1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B1, -A4B Chassis 1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B, -A3B1, -A4B Series B Chassis

Snap the chassis latch over the top of the filler card to secure it.

Chassis latch Chassis locking bar

Use this empty slot filler card to fill a spare/blank slot in your 1771 universal I/O chassis.

1. Lift the chassis latch or locking bar (dependent on type of chassis.)

2. Align the filler card with the card guide slots in the I/O chassis.

3. Slide the filler card into the chassis and apply and apply firm, even pressure to seat the filler card into the backplane connector.

Swing the chassis locking bar down into place to secure the filler card. Make sure the locking pins engage.

Apply firm even pressure on the empty slot filler card to seat it in the backplane connector.

Card removal tab

1. To remove a filler card, lift the chassis latch or locking bar (dependent on type of chassis.

2. Pull up on the card removal tab to prop the filler card out of the backplane connector
