drivers’ and passengers’ needs. The New Grand Scénic is no exception – offering a groundbreaking 92 litres of interior
storage, making it best in class. There are practical and accessible storage options available to everybody: from large drawers
under the seats and underfloor lockers on the first two rows, to a cooled 11-litre glove box, spacious sliding centre console,
cup holders, door pockets, and so on. Toys, magazines, drinks, electronic equipment and all your travel essentials can be

Let’s start with TFT (Thin Film Technology) - exclusive to the New Grand Scénic. Behind these three letters lies the future of the dashboard. Turn the ignition on and
the colour screen offers a clearer, more detailed range of information than the traditional dials and indicator lights, automatically displaying the right information
at the right time. You can even customise the look of the dashboard and display colours to suit you.
And because it’s not always easy to park in towns, tight spaces or busy car parks, New Grand Scénic has combined the audible parking proximity sensor with two
visual parking systems. The reversing camera displays an image on a colour screen to pinpoint any obstacles accurately. Then, radar sensors signal the presence
of the obstacle, using repeated beeps which increase in frequency the closer the car gets to it.

Naturally, being a Renault, safety for all is paramount. With stable and reassuring roadholding, the New Scénic is equipped with driver aids designed

Renault SRP (System for Restraint and Protection), which gives you six airbags (two auto-adaptive frontal, two lateral with thorax and pelvis protection and
two curtain) and pretensioner seatbelts for front and rear seats.

Scénic 7 Seat and Scénic 5 Seat.
As well as being easy to manoeuvre and a pleasure to drive, New Scénic also looks good. The central grille is
flanked by satin-effect chrome finish air intakes. These stylish looks are reinforced by the sleek and elegant
headlights. And the front bumper, with its strong, dynamic design, accentuated by side protective mouldings
and a high beltline is a tell-tale sign of its outstanding safety.

and that of your passengers. The driver’s seat offers a wide range of
controls enabling everyone, regardless of shape and size, to travel in
safety and benefit from the exceptional visibility the New Scénic offers.
The centre console houses controls that fall easily to hand, while in the
rear, space is extremely generous in terms of headroom, legroom and
width. Making the most of this huge space, the New Scénic offers a
class-breaking 80 litres storage capacity.

TomTom®, the New Scénic makes navigation a breeze. World-leading satellite navigation
manufacturer TomTom® is renowned for its user-friendly equipment. Simple to operate
and update, this new navigation system warns you of danger areas and speed restrictions.
It also provides continuous guidance, even when the satellite signal is lost, and is an integral
part of the dashboard. No more giveaway wires or suckers on the windscreen… it’s made
to match the interior design perfectly, and gets you to your destination with ease.

RESPONSIBLE PERFORMANCE

Exceptional roadholding, for exceptional driveability: that’s the aim. With the front and rear wheels at equal width, the New Scénic offers unrivalled
balance and directional stability. The comfort and precision are equally superb on bends and wet surfaces. For responsiveness, it’s backed
by understated, high-performance engines that accelerate freely, particularly with the dCi 160 diesel and TCe 130 petrol. All engines promise
reduced consumption and CO2 emissions. New to the Scénic is a CVT (continuously variable transmission) gearbox that can be matched to the

2.0 VVT 140 engine. CVT transmission gives a smooth, efficient and quick rate of acceleration. Also available is the dCi 150 engine which comes with
a 6-speed sequential shift proactive gearbox. So with the New Scénic, a people carrier can be environmentally responsible and rewarding to drive.

New Grand Scénics and Scénics carrying the eco2 symbol meet three criteria:
they produce CO2 emissions at or lower than 140 g/km (as low as 135 g/km on
the dCi 86 engine), they are manufactured at Maubeuge, an ISO 14001 certified
factory, minimising their environmental impact, and they are 95% recyclable with
6% recycled plastic in their plastic mass.

, Renault displays its environmental commitment at every stage of the
life cycle of the vehicle. The vehicle has been designed in such a way that 95%
of the materials used could have a second life (recyclable for other use or as a source
of energy), and that pollution control at the end of the vehicle’s life (in particular
extraction of fluids) is made easier. Furthermore, this vehicle has parts made
of recycled plastic and renewable materials.

5. CRUISE CONTROL AND SPEED LIMITER

The cruise control function allows you to set a cruising

speed or maximum speed using controls on the steering

wheel. Information is displayed on the LCD screen with

TFT ( Thin Film Technology). For example, with cruise

control, your ‘set’ speed is shown in a green strip.

If you exceed this speed, the strip turns red.

6. FRONT AND REAR PARKING PROXIMITY SENSORS

Making parking manoeuvres easier: the parking proximity

object, combined with a visual warning on the LCD screen.

The tow bar-mounted cycle carrier provides easy access to
the boot via its folding function. The Touring Line roof box
can be mounted onto existing aluminium roof bars.

the neck. This type of bar looks neat and tidy, and it
is possible to dismantle the ball-joint with tools.

This towbar retains the aesthetic lines of your New Scénic,
as it can be removed without tools in a matter of seconds.
