Calibration Procedure seca 354 / 364

Description of calibration procedure for seca 354 and seca 364

The baby scales seca 354 and seca 364 own a software driven calibration procedure, which allows simple and easy adjustment. The procedure requires to have two testing weights: for 354 10kg and 20 kg, for seca 364 20 and 50 kg.

Procedure for seca 354:

1.Remove tray

2.Turn scale and remove type plate on the bottom part of the scale

3.Shorten the two pins with a conventional jumper (please refer to picture)

4.Interrupt power supply for several secaonds by removing and installing a battery

5.Bbring scale into weighing position and start scale

6.Display shows „Set“ indicating that it sets itself to zero. Wait until 10,000 is shown in the display.

7.Put 10 kg onto the scale immediately. Scale will show internal number after load is detected as being stable. After several secaonds display shows 20,000

8.Put 20 kg weigth onto the scale immediately. Wait while internal number is displayed and until scale switches off.

9.Turn scale and remove jumper again.

10.Fasten type plate or use seca seal for closing hole

11.Interrupt power supply for several secaonds by removing and installing a battery

12.Bring scale into weighing position and start scale.

13.Check at 10kg and 20 kg.

Procedure for seca 364:

Calibration procedure of seca 364 is the same as for seca 354, but instead of the test weights 10kg and 20kg the weights 20kg and 50 kg have to be used.
