	These operating instructions are a component of the Manicure-Pedicure Set SMP
	6200 A1 (henceforth designated as the appliance) and they supply you with
	important information about the intended use and the safety as well as the opera-
	tion of the appliance.
	The operating instructions must be constantly kept available close to the appliance.
	They are to be read and applied by every person charged with the operation of
	the appliance.
	Retain these operating instructions and pass them on, together with the appliance,
	to a possible future owner.

Basic safety instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:

■Before use check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not put into operation an appliance that is damaged or has been dropped..

■This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deﬁciences in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used.

■Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by		GB

■Extended use may cause the development of a strong heat on the skin. Therefore, take breaks frequently. Otherwise, there is risk of burns!

■Do not use the appliance while taking a bath or shower.

■Never touch the appliance with wet or moist hands.

■To avoid risks, arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced at once by qualiﬁed technicians or our Customer Service Department..

ATTENTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE

■Defective components may only be replaced with original replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts can you guarantee that you comply with the safety requirements.

■Protect the appliance against moisture and the penetration of liquids.

■Protect the appliance against shock, moisture, dust, chemicals, extremes of temperature and from being too close to sources of heat (ovens, radiators).

■Never use the appliance under blankets, pillows etc.

■The appliance may not be used for longer than 15 minutes at a time, otherwise the motor could overheat. After 15 minutes of use, take a break of at least 30 minutes.

■Do not store the appliance where it could fall into a bath tub or wash basin.

■NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!

■Always pull the plug from the mains power socket; never pull on the cable.

■Ensure that the drive can always rotate freely. Otherwise, the appliancw may overheat and be damaged beyond repair.

NOTICE

►A repair to the appliance during the warranty period may only be carried out by a customer service ﬁrm authorised by the manufacturer, otherwise no additional warranty claims can be considered for subsequent damages.

Disposal of packaging

The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw materials and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed according to the regionally established regulations.

NOTICE

►If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appliance properly for its return.

■Sapphire cone 7:

For removing dry skin, hardened skin or callouses on the soles and heels, and to process the nails.

Guide the sapphire cone 7 with a circular motion and under gentle pressure over the parts of the sole and heel to be treated. Do not exert too strong

a pressure and always make contact carefully with the appliance on the surface to be treated. After every treatment apply a moisturising cream.

■Felt cone 8:

For smoothing and polishing nail edges after ﬁling, as well as cleaning the nail surface.

Use the felt cone 8 to polish and smooth the edge of the nail and to clean the nail surface after milling. Always polish in a circular motion and never let the felt cone 8 rest in one place.

■Sapphire disc 9:

For ﬁling and processing the nails..

Process the edge of the nails with the sapphire disc 9. As only the inner disc rotates and the outer edge does not move, you can ﬁle your nails accurately without damaging your skin with the rapidly rotating disk. Always work from the outside of the nail to the tip.

■Cylindrical miller 0:

For milling thickly growing toe nails and rough smoothing of the surfaces. With the cylinder miller 0 you can mill away thickly growing nail surfaces. Always hold the cylinder miller 0 parallel to the nail surface and, with light pressure and circular movements, remove the excess growth.

■Flame miller q:

To release ingrown nails.

With the ﬂame miller q you can release ingrown nails. Guide the ﬂame miller q carefully onto the treatment area and cut away the a ected nail part.

■Round sapphire miller w: For the removal of corns.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY

At too high speeds and with a too heavy pressure, the sapphire miller can quickly penetrate into deeper, healthy skin layers.

This can cause injury and damage to the periosteum!

►Always take care and a cautious approach when removing corns. If in doubt, consult a pedicurist, podolgist or a dermatologist.

To remove corns, mill very carefully and slowly at low speed with the round sapphire cutter w.

Under no circumstance should you use undue pressure, otherwise you could rapidly penetrate healthy skin and injure it.

Working with the appliance

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY

Too long and too intensive treatment can also injure deeper layers of skin.

►Therefore regularly check the treatment progress and results. Diabetics in particular are less sensitive on the hands and feet.

NOTICE

►The attachments show only a reduced e ect with softened skin. Therefore do not carry out any pretreatment in a water bath before using the appliance.

1)Find a well-lit place to work. A mains power outlet must be positioned in close proximity.

2)Insert the appropriate attachment for your purpose in the attachment acceptor 1. The attachment must sit securely.

3)Insert the power adapter 4 into a mains power outlet.

4)Slide the on/o /direction switch 6 into the desired direction. The appliance runs with the lowest speed.

NOTICE

►Always select the direction of run so that you can treat the nails in their direction of growth. Where possible, treat the nails from the outside towards the inside (to the nail tip). Otherwise, the nails split more easily.

►If you feel that the nails could tear during treatment, select the other direction of run.

5)Always start the treatment at low speed and increase it only when needed. When you wish to increase the speed, press the "Speed increase" 2 button. When you wish to decrease the speed, press the "Speed decrease" 3 button.

6)You can now begin with the task.

WARNING - RISK OF BURNS

Risk due to severe heat development!

While you are working, never let the attachments rest on one point.

Due to friction this leads to increased heat generation and may cause injury.

► Always work in a circular motion.

ATTENTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE

Risk due to overheating!

If you use the appliance for more than 15 minutes at a time, the motor may overheat.

►After 15 minutes of operation take an approx. 30 minute break so that the motor can cool down.

7)Place the on/o /direction switch 6 at "•" and remove the power adapter 4 from the mains power socket when you have ﬁnished the treatment.

NOTICE

►If you have treated callouses, after completing the procedure apply a moisturising cream to the treated areas.

►Always remove the power adapter 4 from the mains power socket before you clean the appliance.

ATTENTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE

Do not use chemical, aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. These damage the upper surfaces.

■Clean the hand element 5 and the power adapter 4 with a moist cloth. For stubborn stains use a mild detergent on the cloth. Ensure that no water or moisture can penetrate the appliance. Dry everythng well.

■For hygienic reasons, we recommend cleaning the attachments with a clean cloth or brush moistened with alcohol after each use. Dry everythng well.

Storage

■After you have cleaned the appliance, put it back in the storage bag.

■Store the appliance at a dry and clean location.

Disposal

Disposing of the appliance

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the European Directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

CY	The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The
	appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before
	delivery.
	Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,
	please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only in this way
	can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
	The warranty covers only claims for material and maufacturing defects, but not
	for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g.
	buttons or batteries. This product is for private use only and is not intended for
	commercial use.
	The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force
	and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service branch. Your
	statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
	The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This ap-
	plies also to replaced and repaired parts. Damages and defects extant at the time
	of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than
	two days after the date of purchase. Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty
	period are subject to charge.

■Pitkään käytettäessä iho voi kuumentua huomattavasti. Pidä siksi taukoja. Muu-

toin on olemassa palovammojen vaara!

■Älä käytä laitetta ollessasi kylvyssä tai suihkussa.

■Älä koskaan koske laitteeseen märillä tai kosteilla käsillä.

■Anna vialliset verkkopistokkeet tai virtajohdot heti valtuutetun ammattihenkilöstön tai huoltopalvelun vaihdettavaksi vaarojen välttämiseksi.

HUOMIO - AINEELLISIA VAHINKOJA

■Vialliset rakenneosat saa vaihtaa ainoastaan alkuperäisiin varaosiin. Vain näillä osilla on taattua, että turvavaatimukset täyttyvät.

■Suojaa laitetta kosteudelta ja nesteiden tunkeutumiselta sen sisään.

■Suojaa laitetta iskuilta, kosteudelta, pölyltä, kemikaaleilta, voimakkailta lämpötilavaihteluilta ja liian lähellä olevilta lämpölähteiltä (uunit, lämpöpatterit).

■Älä koskaan käytä laitetta peittojen, tyynyjen ym. alla.

■Laitetta ei saa käyttää pidempään kuin 15 minuuttia kerrallaan, koska muuten moottori ylikuumenee. Pidä 15 minuutin jälkeen vähintään 30 minuutin tauko.

■Älä varastoi laitetta paikassa, jossa se voi pudota kylpyammeeseen tai pesualtaaseen.

■Älä koskaan upota laitetta veteen tai muihin nesteisiin.

■Vedä aina verkkopistoke irti pistorasiasta. Älä koskaan vedä johdosta.

■Varmista, että käyttölaite pääsee aina pyörimään vapaasti. Muuten laite ylikuumenee ja vahingoittuu korjauskelvottomaan kuntoon.

►Laitteen korjauksen saa takuuaikana suorittaa ainoastaan valmistajan valtuuttama huoltoliike, muuten takuu ei ole enää voimassa seuraavien vahinkojen sattuessa.

OHJE

►Tarkista toimituksen täydellisyys ja osat näkyvien vaurioiden varalta.

►Jos toimitus on puutteellinen tai havaitset puutteellisesta pakkauksesta johtuvia tai kuljetuksesta aiheutuneita vaurioita, ota yhteyttä huollon palvelunumeroon.

Pakkauksen hävittäminen

Pakkaus suojaa laitetta kuljetusvaurioilta. Pakkausmateriaalit on valittu ympäristöystävällisyys ja jätehuoltotekniset näkökohdat huomioiden ja siksi ne voidaan kierrättää.

Pakkauksen palauttaminen materiaalikiertoon säästää raaka-aineita ja vähentää syntyvien jätteiden määrää. Hävitä tarpeettomat pakkausmateriaalit paikallisten voimassa olevien määräysten mukaisesti.

►Säilytä alkuperäispakkaus mahdollisuuksien mukaan laitteen takuuajan, jotta voit pakata laitteen asianmukaisesti mahdollisen takuutapahtuman sattuessa.

			Kuivan ihon, kovettumien tai känsien poistoon jalkapohjasta ja kantapäästä
			sekä kynsien käsittelyyn.
			Kuljeta saﬁirikartiota 7 pyörivin liikkein kevyesti painaen jalkapohjan ja
			kantapään käsiteltävillä osilla. Älä paina liikaa ja vie laite aina varovasti
			käsiteltävälle pinnalle.
			Voitele jokaisen käsittelyn jälkeen kosteuttavalla voiteella.

■Huopakartio 8:

Kynnen reunan tasoittamiseen ja kiillottamiseen viilauksen jälkeen sekä kynnen pinnan puhdistamiseen.

Käytä huopakartiota 8 kynnen reunan kiillottamiseen ja tasoittamiseen, sekä kynnen pinnan puhdistamiseen hionnan jälkeen. Kiillota aina pyörivin liikkein, äläkä anna huopakartion 8 koskaan pysähtyä yhteen kohtaan.

■Saﬁirilevy 9:

Kynsien viilaukseen ja käsittelyyn.

Saﬁirilevyllä 9 käsitellään kynnen reunat. Koska vain sisempi levy pyörii ja ulompi reuna ei liiku, voidaan kynnet viilata tarkasti ihoa nopeasti pyörivällä levyllä vahingoittamatta. Työskentele aina kynnen ulkosivulta kärkeen.

■Sylinteriviila 0:

Puumaisten varpaiden kynsien pintojen hiontaan, sekä pintojen karkeaan tasoittamiseen.

Sylinteriviilalla 0hiotaan puumaiset kynsien pinnat pois. Pidä sylinteriviilaa 0 aina kynnen pinnan suuntaisesti ja hio pinta pois kevyesti painaen ja pyöreillä liikkeillä.

■Liekkiviila q:

Sisäänkasvaneiden kynsien irrottamiseen.

Liekkiviilalla q voidaan irrottaa sisäänkasvaneet kynnet. Vie liekkiviila q varovasti käsiteltävään kohtaan ja tasoita sisäänkasvaneet kynnen osat.

■Pyöreä saﬁiriviila w: Känsien poistoon.

VAROITUS - LOUKKAANTUMISVAARA
Liian korkealla kierrosluvulla ja liian voimakkaasti painamalla
saﬁiriviila tunkeutuu nopeasti syvempiin, terveisiin ihokerroksiin.
Se voi johtaa luukalvon vammoihin ja vaurioihin!	FI

►Toimi känsiä poistaessasi aina varovasti. Jos olet epävarma, kysy neuvoja jalkahoitajalta, podologilta tai iholääkäriltä.

Poista känsät hiomalla erittäin varovasti ja hitaasti alhaisella kierrosluvulla pyöreällä saﬁiriviilalla w. Älä missään tapauksessa paina voimakkaasti, koska muutoin tunkeudut nopeasti terveisiin ihokerroksiin ja vahingoitat niitä.

Laitteen käyttö

VAROITUS - LOUKKAANTUMISVAARA

Liian pitkä ja intensiivinen käsittely voi vahingoittaa myös syvempiä ihokerroksia.

►Tarkasta siksi säännöllisesti käsittelyn tulokset. Erityisesti diabeetikkojen käsissä ja jaloissa on vähemmän tuntoa.

OHJE

►Lisäosat toimivat pehmennetyssä ihossa vain heikommin. Älä siksi suorita esikäsittelyä vesikylvyssä ennen laitteen käyttöä.

1)Etsi työskentelyyn hyvin valaistu paikka. Välittömässä läheisyydessä on oltava verkkopistorasia.

2)Liitä tarkoitukseesi sopiva lisäosa lisäosan pidikkeeseen 1. Lisäosan on oltava tiiviisti paikoillaan.

3)Liitä verkkolaite 4 verkkopistorasiaan.

4)Työnnä Päälle-/Pois-/Suunta-kytkin 6 haluttuun suuntaan. Laite käy alhaisimmalla nopeudella.

OHJE

►Valitse pyörimissuunta aina niin, että voit käsitellä kynsiä haluttuun suuntaan. Kynsiä käsitellään mahdollisuuksien mukaan ulkoa sisälle (kynnen kärkeen) päin. Muutoin kynnet lohkeilevat helpommin.

►Jos sinulla on tunne, että kynnet repeilevät käsiteltäessä, valitse toinen pyörimissuunta.
