes

après l'avoir chauﬀ é, pour éviter tout bouillonnement inattendu.

► Soyez très prudent, lorsque vous faites chauﬀ er des liquides. N'utilisez que

des récipients ouverts, aﬁ n de permettre aux bulles d'air qui se forment de s'échapper.

► Les œufs à la coque et les œufs durs ne doivent pas être chauﬀ és au micro-

ondes, car ils risquent d'exploser même après la cuisson dans le microondes. Il faut piquer les aliments ayant une peau dure comme des pommes de terre, des citrouilles entières, des pommes ou des châtaignes avant la cuisson.

► Sécher des plats ou des vêtements et réchauﬀ er des coussins chauﬀ ants,

chaussons, éponges, chiﬀ ons humides et similaires peut entraîner des blessures, une inﬂ ammation ou un incendie.

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE D'INCENDIE!

► Lors du réchauﬀ ement de plats dans des récipients en papier ou en

plastique, l'appareil de cuisson doit être contrôlé fréquemment à cause du risque d'inﬂ ammation.

► Ne placez pas de matériaux inﬂ ammables à proximité du micro-ondes ou

des ouvertures d'aération.

► Enlevez toutes les fermetures métalliques présentes sur l'emballage des

aliments à chauﬀ er. Risque d'incendie!

► Pour la préparation du popcorn, utilisez uniquement des sachets de

popcorn compatibles au micro-ondes.

► N'utilisez pas le micro-ondes pour réchauﬀ er des coussins contenant des

graines, des noyaux de cerise ou du gel. Risque d'incendie!

► N'utilisez pas le micro-ondes pour stocker des aliments ou d'autres choses. ► Ne dépassez jamais les temps de cuisson préconisés par le fabricant. ► Ne posez pas d'objets sur le micro-ondes, lorsque celui-ci fonctionne. Les

ouvertures d'aération seraient recouvertes !

► Ne placez pas le micro-ondes à proximité d'autres appareils diﬀ usant de

la chaleur tel qu'un four.

► Nettoyez soigneusement le micro-ondes après avoir chauﬀ é des plats

contenant des matières grasses notamment s'ils n'étaient pas recouverts. D'éventuels résidus pourraient surchauﬀ er et s'enﬂ ammer. Laissez l'appareil refroidir complètement avant de le nettoyer.

► Ne décongelez pas de la graisse ou de l'huile congelée dans le micro-

ondes. La graisse ou l'huile risque de s'enﬂ ammer.

► N'utilisez pas de minuterie externe ni de dispositif de commande à distance

séparé pour faire fonctionner l'appareil.

► Si l'appareil dégage de la fumée, éteindre l'appareil ou le débrancher et

laisser la porte fermée pour étouﬀ er toutes ﬂ ammes éventuelles.

► Ne placez pas de récipient en plastique dans le micro-ondes immédiate-

ment après avoir utilisé le mode grill, combiné ou automatique. Le plastique risque de fondre !

► Maintenez une distance minimale de 10 cm entre l’appareil et les murs

adjacents. Maintenez un écart d’au moins 20 cm au-dessus du micro-ondes.

► N'utilisez jamais l'appareil en mode "Micro-ondes" ou la cuisson en mode

combiné sans charge !

► Ne faites pas fonctionner le micro-ondes, lorsqu'il est vide. ► N'insérez pas d'objets dans les ouvertures d'aération ou les verrouillages de

sécurité de la porte.

► N'utilisez pas d'ustensiles métalliques, car ils réﬂ échissent les micro-ondes

et produisent des étincelles. Ne placez pas de boîte en tôle dans le microondes.

► Le micro-ondes ne doit pas être utilisé dans des locaux très humides ou dans

lesquels l'humidité se concentre.

► Ne vous appuyez pas sur la porte du micro-ondes. ► Si l'appareil de cuisson se trouve dans un état de propreté insuﬃ sante,

la surface risque de se détériorer, ce qui réduit sa durée de vie et peut entraîner des situations dangereuses.

► Ne déplacez pas le micro-ondes pendant qu'il fonctionne.

Indications relatives à la mise à la terre / à l'installation

■ L'appareil présent doit être mis à la terre. Cet

appareil doit être raccordé à une prise électrique mise à la terre de manière conforme. Il est recommandé d'utiliser un circuit électrique individuel qui alimente uniquement le micro-ondes.

responsabilité pour les dommages du microondes ou corporels suite au non-respect des indications relatives à la procédure du raccordement électrique.

Interférences avec d'autres appareils

La mise en service du micro-ondes peut entraîner des perturbations sur votre radio, votre téléviseur ou d'appareils similaires.

Si de telles interférences devaient se produire, il est possible de les réduire ou de les éliminer en prenant les mesures suivantes :

■ Nettoyez la porte et la surface d'étanchéité du

micro-ondes.

■ Réorientez l'antenne de réception de la radio

ou du téléviseur.

■ Placez le micro-ondes à un autre endroit que

celui où se trouve le récepteur.

■ Éloignez le micro-ondes du récepteur.

■ Branchez le micro-ondes dans une autre prise.

Le micro-ondes et le récepteur doivent utiliser une section diﬀ érente du circuit électrique.

Avant de commencer

■ Il est plutôt recommandé d'utiliser de la vaisselle

ronde/ovale au lieu de la vaisselle rectangulaire/ longue étant donné que les aliments se trouvant dans les angles risquent d'être trop cuits. La liste ci-après doit être considérée comme une aide générale pour le choix correct de la vaisselle.

Principes fondamentaux lors de la cuisson au micro-ondes

■ Ordonnez les aliments de manière correcte.

■ Placez notamment les morceaux les plus gros

près des bords.

■ Veillez au temps de cuisson. Sélectionnez

le temps de cuisson le plus court indiqué et prolongez-le en cas de besoin. Des aliments cuits trop longtemps peuvent commencer à fumer ou s'enﬂ ammer.

■ En cours de cuisson, recouvrez les plats avec

un couvercle compatible au micro-ondes. Le couvercle empêche les éclaboussures et contribue également à la cuisson uniforme des aliments.

■ Pendant la préparation au micro-ondes, retournez

les aliments, aﬁ n que les plats comme le poulet ou les hamburgers soient plus rapidement cuits dans leur intégralité.

■ Les aliments de gross taille comme un rôti

doivent être retournés au moins une fois.

■ Il est recommandé de remuer entièrement les

aliments comme par exemple des boulettes de viande à mi-cuisson. Retournez les boulettes et déplacez-les du milieu de l'assiette vers le bord.

Récipient de cuisson approprié

■ Le matériau idéal pour un four à micro-ondes

laisse passer les micro-ondes et par conséquent l'énergie à travers le récipient, pour réchauﬀ er les aliments. Les micro-ondes ne passent pas à travers le métal. C'est la raison pour laquelle il ne faut pas utiliser de récipient ou de vaisselle métallique.

■ N'utilisez pas de produits en papier recyclé pour

le réchauﬀ ement au micro-ondes. Ces derniers peuvent contenir de minuscules fragments métalliques et générer des étincelles et/ou un incendie.

► N'utilisez jamais le support grill e ou

d'autres objets métalliques, lorsque vous utilisez le micro-ondes en mode micro-ondes ou cuisson combinée. Le métal reﬂ ète le rayonnement des micro-ondes et entraîne ainsi la formation d'étincelles. Cela peut provoquer un incendie et endommager l'appareil de manière irréparable !

d'une cuisinière ou d'un appareil générant de la chaleur. Une installation à un tel endroit pourrait provoquer l'endommagement de l'appareil et par conséquent l'annulation de la garantie.

Installer l'appareil

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE

D'INCENDIE!

► Ce micro-ondes n'estpas conçu pour être

monté dans un placard de cuisine. En eﬀ et, dans des armoires fermées, l'aération de l'appareil est insuﬃ sante. L'appareil peut être endommagé et il y arisque d'incendie !

■ Choisissez une surface plane, pour disposer

d'un espace suﬃ sant pour l'aération et la ventilation de l'appareil :

■ Maintenez une distance minimale de 10 cm

entre l'appareil et les murs adjacents. Assurezvous que la porte du micro-ondes puisse être ouverte correctement.

■ Maintenez un écart d'au moins 20 cm au-dessus

du micro-ondes.

■ Assurez-vous que la ﬁ che secteur soit toujours

facilement accessible, pour y accéder et la débrancherfacilement en cas de danger.

■ Ne retirez pas les pieds de l'appareil à micro-

ondes.

■ Ne bloquez pas les fentes d'aération 5.

Sinon, l'appareil risque d'être endommagé.

■ Installez l'appareil le plus loin possible des

appareils radio et de télévision. Le fonctionnement du micro-ondes peut causer des interférences sur la radio ou le téléviseur.

Préparez l'appareil

1) Retirez tous les matériaux d'emballage et les éventuels autocollants de l'appareil.

REMARQUE

Ne retirez pas la plaque de recou- vrement en mica, car elle sert de protection pour les tubes magnétrons dans l'espace de cuisson.

2) Placez le support en étoile 3 sur l'axe d'entraînement dans l'espace de cuisson, aﬁ n qu'il soit logé correctement sur l'axe.

3) Installez l'assiette en verre 2 au milieu du support en étoile 3.

4) Branchez la ﬁ che secteur dans une prise électrique. Utilisez une prise électrique de 230 240 V ~, 50 Hz avec un fusible de 16 A. Il est recommandé d'utiliser un circuit électrique individuel pour l'alimentation du micro-ondes. Si vous n'êtes pas sûr de la manière dont vous souhaitez raccorder le micro-ondes, faites appel à un expert.

Avant de pouvoir utiliser le micro-ondes, vous devez tout d'abord chauﬀ er l'appareil à vide, aﬁ n que tous les résidus liés à la fabrication s'évaporent.

Placez un récipient rempli d'eau compatible au micro-ondes et thermorésistant dans le micro-ondes.

Mettez l'appareil en marche en mode grill :

1) Appuyez une fois sur la touche Grill q Vous sélectionnez ainsi le mode Grill. L'icône s'aﬃ che sur l'écran 1.

2) Réglez avec le bouton de sélection 9 une

durée de cuisson de 3 minutes.

3) Appuyez sur la touche Démarrage/Démarrage

REMARQUE

En raison de résidus liés à la fabrication, la

première mise en service peut entraîner légèrement des odeurs ou de la fumée. Ceci est absolument inoﬀ ensif. Veillez à une aération suﬃ sante. Ouvrez par exemple une fenêtre.

4) L'appareil s'arrête automatiquement après 3 minutes. Des signaux sonores retentissent.

5) Ouvrez la porte. Attendez que l'appareil soit entièrement refroidi.

6) Retirez la ﬁ che secteur de la prise électrique et nettoyez l'appareil, le support en étoile 3 et l'assiette en verre 2 avec un chiﬀ on humide et séchez-les avec soin.

Utilisation

Réglage de l'heure

Lorsque vous mettez le micro-ondes en service pour la première fois ou après une coupure d'électricité, l'écran 1 aﬃ che "1 : 0 1 ".

1) Appuyez sur la touche Minuterie de cuisine/ horloge 6, jusqu'à ce que "Hr 12" apparaisse sur l'écran 1. Si vous souhaitez passer en mode 24 heures, tournez le bouton de sélection 9, jusqu'à ce que "Hr 24" apparaisse. Conﬁ rmez votre sélection en appuyant sur la touche Démarrage/Démarrage rapide 9

2) Réglez l'heure souhaitée en tournant le bouton de sélection 9.

3) Appuyez sur la touche Démarrage/Démarrage rapide 9

4) Réglez les minutes souhaitées en tournant le bouton de sélection sur 9.

5) Lorsque l'heure estréglée correctement, appuyez sur la touche Démarrage/démarrage rapide 9

Réglage de la minuterie de cuisine

Le micro-ondes dispose d'une minuterie de cuisine, que vous pouvez utiliser indépendamment du fonctionnement du micro-ondes.

1) Appuyez sur la touche Minuterie/horloge 6

, lorsque l'appareil est en mode veille. Sur

Programmes en détail

Programme 1 : Pâtes

Ce programme ne fonctionne qu'en utilisant la puissance des micro-ondes. Selon le poids déﬁ ni, le programme demande de 25 à 35 minutes.

■ Utilisez un récipient haut pour faire cuire les

pâtes, pour éviter tout risque de débordement.

■ Utilisez autant d'eau que lors de la cuisson

conventionnelle. Les pâtes doivent "nager" dans l'eau.

■ Commencez par faire chauﬀ er l'eau.

– Réglez le niveau de puissance le plus élevé

du micro-ondes (P800) et démarrez-le. Pour un litre d'eau, vous avez besoin de 10 minutes environ jusqu'à ce que l'eau soit à ébullition.

■ Ajoutez ensuite les pâtes avec précaution. Vous

pouvez ensuite démarrer le menu automatique pour les pâtes.

■ Laissez ensuite reposer les pâtes pendant env.

■ Utilisez un récipient haut pour faire cuire le

riz pour éviter tout risque de débordement. Prenez par ex. 400 ml d'eau pour 200 g de riz. Malgré l'eau, utilisez le réglage de poids "200g". Le poids du riz est toujours réglé.

■ Mettez le riz dans le récipient, remplissez le

liquide nécessaire et laissez le riz gonﬂ er pendant env. 3 minutes.

■ Recouvrez le récipient. Veillez à ce qu'il ne soit

pas fermé de manière étanche à l'air. Vous pouvez alors démarrer le menu automatique pour le riz.

Programme 4 : Poulet

Ce programme se déroule en plusieurs niveaux de cuisson avec la puissance des micro-ondes et la fonction grill. Selon le poids déﬁ ni, le programme demande de 39 à 50 minutes.

■ Posez le poulet sur une assiette adaptée au

Pour éviter toute ébullition soudaine :

■ Nettoyez également régulièrement l'assiette

en verre 2. Vous pouvez nettoyer l'assiette en verre 2 au lave-vaisselle ou à l'eau chaude avec un peu de liquide vaisselle.

■ Essuyez le support en étoile 3 à l'aide d'un

chiﬀ on humide.

■ Nettoyez le support grill e dans de l'eau de

vaisselle chaude et séchez-le bien.

■ Éliminez régulièrement les odeurs. Placez un

récipient profond pour micro-ondes avec une tasse remplie d'eau, du jus et du zeste de citron dans le micro-ondes. Réchauﬀ ez ce dernier pendant 5 minutes. Essuyez-le bien et séchez-le avec un chiﬀ on doux.

■ S'il faut remplacer l'ampoule du micro-ondes,

demandez alors à un revendeur de la remplacer ou contactez notre service après-vente.

■ La prise électrique est défectueuse. Essayez

de brancher l'appareil sur une autre prise électrique.

■ L'écran 1 est défectueux. Contactez le service

après-vente.

L'appareil ne réagit pas, lorsque vous appuyez sur les touches.

■ La sécurité enfant est activée. Désactiver la

sécurité enfant (voir le chapitre "Opération").

L'appareil ne démarre pas la cuisson.

Lesen Sie die folgenden wichtigen Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig und bewahren Sie diese für den weiteren Gebrauch auf!

GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!

► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte und

geerdete Netzsteckdose an. Die Netzspannung muss mit den Angaben auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass oder feucht

wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt werden kann.

► Halten Sie das Netzkabel von Hitzequellen fern. Führen Sie es nicht vor der

Mikrowellentür her. Die Hitze kann das Kabel beschädigen.

► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, wenn das Gerät

gereinigt wird oder im Fehlerfall. Ausschalten alleine genügt nicht, weil noch immer Netzspannung im Gerät anliegt, solange der Netzstecker in der Netzsteckdose steckt.

► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, wenn das Gerät nicht

benutzt wird!

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisier-

tem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Das Gerät und seine Anschlussleitung sind von Kindern fernzuhalten. ► Tauchen Sie nie das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker in Wasser oder

andere Flüssigkeiten.

► Schütten Sie niemals Flüssigkeiten in die Lüftungsöﬀ nungen oder die Si-

cherheits-Türverriegelungen. Sollte doch Flüssigkeit hineingelangen, stellen Sie die Mikrowelle sofort aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Lassen Sie die Mikrowelle von qualiﬁ ziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen.

Mikrowelle auf keinen Fall weiter. Lassen Sie sie sofort von qualiﬁ ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Versuchen Sie nie das Gerät selber zu reparieren. Durch das Abnehmen

des Gehäuses kann Mikrowellenenergie freigesetzt werden. Lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von qualiﬁ ziertem Fachpersonal durchführen.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber und von Personen

► Es ist gefährlich für alle anderen, außer für eine dafür ausgebildete Person,

irgendwelche Wartungs- oder Reparaturarbeit auszuführen, die die Entfernung einer Abdeckung erfordert, die den Schutz gegen Strahlenbelastung durch Mikrowellenernergie sicherstellt.

► Führen Sie keine Reparaturarbeiten am Gerät durch. Jegliche Reparaturen

müssen durch den Kundendienst oder von qualiﬁ ziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.

► Berühren Sie nie die Mikrowellentür, das Mikrowellengehäuse, die Lüftungs-

öﬀ nungen, Zubehörteile oder das Essgeschirr direkt nach dem Garvorgang. Die Teile werden sehr heiß. Lassen Sie vor dem Reinigen die Teile abkühlen.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass der Netzstecker immer gut zu erreichen ist, damit

Sie diesen im Notfall schnell vom Stromnetz trennen können.

► Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nie über den Tisch oder die Arbeitsplatte hän-

gen. Kinder könnten daran ziehen.

► Öﬀ nen Sie Dosen, Popcorntüten etc. nach dem Erhitzen immer so, dass die

Öﬀ nung von Ihrem Körper weg zeigt. Austretender Dampf kann zu Verbrühungen führen.

► Stellen Sie sich nie direkt vor die Mikrowelle, wenn Sie die Tür öﬀ nen. Aus-

tretender Dampf kann zu Verbrühungen führen.

► Frittieren Sie nicht in der Mikrowelle. Heißes Öl kann Geräteteile und Uten-

silien beschädigen und sogar Hautverbrennungen hervorrufen.

► Schütteln oder rühren Sie aufgewärmte Babygläschen oder Babyﬂ äschchen

auf jeden Fall um! Der Inhalt kann sich ungleichmäßig erhitzt haben und das Baby kann sich am Inhalt verbrennen. Kontrollieren Sie auf jeden Fall die Temperatur, bevor Sie Ihr Baby füttern!

► Bauen Sie die Mikrowelle nicht um. ► Überprüfen Sie vor dem Verzehr die Temperatur, um für Babys u. U. lebens-

gefährliche Verbrennungen zu vermeiden. Kochutensilien können durch die von den erhitzten Speisen abgegebene Hitze heiß werden, so dass sie sich eventuell nur mit Topﬂ appen anfassen lassen. Die Kochutensilien müssen daraufhin geprüft werden, ob sie mikrowellengeeignet sind.

► Beim Erhitzen von Getränken in der Mikrowelle kann es zu einem zeitlich

verzögerten Sprudeln kommen, wenn das Getränk kocht. Seien Sie deshalb vorsichtig beim Hantieren mit dem Gefäß. Um plötzliches Sieden und Verletzungsgefahr zu vermeiden:

– Stellen Sie, wenn möglich, einen Glasstab in die Flüssigkeit, solange

diese erhitzt wird.

– Lassen Sie die Flüssigkeit nach dem Erhitzen 20 Sekunden in der Mikro-

welle stehen, um unerwartetes Aufbrodeln zu vermeiden.

► Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Erhitzen von Flüssigkeiten. Benutzen Sie nur oﬀ e-

ne Gefäße, damit entstehende Luftblasen entweichen können.

► Eier in der Schale und hart gekochte Eier dürfen nicht in der Mikrowelle

erhitzt werden, da sie selbst noch nach der Beendigung des Erhitzens in der Mikrowelle explodieren können. Nahrungsmittel mit dicker Schale, wie etwa Kartoﬀ eln, Würstchen, ganze Kürbisse, Äpfel und Kastanien vor dem Kochen einstechen.

► Das Trocknen von Speisen oder Kleidung und Erwärmung von Heizkissen,

Hausschuhen, Schwämmen, feuchten Putzlappen und Ähnlichem kann zu Verletzungen, Entzündungen oder Feuer führen.

► Beim Erwärmen von Speisen in Kunststoﬀ - oder Papierbehältern muss das

Kochgerät häuﬁ g wegen der Möglichkeit einer Entzündung beaufsichtigt werden.

► Stellen Sie keine brennbaren Materialien in der Nähe der Mikrowelle oder

der Lüftungsöﬀ nungen auf.

► Entfernen Sie alle metallischen Verschlüsse der Verpackungen von Lebens-

mittel, die Sie erhitzen wollen. Brandgefahr!

► Benutzen Sie zur Herstellung von Popcorn nur mikrowellengeeignete

Popcorn-Tüten.

WARNUNG! BRANDGEFAHR!

► Benutzen Sie die Mikrowelle nicht, um mit Körnern, Kirschkernen oder Gel

gefüllte Kissen zu erhitzen. Brandgefahr!

► Benutzen Sie die Mikrowelle nicht zur Lagerung von Lebensmitteln oder

anderen Dingen.

► Überschreiten Sie nie die vom Hersteller angegebenen Garzeiten. ► Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf die Mikrowelle, während diese in Be-

trieb ist. Die Lüftungsöﬀ nungen werden verdeckt!

► Stellen Sie die Mikrowelle nicht in der Nähe von anderen Hitze absondern-

den Geräten, wie zum Beispiel einem Backofen, auf.

► Reinigen Sie die Mikrowelle nach dem Erhitzen von fetthaltigen Speisen,

insbesondere wenn diese nicht abgedeckt waren, gründlich. Eventuelle Rückstände könnten überhitzen und sich entzünden. Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen.

► Tauen Sie kein gefrorenes Fett oder Öl in der Mikrowelle auf. Das Fett oder

Öl kann sich entzünden.

► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fernwirksys-

tem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.

► Wenn das Gerät Rauch abgibt, ist das Gerät abzuschalten oder der Ste-

cker zu ziehen und die Tür geschlossen zu halten, um eventuell auftretende Flammen zu ersticken.

► Stellen Sie keine Plastikbehälter sofort nach einem Grill-, Kombi- oder

Automatikmenü-Vorgang in die Mikrowelle. Das Plastik kann schmelzen!

► Halten Sie zwischen Gerät und den angrenzenden Wänden einen Mindest-

abstand von 10 cm unbedingt ein. Halten Sie über der Mikrowelle einen Abstand von mindestens 20 cm.

zu Funkenbildung führen. Stellen Sie keine Blechdosen in die Mikrowelle.

► Die Mikrowelle darf nicht an Orten mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, oder wo sich

Feuchtigkeit sammelt, aufgestellt werden.

► Lehnen Sie sich nicht auf die Mikrowellentür. ► Mangelhafte Sauberkeit des Kochgerätes kann zu einer Zerstörung der

Oberﬂ äche führen, die ihrerseits die Gebrauchsdauer beeinﬂ usst und möglicherweise zu gefährlichen Situationen führt.

► Bewegen Sie die Mikrowelle nicht, während sie in Betrieb ist.

Erdungshinweise/Installation

■ Das vorliegende Gerät muss geerdet sein.

Dieses Gerät ist nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig geerdete Steckdose anzuschließen. Es wird empfohlen, einen eigenen Stromkreis zu verwenden, der nur die Mikrowelle versorgt.

Funkstörungen bei anderen Geräten

Der Betrieb der Mikrowelle kann Störungen bei Ihrem Radio, Fernseher oder ähnlichen Geräten hervorrufen.

Falls solche Interferenzen auftreten sollten, lassen sie sich mit Hilfe der folgenden Maßnahmen vermindern oder ausschalten:

■ Säubern Sie die Tür und die Dichtﬂ äche der

Mikrowelle.

■ Richten Sie die Empfangsantenne des Radios

oder Fernsehers neu aus.

■ Stellen Sie die Mikrowelle an einen anderen Ort

als den, an dem der Empfänger steht.

■ Entfernen Sie die Mikrowelle vom Empfänger.

■ Stecken Sie die Mikrowelle in eine andere Steck-

dose ein. Mikrowelle und Empfänger sollten einen unterschiedlichen Zweig des Stromkreises in Anspruch nehmen.

Bevor Sie beginnen

Grundprinzipien beim Kochen in der Mikrowelle

■ Ordnen Sie die Speisen wohlbedacht an.

■ Die dicksten Stellen kommen in Randnähe.

■ Achten Sie auf die Garzeit. Wählen Sie die

kürzeste angegebene Garzeit und verlängern Sie diese bei Bedarf. Massiv zu lange gekochte Speisen können zu rauchen beginnen oder sich entzünden.

■ Versehen Sie die Speisen während des Garens

mit einem für die Mikrowelle geeigneten Deckel. Der Deckel verhindert ein Spritzen und trägt außerdem dazu bei, dass Speisen gleichmäßig gar werden.

■ Wenden Sie die Speisen während der Zuberei-

tung in der Mikrowelle einmal, damit Gerichte wie Hähnchen oder Hamburger schneller „durch“ sind.

■ Große Lebensmittelstücke, wie etwa Braten,

müssen mindestens einmal gewendet werden.

■ Sortieren Sie Lebensmittelteile wie etwa Hack-

bällchen nach der halben Garzeit komplett um. Wenden Sie sie und platzieren Sie die Hackbällchen von der Mitte des Geschirrs an den Rand.

Geeignetes Kochgeschirr

■ Das ideale Material für einen Mikrowellenherd

ist mikrowellendurchlässig, lässt also die Energie durch den Behälter hindurch, um die Speise zu erwärmen. Mikrowellen sind nicht in der Lage, Metall zu durchdringen. Aus diesem Grund dürfen keine Metallgefäße und kein Metallgeschirr verwendet werden.

■ Verwenden Sie beim Erhitzen in der Mikrowelle

keine Erzeugnisse aus Recyclingpapier. Diese können winzige Metallfragmente enthalten, die Funken und/oder Brände erzeugen können.

■ Es empﬁ ehlt sich eher rundes/ovales Geschirr

statt eckiges/längliches, da Speisen im Eckbereich leicht verkochen.

■ Die nachstehende Liste versteht sich als allgemeine

Hilfe für die Wahl des korrekten Geschirrs.

einen Küchenschrank geeignet. In geschlossenen Schränken ist die Belüftung des Gerätes nicht ausreichend gewährleistet. Das Gerät kann beschädigt werden und es besteht die Gefahr eines Brandes!

■ Wählen Sie eine ebene Fläche, die genug

Abstand für die Be- und Entlüftung des Gerätes lässt:

■ Halten Sie zwischen Gerät und den angrenzen-

den Wänden einen Mindestabstand von 10 cm unbedingt ein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich die Tür der Mikrowelle einwandfrei öﬀ nen lässt.

■ Halten Sie über der Mikrowelle einen Abstand

von mindestens 20 cm.

■ Sorgen Sie dafür, dass der Netzstecker

problemlos zugänglich ist, damit dieser im Fall von Gefahren mühelos erreicht und gezogen werden kann.

■ Entfernen Sie nicht die Füße unter dem Mikro-

wellengerät.

■ Blockieren Sie nicht die Lüftungsschlitze 5.

Andernfalls kann es zu Beschädigungen des Geräts kommen.

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät möglichst weit entfernt

von Radio- und Fernsehgeräten auf. Der Betrieb der Mikrowelle kann Störungen des Radio- oder Fernsehempfangs hervorrufen.

Gerät vorbereiten

1) Entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial und eventuelle Aufkleber vom Gerät.

HINWEIS

Entfernen Sie nicht die hellgraue Glimmer-Abdeckplatte, die zum Schutz der Magnetfeldröhre im Garraum angebracht ist.

2) Setzen Sie den Rollenstern 3 auf die Antriebsachse im Garraum, so dass dieser fest auf der Antriebsachse sitzt.

3) Legen Sie den Glasteller 2 mittig auf den Rollenstern 3.

4) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose. Benutzen Sie eine 230 - 240 V ~, 50 Hz, Netzsteckdose mit einer 16 A Sicherung. Es wird empfohlen, dass ein eigener Stromkreis die Mikrowelle versorgt. Wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind, wie Sie die Mikrowelle anschließen sollen, ziehen Sie einen Fachmann zu Rate.

Vor dem Verwenden der Mikrowelle muss das Gerät zunächst ohne Lebensmittel aufgeheizt werden, damit fertigungsbedingte Rückstände verdampfen können.

Stellen Sie eine mikrowellengeeignete und hitzefeste Schüssel mit Wasser in die Mikrowelle.

Schalten Sie das Gerät in der Betriebsart Grillen ein:

1) Drücken Sie einmal die Taste Grill q wählen damit den Grillbetrieb. Im Display 1 erscheint das Symbol .

2) Stellen Sie mit dem Drehregler 9 eine Garzeit von 3 Minuten ein.

um den Grillvorgang zu starten.

HINWEIS

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme kann es durch

fertigungsbedingte Rückstande zu leichter Rauch- und Geruchsentwicklung kommen. Dieses ist unschädlich. Sorgen Sie für eine ausreichende Belüftung. Öﬀ nen Sie zum Beispiel ein Fenster.

4) Nach 3 Minuten schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Signaltöne erklingen.

5) Öﬀ nen Sie die Tür. Warten Sie, bis es vollständig abgekühlt ist.

6) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und reinigen Sie das Gerät, den Rollenstern 3 und den Glasteller 2 anschließend mit einem feuchten Tuch und trocknen Sie alles sorgfältig ab.

Küchentimer einstellen

Die Mikrowelle verfügt über einen Küchentimer, den Sie unabhängig vom Mikrowellenbetrieb einsetzen können.

1) Drücken Sie die Taste Timer/Uhr 6

wenn das Gerät im Standby-Betrieb ist. Im Display 1 erscheint „0:00“ und das Symbol für den Küchentimer

2) Stellen Sie nun mit dem Drehregler 9 die

gewünschte Zeit ein. Sie können Zeiteinstellungen von 10 Sekunden bis 95 Minuten vornehmen.

3) Drücken Sie die Taste Start/Schnellstart 9

Ein Signalton ertönt. Die Zeit zählt rückwärts herunter.

► Um die ablaufende Zeit des Küchentimers abzu-

brechen, drücken Sie die Taste Stop 8 . Der Küchentimer wird abgebrochen, das Symbol erlischt und die Uhrzeit erscheint im Display 1.

Bedienen

Uhr einstellen

Wenn Sie die Mikrowelle zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen oder ein Stromausfall vorlag, zeigt das Display 1 „1 : 0 1“ an.

1) Drücken und halten Sie die Taste Küchentimer/ Uhr 6, bis im Display 1 „Hr 12“ erscheint. Wenn Sie in den 24-Stunden- Modus wechseln wollen, drehen Sie am Drehregler 9, bis „Hr 24“ erscheint. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Wahl durch Drücken der Taste Start/Schnellstart

2) Stellen Sie nun durch Drehen am Drehregler 9 die gewünschte Stunde ein.

3) Drücken Sie die Taste Start/Schnellstart 9 Die Minutenangabe erscheint.

4) Stellen Sie durch Drehen am Drehregler 9 die gewünschten Minuten ein.

5) Wenn die Uhrzeit korrekt eingestellt ist, drücken Sie die Taste Start/Schnellstart 9 Doppelpunkt zeigt durch Blinken an, dass die Uhr läuft.

Wenn Sie den Küchentimer während einer

► Nachdem Sie den Küchentimer gestartet

haben, werden nach ca. 3 Sekunden wieder die Zeit und Einstellungen der gewählten Gar- oder Grillfunktion angezeigt. Der Küchentimer läuft im Hintergrund weiter, das Symbol im Display 1 zeigt an, dass der Küchentimer aktiv ist.

Wenn Sie zwischendurch die Zeit des Küchentimers kontrollieren wollen, drücken Sie die Taste Timer/Uhr 6 . Es erscheint für kurze Zeit der Küchentimer. Wenn die eingestellte Gar- oder Grillfunktion beendet ist, bevor die Zeit des Küchentimers abgelaufen ist, läuft der Küchentimer dennoch im Hintergrund weiter. 3 Signaltöne erklingen, sobald die Zeit abgelaufen ist und das Symbol erlischt.

Kindersicherung

Aktivieren Sie diese Einstellung, um eine unbeaufsichtigte Inbetriebnahme der Mikrowelle durch Kleinkinder und andere, nicht mit der Bedienung

vertraute Personen zu verhindern.

HINWEIS

Auf der Mikrowellentür oder dem Gehäuse können sich während eines Garvorgangs Wassertropfen bilden. Das ist normal und kein Zeichen für eine Fehlfunktion der Mikrowelle. Wischen Sie die Feuchtigkeit, nachdem sie abgekühlt ist, mit einem trockenen Tuch ab.

1) Drücken Sie die Taste Mikrowelle w . Im Display 1 erscheint „P800“ (800 Watt)und das Symbol .

2) Drehen Sie den Drehregler 9, um die gewünschte Leistung einzustellen (P800 - P100).

3) Bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl durch Drücken der Taste Start/Schnellstart 9

4) Wählen Sie nun die gewünschte Betriebszeit durch Drehen des Drehreglers 9.

5) Bestätigen Sie die eingestellte Betriebszeit durch Drücken der Taste Start/Schnellstart

Garvorgang unterbrechen

Drücken Sie einmal die Taste Stop 8 einen Garvorgang zu unterbrechen. Das Gerät unterbricht den Garvorgang und stoppt die noch verbleibende Zeit. Drücken Sie die Taste Start/ Schnellstart 9 fortzusetzen.

Garvorgang abbrechen

Drücken Sie zweimal die Taste Stop 8 einen Garvorgang abzubrechen. Das Gerät schaltet wieder in den Standby-Betrieb zurück.

Leistungsstufe abfragen

Drücken Sie während des Garvorganges die Taste Mikrowelle w Leistungsstufe wird kurz im Display 1 angezeigt (P100 - P800).

6) Wenn ein Garvorgang beendet ist, erscheint

Wenn das Gerät im Kombinations-Garvorgang betrieben wird, dürfen Kinder wegen der vorkommenden Temperaturen das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen benutzen.

Diese Funktion vereint die Grill-Funktion mit dem normalen Mikrowellenbetrieb. Während des Kombinationsvorgangs wird eine bestimmte Zeit für Garen und die übrige Zeit für Grillen automatisch und in einem Vorgang ausgeführt. Den Umschaltzeitpunkt des Gerätes können Sie durch ein leises Klicken wahrnehmen.

Bei der Kombination 1 beträgt die Mikrowellenleistung 30 % und die Grill-Leistung 70 % der Garzeit.

Dies ist z. B. geeignet für Fisch oder Gratins.

Beispiel „Einfaches Kartoﬀ elgratin”:

■ Schneiden Sie ca. 500 g Kartoﬀ eln in dünne

und würzen Sie alles mit Salz und Pfeﬀ er.

Ein Fertiggericht “Lasagne”, 400 g Gewicht, benötigt ca. 15 Minuten zum Garen.

Automatik-Menü

Für Speisen, die im Automatik-Menümodus zubereitet werden sollen, ist es nicht notwendig, die Dauer des Garvorgangs und die Leistungsstufe einzugeben. Es reicht vielmehr aus, wenn Sie eingeben, welche Art Lebensmittel gegart/gekocht werden soll, sowie das Gewicht dieses Lebensmittels.

Das Gefäß/der Teller sollte daher ausreichend groß sein, um überlaufende Flüssigkeiten zu vermeiden.

Bei Programmen, die unter Verwendung der Grillfunktion ablaufen (Programm-Nummer 4, 7 und 8), können Sie die Speisen mit der Grillfunktion nachgaren. Beim Nachgaren mit der Grillfunktion erhöht sich auch der Bräunungsgrad der Speisen.

Programme im Detail

Programm 1: Nudeln

Dieses Programm läuft nur unter Verwendung von Mikrowellenleistung ab. Je nach eingestelltem

Gewicht läuft das Programm zwischen 25 und 35 Minuten.

■ Verwenden Sie für das Kochen von Nudeln ein

hohes Gefäß, da die Gefahr des Überkochens besteht.

■ Verwenden Sie so viel Wasser wie beim konven-

tionellen Kochen. Die Nudeln sollten im Wasser „schwimmen“.

■ Kochen Sie zunächst das Wasser auf:

– Stellen Sie die höchste Leistungsstufe der

Mikrowelle (P800) ein und starten Sie sie. Für einen Liter Wasser benötigen Sie ca. 10 Minuten, um das Wasser zum Kochen zu bringen.

■ Geben Sie dann vorsichtig die Nudeln hinzu.

Danach können Sie das Automatik-Menü für Nudeln starten.

■ Lassen Sie die Nudeln anschließend ca. 3

Minuten ruhen.

Programm 2: Fisch

Dieses Programm läuft nur unter Verwendung von Mikrowellenleistung ab.

Je nach eingestelltem Gewicht läuft das Programm zwischen ca. 3:30 und 16 Minuten.

■ Legen Sie die Fischstücke auf einen mikrowel-

lengeeigneten Teller, geben Sie ein wenig Butter oder anderes Fett dazu, würzen Sie nach Geschmack und starten Sie das Automatik Menü für Fisch.

Programm 3: Reis

Dieses Programm läuft nur unter Verwendung von Mikrowellenleistung ab.

Je nach eingestelltem Gewicht läuft das Programm zwischen 16 und 36 Minuten.

■ Verwenden Sie für das Kochen von Reis ein

hohes Gefäß, da die Gefahr des Überkochens besteht. Nehmen Sie z. B. für 200 g Reis ca. 400 ml Wasser. Benutzen Sie trotz des Wassers die Gewichtseinstellung „200 g“. Es wird immer das Gewicht des Reises eingestellt.

■ Geben Sie den Reis in das Behältnis, füllen Sie

die benötigte Flüssigkeit auf und lassen Sie den Reis ca. 3 Minuten quellen.

■ Decken Sie das Behältnis ab. Achten Sie darauf,

dass es nicht luftdicht verschlossen ist. Danach können Sie das Automatik-Menü für Reis starten.

Programm 4: Hähnchen

Dieses Programm läuft in mehreren Garstufen unter Verwendung von Mikrowellenleistung und Grillfunktion ab. Je nach eingestelltem Gewicht läuft das Programm zwischen 39 und 50 Minuten.

■ Legen Sie das Hähnchen auf einen mikrowellen-

geeigneten Teller.

■ Würzen Sie nach Geschmack und starten Sie

das Automatik-Menü für Hähnchen.

■ Ein ganzes Hähnchen muss gewendet wer-

■ Stechen Sie die Schalen ein paar Mal ein.

■ Geben Sie die ungeschälten Kartoﬀ eln in einen

Mit dieser Funktion können Sie problemlos Fleisch, Geﬂ ügel, Gemüse und Fisch auftauen. Die Auftauzeit und die Leistungsstufe werden nach Eingabe des Gewichts automatisch errechnet und eingestellt.

Dieses Programm läuft nur unter Verwendung von Mikrowellenleistung ab. Je nach eingestellter Menge läuft das Programm zwischen 1:30 und 3:50 Minuten.

■ Stellen Sie das Getränk, das Sie erhitzen wollen,

auf den Glasteller 2 im Garraum. Wenn Sie mehrere Gläser bzw. Tassen in die Mikrowelle stellen, achten Sie darauf, dass sich die Gefäße nicht berühren.

HINWEIS

Um plötzliches Sieden zu vermeiden:

– Stellen Sie, wenn möglich, einen Glasstab

in die Flüssigkeit, solange sie erhitzt wird.

– Lassen Sie die Flüssigkeit nach dem

Erhitzen 20 Sekunden in der Mikrowelle stehen, um unerwartetes Sieden zu vermeiden.

Sie können mit diesem Programm eine bestimmte Startzeit für das Garen oder Grillen der Speisen vorprogrammieren. Wenn Sie die Einstellungen korrekt vorgenommen haben, startet das Gerät automatisch zur eingestellten Zeit.

■ Sollte ein Auswechseln der Lampe in der Mikro-

Read the following important safety information carefully and keep it for further reference.

DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!

► The appliance must only be connected to a correctly installed and earthed

mains power socket. Ensure that the rating for your local power supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the appliance.

► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during use.

Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged.

► Keep the power cable well away from sources of heat. Do not route it in

front of the microwave oven door. The heat could damage the cable.

► The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children. ► Never submerse the appliance, the power cable or the plug in water or

► It is dangerous for anyone apart from trained technicians to carry out main-

tenance or repair work that requires the removal of the housing, since this provides protection against radiation exposure due to microwave energy.

► Do not perform any repairs on the appliance. All repairs must be per-

formed by our Customer Service Unit or by a qualiﬁ ed specialist technician.

► Never touch the microwave oven door, housing, ventilation openings, ac-

cessories or the crockery directly after the cooking process. The parts will be very hot. Allow them to cool down before cleaning them.

► Ensure that the plug is easily accessible at all times, so that it can be re-

moved quickly in the event of an emergency.

► Do not allow the power cable to hang down from a table or work surface.

► After heating, always open containers, popcorn bags, etc. so that the

opening faces away from your body. Escaping steam could cause scalds.

► Never stand directly in front of the microwave oven when opening the door.

threatening burning injury, for instance, to babies. Cooking utensils can become hot from the heat emitted by the food, therefore you may require oven gloves to touch them. Cooking utensils must also be checked to ensure they are microwaveable.

► When heating drinks in the microwave, bubbling may be delayed when

the drink boils. Therefore, be careful when handling the container. To avoid sudden boiling or risks of injury:

– Place a glass rod in the liquid, if possible, for as long as it is being

heated.

– To avoid an unexpected reboiling, leave the liquid to stand in the micro-

wave oven for about 20 seconds after heating.

► Proceed with caution when heating liquids. Use only open containers, so

that any air bubbles produced can escape.

► Eggs in their shells and hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in the micro-

wave oven as they could explode, even after completion of the heating process. Food with thick skins, such as potatoes, whole pumpkins, apples and chestnuts must be pricked before cooking.

► The drying of foods or clothing or the warming of heating pads, slippers,

sponges, damp cloths or similar can lead to injuries, ignition of the material or ﬁ res.

► When heating food in plastic or paper containers, the cooking utensils

must be monitored frequently due to the danger of ignition.

► Do not place ﬂ ammable materials close to the microwave oven or the

ventilation openings.

► Remove all metallic closures from the packaging of the foodstuﬀ that you

intend to heat. Risk of ﬁ re!

► When making popcorn, use only microwaveable popcorn bags.

► Do not use the microwave oven to warm up cushions ﬁ lled with kernels,

► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote control system to

► Ensure that you maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm from neighbouring

walls/surfaces. Keep a gap of at least 20 cm free above the microwave.

Radio interference with other appliances

The operation of the microwave may cause interference on your radio, television or similar appliances.

If such interference occurs, it can be reduced or corrected by the following remedial measures:

■ Clean the door and the sealing surface of the

microwave.

■ Reorient the receiving antenna of the radio or

television.

■ Position the microwave in a diﬀ erent location to

the receiver.

■ Move the microwave away from the receiver.

■ Plug the microwave into another wall socket.

The microwave and the receiver should be connected to diﬀ erent circuits.

Before you begin

Basic principles of microwave cookery

■ Arrange the food with consideration.

■ Place the thickest parts near the edges.

■ Pay attention to the cooking time. Select the

shortest possible stated cooking time and increase as required. Food that is cooked too long can begin to smoke or catch ﬁ re.

■ Cover the food during cooking with a lid suit-

able for microwave cookery. The lid prevents splashing and helps in the even cooking of the food.

■ While cooking, turn the food in the microwave

once so that items such as chicken or hamburgers are cooked more quickly.

■ Large pieces of food, such as joints of meat,

must be turned at least once.

■ Completely rearrange foods, such as meatballs,

after half the cooking time. Turn them over and move the meatballs from the middle of the cookware to the edge.

Suitable cookware

■ The ideal material for a microwave oven is

microwave-permeable, allowing the energy to penetrate the container to heat the food. Microwaves cannot permeate metal. For this reason, metal containers and cookware should not be used.

■ When using the microwave for heating, do not

use products made of recycled paper. These can contain minute fragments of metal, which can generate sparks and/or ﬁ res.

■ We recommend the use of round/oval cook-

ware instead of square or oblong containers, as food in corner areas tends to overcook.

■ The following list provides general hints to assist

you in selecting the correct cookware.

Setting up the appliance

► This microwave oven is not suitable for instal-

lation in a kitchen cabinet. Suﬃ cient ventilation for the appliance cannot be assured in enclosed cabinets. The appliance could be damaged and there is an additional risk of a ﬁ re!

■ Select an level surface oﬀ ering suﬃ cient space

for the adequate ventilation of the appliance:

■ Ensure that you maintain a minimum clearance

of 10 cm from neighbouring walls/surfaces. Make sure that the door of the microwave oven can be opened easily.

■ Keep a gap of at least 20 cm free above the

microwave.

■ Ensure that the electrical plug is accessible with-

out problem, so that it can be easily reached and removed in case of danger.

■ Do not remove the feet underneath the micro-

wave oven.

■ Do not block the ventilation openings 5. If you

do, it could cause damage to the appliance.

■ Install the appliance as far away as possible

from radios and televisions. The operation of the microwave oven can cause malfunctions of radio and television reception.

Preparing the appliance

1) Remove all packaging materials and any stickers from the appliance.

NOTE

Do not remove the light grey mica cover plate, which is mounted in the cooking chamber to protect the magnetron.

2) Place the rotator assembly 3 on the drive axle in the cooking chamber so that this is ﬁ tted securely onto the drive axle.

3) Place the glass plate 2 centrally on the rotator assembly 3.

4) Insert the plug into a mains power socket. Use a 230–240V ~, 50 Hz, mains power socket with a 16 amp fuse. It is recommended that the microwave oven is powered from its own power circuit. If you are unsure about how to connect the microwave oven, consult a specialist.

Before using the microwave oven, the appliance must be heated up without food to remove any remaining production residues.

Place a microwaveable and heat-proof bowl ﬁ lled with water in the microwave.

6) Pull the mains plug from the socket and then clean the appliance, the rotator assembly 3 and the glass plate 2 with a damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.

Operation

Setting the kitchen timer

The microwave oven is provided with a kitchen timer which you can use independently of the microwave operation.

1) Press the Timer/clock button 6

When you use the microwave oven for the ﬁ rst time, or there has been a power cut, the display 1 shows “1 : 0 1”.

1) Press and hold the Timer/clock button 6 until “Hr 12” appears on the display 1. If you want to switch to 24-hour mode, turn the control dial 9 until “Hr 24” appears. Conﬁ rm your selection by pressing the Start/ Quick Start button 9

2) Now set the required hour by turning the control dial 9.

. The timer appears for a short time on the display. If the set cooking or grill function is ﬁ nished before the time has expired, the timer will continue to run in the background. You will hear 3 beeps as soon as the time has expired and the icon disappears.

Child lock

Activate this setting to prevent accidental operation by children or other persons not familiar with the operation of the appliance.

The child lock icon and the appliance cannot be put into operation as long as this function is activated.

■ Press and hold the Stop button 8 until you

hear a beep and the child lock icon on the display 1. The buttons and the control dial are now deactivated.

■ To deactivate the child lock, press and hold the

Stop button 8 until you hear an extended beep and the child lock icon

This function combines the grill function and the normal microwave operation. In combination mode, a certain amount of time is automatically set aside for cooking and the remaining time for grilling in a single process. You may notice a quiet clicking noise when the oven is switching between modes.

For foods that are prepared in the Automatic menu modus, it is not necessary to programme in the duration of the cooking process and the power level. You only need to enter the type of food you wish to cook and its weight.

Starting the Automatic Menu

NOTE

Always place the food item in a suitable container or on a plate. Bear in mind that liquids such as grease, etc. can drain from the food during the cooking or heating process. The container/plate should therefore be large enough to avoid the overﬂ owing of liquids.

1) Turn the control dial 9 slowly to the left. A

number (e.g. “A-02” for Auto Programme 2 (ﬁ sh)) appears on the display 1, and the “Fish” icon ﬂ ashes. Select the appropriate automatic menu for your foodstuﬀ (1 to 9). After you have selected automatic menu mode, you can also access the desired automatic menu with a clockwise rotation. Conﬁ rm your selection by pressing the Start/Quick Start

completion of the automatic menu, continue cooking for a couple of minutes using the Quick start programme. For programmes that involve the use of the grill function (programme numbers 4, 7 and 8), the food can be cooked further with the grill function. Continued cooking with the grill function also increases the browning of the food.

Programmes in detail

Programme 1: Pasta

This programme uses only microwave power. This programme runs for

between 25 and 35 minutes depending on the weight set.

■ When cooking pasta, use a tall container as

there is a risk of it boiling over.

■ Use the same amount of water as when cooking

pasta conventionally. The pasta should “ﬂ oat” in the water.

■ Boil the water ﬁ rst:

– set the highest possible microwave output

level of the microwave (P800) and start heating. You will need about 10 minutes to boil one litre of water.

■ Then carefully add the pasta. After this, you can

start the automatic menu for pasta.

■ Finally, allow the pasta to stand for approx.

3 minutes.

Programme 2: Fish

This programme uses only microwave power. This programme runs for between 3:30 and

16 minutes depending on the weight set.

■ Lay the pieces of ﬁ sh on a microwaveable plate,

add a little butter or another fat, add ﬂ avouring to taste and then start the automatic menu for ﬁ sh.

Programme 3: Rice

This programme uses only microwave power. Depending on the weight set, this programme runs

for between 16 and 36 minutes.

■ When cooking rice, use a tall container as there

is a risk of it boiling over. Use around 400 ml water for 200 g of rice. Regardless of the amount of water you use the weight setting “200 g”. Always use the weight of the rice for your setting.

■ Place the rice in the container, ﬁ ll it with the

required volume of liquid and then allow the rice to swell for approx 3 minutes.

■ Cover the container. Ensure that it is not sealed

airtight. After this, you can start the automatic menu for rice.

Programme 4: Chicken

This programme runs over several cooking stages, using microwave power and the grill function. Depending on the weight set, this programme runs for between 39 and 50 minutes.

■ Place the chicken on a microwaveable plate.

■ Season to taste and then start the automatic

menu for chicken.

■ A whole chicken must be turned over, otherwise

the side facing upwards could dry out. For this reason the microwave oven automatically halts the programme after about 2/3 of the time has elapsed and beeps. Turn the chicken and then press the Start/Quick start button 9 again to resume the programme.

Programme 5: Heating up

This programme uses only microwave power. This programme runs for between 1:00 and

6:20 minutes depending on the the weight set.

■ Place the plate with the food that you wish to

heat up on the glass plate 2 in the cooking chamber and then start the automatic menu for heating up.

Programme 6: Potatoes

This programme uses only microwave power. This programme runs for between 3:50 and

11 minutes depending on the the weight set.

■ Use unpeeled potatoes for the cooking process.

■ As far as possible, use potatoes of the same

size.

■ Prick the skins a couple of times.

■ Place the unpeeled potatoes onto a microwave-

able plate or into a receptacle. If possible, the potatoes should not touch each other.

Programme 7: Roasting

This programme runs over several cooking stages, using microwave power and the grill function. Depending on the weight set, this programme runs for between 16 and 60 minutes.

■ Place the roast on a microwaveable plate.

Season the meat to taste and then start the automatic menu for roasting.

■ A whole roast must be turned over, otherwise

the side facing upwards could dry out. For this reason the microwave oven automatically halts the programme after about 2/3 of the time has elapsed and beeps. Turn the meat over and then press the button Start/Quick start 9 again to resume the programme.

Programme 8: Kebabs

This programme runs over several cooking stages, using microwave power and the grill function. Depending on the weight set, this programme runs for between 9 and 27 minutes.

■ Place the kebabs on a microwaveable plate.

■ The kebabs must be turned over to ensure even

cooking. For this reason the microwave oven automatically halts the programme after about 2/3 of the time has elapsed and beeps. Turn the kebabs over and then press the button Start/ Quick start 9 programme.

You can use this function to defrost meat, poultry and ﬁ sh. The defrosting time and the power level are calculated and set automatically once you have entered the weight.

1) Press the Defrost button 0 appears in the display 1.

2) Use the control dial 9 to enter the weight of the food to be defrosted. You can enter a weight of between 100 g and 1800 g.

3) Press the Start/Quick start button 9 The appliance calculates the defrosting time automatically. It appears in the display 1 and starts to count down.

Programme 9: Beverages

This programme uses only microwave power. This programme runs for between 1:30 and 3:50 minutes depending on the the quantity set.

■ Place the beverage that you wish to heat up on

the glass plate 2 in the cooking chamber. If you wish to place several glasses or cups in the microwave oven, ensure that the receptacles do not touch each other.

NOTE

To avoid sudden boiling:

– If possible, place a glass rod in the liquid

while it is being heated.

– To avoid unexpected reboiling, leave the

liquid to stand in the microwave oven for about 20 seconds after heating.

After about 1/2 of the time, you will hear a beep and “turn” appears on the display 1. Open the door and turn the food. Close the door again and press the Start/Quick Start button 9 the defrosting process.

NOTE

If you wish to dispense with turning, simply ignore the beeps. The defrosting programme will continue despite the beeps!

Preset start time (Preset)

With this programme, you can preset a speciﬁ c start time to cook or grill your food. If the programming is carried out correctly, the appliance starts automatically at the programmed time.

Cleaning and care

Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect

■ If splashes of food or spilt liquids stick to the

walls of the microwave, wipe them oﬀ with a damp cloth.

■ Use a mild detergent if the microwave is more

heavily soiled.

■ Avoid using cleaning sprays and other aggres-

sive cleaning agents, as they can cause stains, smears or clouding of the door surface.

■ Clean the external surfaces with a damp cloth.

■ To avoid damage to the functional components

in the interior of the microwave, do not allow liquids to seep in through the ventilation slits 5.

■ Remove splashes or soiling. Clean the door,

both sides of the viewing window, door seals and adjacent components with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.

■ If condensation accumulates on or around the

outside of the door, wipe it oﬀ with a soft cloth. This can happen if the microwave is operated in extremely humid conditions.

■ Clean the glass plate 2 regularly. You can also

clean the glass plate 2 in the dishwasher or in hot water with a little washing-up liquid.

■ Wipe the rotator assembly 3 oﬀ with a damp

cloth.

■ Clean the grill stand e in hot dishwater and

dry it well.

■ Remove odours regularly. Put a deep microwave

bowl with a cup of water, juice and peel of a lemon into the microwave. Heat for 5 minutes. Wipe oﬀ thoroughly and rub dry with a soft cloth.

■ If the bulb in the microwave needs replacing,

arrange for it to be exchanged by a dealer or consult our Service Department.

Storage

■ Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free

and dry place.

The appliance does not respond to pressing the buttons.

■ The Child lock is activated. Deactivate the Child

lock (see chapter “Operation“).

The appliance does not start the cooking/ heating process.

■ The door is not properly closed. Close the door

properly.

■ The plug is not inserted into a mains power

socket. Connect the plug to the power supply.

The glass plate 2 makes a loud noise when turning.

■ The glass plate 2 is not correctly positioned

on the rotator assembly 3.

■ Centre the glass plate 2 on the rotator

assembly 3.

■ The rotator assembly 3 and/or the ﬂ oor of the

cooking chamber are dirty. Clean the rotator assembly 3 and the ﬂ oor of the cooking area.

Troubleshooting

There is nothing on the display 1.

■ The plug is not inserted into a mains power

socket. Check the plug.

■ The mains power socket is defective. Try another

mains power socket.

■ The display 1 is defective. Contact Customer

Service.

Warranty and service

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts. Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase. Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

Disposal

Never dispose of the appli-

ance in the normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if you are in any doubt.

The packaging for this product is made

from environmentally friendly material and can be disposed of at your local recycling plant.
