ATTENTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE

Protect the appliance against moisture and the penetration of liquids.

Disposal of packaging

Utilisation
The attachments
Sapphire cone ■7:
For removing dry skin, hardened skin or callouses on the soles and
heels, and to process the nails.
Guide the sapphire cone 7 with a circular motion and under gentle pres-
sure over the parts of the sole and heel to be treated. Do not exert too
strong a pressure and always make contact carefully with the appliance
on the surface to be treated. After every treatment apply a moisturising
cream.
Felt cone
■8:
For smoothing and polishing nail edges after fi ling, as well as cleaning
the nail surface.
Use the felt cone 8 to polish and smooth the edge of the nail and to
clean the nail surface after milling. Always polish in a circular motion
and never let the felt cone 8 rest in one place.
Sapphire disc
■9:
For fi ling and processing the nails..
Process the edge of the nails with the sapphire disc 9. As only the inner
disc rotates and the outer edge does not move, you can fi le your nails
accurately without damaging your skin with the rapidly rotating disk.
Always work from the outside of the nail to the tip.
Cylindrical miller
■0:
For milling thickly growing toe nails and rough smoothing of the surfaces.
With the cylinder miller 0 you can mill away thickly growing nail surfaces. Always hold the cylinder miller 0 parallel to the nail surface and,
with light pressure and circular movements, remove the excess growth.
Flame miller
■q:
To release ingrown nails.
With the fl ame miller q you can release ingrown nails. Guide the fl ame
miller q carefully onto the treatment area and cut away the aff ected
nail part.
Round sapphire miller
■w:
For the removal of corns.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY
At too high speeds and with a too heavy pressure, the sapphire
miller can quickly penetrate into deeper, healthy skin layers.
This can cause injury and damage to the periosteum!

Always take care and a cautious approach when removing corns. If in
doubt, consult a pedicurist, podolgist or a dermatologist.
To remove corns, mill very carefully and slowly at low speed with the round
sapphire cutter w.
Under no circumstance should you use undue pressure, otherwise you could
rapidly penetrate healthy skin and injure it.
Working with the appliance
WARNING - RISK OF INJURY
Too long and too intensive treatment can also injure deeper
layers of skin.
Therefore regularly check the treatment progress and results. Diabetics
►
in particular are less sensitive on the hands and feet.
NOTICE
The attachments show only a reduced eff ect with softened skin. Therefore do ►
not carry out any pretreatment in a water bath before using the appliance.
Find a well-lit place to work. A mains power outlet must be posi-1)
tioned in close proximity.
Insert the appropriate attachment for your purpose in the attach-2)
ment acceptor 1. The attachment must sit securely.
Insert the power adapter 3) 4 into a mains power outlet.
Slide the on/off /direction switch 4) 6 into the desired direction.
The appliance runs with the lowest speed.

Always select the direction of run so that you can treat the nails in their ►
direction of growth. Where possible, treat the nails from the outside towards the inside (to the nail tip). Otherwise, the nails split more easily.
If you feel that the nails could tear during treatment, select the other ►
direction of run.

Always start the treatment at low speed and increase it only 5)
when needed. When you wish to increase the speed, press the
“Speed increase” 2 button. When you wish to decrease the
speed, press the “Speed decrease” 3 button.
You can now begin with the task.6)
WARNING - RISK OF BURNS
Risk due to severe heat development!
While you are working, never let the attachments rest on one point.
Due to friction this leads to increased heat generation and may cause
injury.
Always work in a circular motion.

ATTENTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE
Risk due to overheating!
If you use the appliance for more than 15 minutes at a time, the motor
may overheat.

After 15 minutes of operation take an approx. 30 minute break so that
the motor can cool down.
Place the on/off /direction switch 7) 6 at “•” and remove the
power adapter 4 from the mains power socket when you have
fi nished the treatment.
NOTICE
If you have treated callouses, after completing the procedure apply a ►
moisturising cream to the treated areas.

Cleaning

ATTENTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE
Do not use chemical, aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. These
damage the upper surfaces.
Clean the hand element ■5 and the power adapter 4 with a moist cloth.
For stubborn stains use a mild detergent on the cloth. Ensure that no water
or moisture can penetrate the appliance. Dry everythng well.
For hygienic reasons, we recommend cleaning the attachments with a

clean cloth or brush moistened with alcohol after each use. Dry everythng
well.
Storage
After you have cleaned the appliance, put it back in the storage bag. ■
Store the appliance at a dry and clean location. ■

Disposing of the appliance
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal
domestic waste. This product is subject to the
provisions of the European Directive 2002/96/
EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Warranty and Service
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined
before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty
claim, please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only
in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and maufacturing defects, but
not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for private use only and is not
intended for commercial use.
The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of
force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This
applies also to replaced and repaired parts. Damages and defects extant at
the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, resp. no
later than two days after the date of purchase. Repairs made after the lapse
of the warranty period are subject to charge.
