Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new device. You have selected a high
quality product. The instructions for use are a part of this product. They contain important information about safety, use and disposal. Before using the product please familiarise yourself with all the operating and safety instructions. Only use the product as instructed and only for the specified applications. When passing this product on to others please be sure to also include all its documentation.
Intended use
This spotlight is suitable for use in outdoor areas. Any modification to the product are considered improper use and may result in considerable hazards. The manufacturer will not accept liability for loss or dam­age arising from improper use. This device is not intended for commercial use.

Do not allow the lamp or the packaging mate-
rials to lie around unattended. Plastic film or bags, Styrofoam etc. can turn into dangerous toys for children.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! Do
not operate the lamp in potentially explosive environments containing flammable vapours, gases or dusts.
Avoid danger to life from electric shock
Never use the light if any defects have been
identified.
In the event of damage, repairs or other prob-
lems with the lamp, please contact the Service Centre or an electrician.

electrical equipment. Such interventions pose life-threatening danger due to electric shock.
Before assembly, ensure that the available
mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage necessary for the light (220–240 V ∼).
If the mains power cable of this device is dam-
aged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer or its service department or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
Please only use halogen bulbs of a rating of
max. 400 W (energy classC) or of a lower rating.
Avoid fire and injury hazards
RISK OF INJURY! During unpacking please
check bulb and lamp glass immediately for dam­age. Do not assemble the light with defective bulbs and / or lamp glass. In this case contact the service centre for replacement.
RISK OF INJURY FROM BURNS! Ensure
that the lamp has been switched off and has cooled down before touching it, to avoid burns. Bulbs develop a lot of heat in the area of the lamp holder. Allow the light to cool down for at least 15 minutes before replacing a defective bulb.
Exchange a damaged lamp glass immediately.
Before Initial Use
Mounting
Note: The tripod 6 is delivered assembled.
Now press the spring pin 10 upwards and at the
same time swivel the tripod
Release the spring pin 10. This is fixed in a
groove (see Fig. A). Turn the twist lock 8 anti-clockwise (see Fig. B). Now adjust the tripod 6 to the required height
by sliding the pipe up to the required height. Turn the twist lock 8 clockwise to fix the height
of the tripod

(see Fig. B). Undo the middle screw head 9. Position the middle hole of the halogen light
holder over the top of the stand.
Reposition the middle screw head 9 on the
top of the stand and tighten it.
Loosen the screws on both ends of the halogen
lamp holder and adjust it to the desired lighting angle of the light.
Retighten the screws on both ends of the halo-
gen light holder.
Check that the halogen light is fitted safely and
that the tripod

stands soundly.
Please ensure that the cable does not get stuck
on sharp objects and that the plug is sufficiently protected from rain and moisture.

Replace faulty bulbs with new bulbs immediately.
FIRE HAZARD! Position the light

the material to be illuminated. Exces­sive heat can result in a fire. Therefore please ensure that there is sufficient ventilation for heat dissipation.
Do not adjust the light downwards. Never look directly into the light. This could
result in damage to your eyes.
Never use the light without lamp glass or metal
covers. Otherwise there is a risk of injury.
Replace the broken protective shields immediately.

place. Swing the front lid 2 downwards. Carefully bring the bulb 4 into its position

Start-up
Switching the halogen flood
light on and off
Insert the mains plug into the mains socket
(220–240 V ∼). The flood light is now switched on.
Pull out the mains plug from the socket. The
flood light is now switched off.

Swivelling the halogen light
Undo the middle screw head 9. Swivel the halogen light into the desired position. Retighten the middle screw head 9.
Changing the bulb
RISK OF BURNS! Ensure that the lamp has
been switched off and has cooled down before touching it, to avoid burns. Bulbs develop a lot of heat in the area of the lamp holder. Parts

– 5 are also exposed to strong heat. Allow the light to cool down for at least 15 minutes before replacing a defective bulb.
Remove the plug and wait until the appliance
has cooled down to room temperature.

Swing the front lid 2 downwards. Remove the damaged bulb from the bulb holder. Carefully bring the new bulb 4 into its position
between the two spring loaded fittings
Ensure that there is good contact on both sides.

careful not to touch the glass of the bulb you accidentally touch the bulb with a lint free cloth and a bit of denatured

Allow the light to cool down completely.
DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-
TRIC SHOCK! For electrical safety reasons,
never clean the light with water or other fluids
nor immerse it in water. When cleaning, only
use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use solvents, petrol or the like.
Guarantee and Service
This product has a 3 year guarantee from the date of purchase extended only to the original buyer, not transferable. Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase. The guarantee applies to material or manufacturing defects only. It does not cover wear items or damage caused by improper use. Any modifications will void the guarantee. This warranty does not limit your legal rights. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact the service centre. This is the only way to return your device free of charge.

Please contact us before returning the defective product, we will gladly also call you back! The guarantee will only be honoured if the defective appliance is accompanied by a copy of the receipt. We cannot accept parcels sent carriage forward, please request a return label.
