instructions for use are part of the product. They
contain important information concerning safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all of the safety information

The small drill is to be used for drilling, milling, en­graving, polishing, cleaning up, grinding, separating
and sawing of wood, metal, plastic, ceramic or stone
in dry rooms. Any other use or modification to the
drill / grinder shall be considered as improper use
and could give rise to considerable dangers. The
manufacturer will not accept liability for loss or
damage arising from improper use. Not intended
for commercial use.

Note: The vibration level specified in these instruc­tions was measured in accordance with an EN 60745
standardised measurement process and can be used
to compare equipment. The vibration emission value
specified can also serve as a preliminary assessment
of the exposure.
The vibration level will change according to the
application of the electrical tool and in some cases
may exceed the value specified in these instructions.
Regularly using the electric tool in such a way may
make it easy to underestimate the vibration.

Try to keep the vibration loads
as low as possible. Measures to reduce the vibration
load are, e.g. wearing gloves and limiting the work­ing time. Wherein all states of operation must be in­cluded (e.g. times when the power tool is switched

Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may
result in electric shock, fire and / or serious injury.

Keep all the safety advice and instructions
in a safe place for future reference!

The term “electrical tool” used in the safety advice
refers to electrical tools powered by mains electricity
(by means of a mains lead) and electrical tools pow­ered by rechargeable batteries (without a mains lead).

1. Workplace safety

eep your working area clean and wel

lit. Untidy or poorly lit working areas can lead

to accidents.

b) Do not work with the device in poten-

tially explosive environments in which
there are inflammable liquids, gases o
dusts. Electrical power tools create sparks,

which can ignite dusts or fumes.

c) Keep children and other people away

while you are operating the electrical
tool. Distractions can cause you to lose con-

trol of the device.

2. Electrical safety

a) The mains plug on the power tool (or

on the power supply) must fit the
socket. Never modify the plug in any
way. Never use adapter plugs with
earthed power tools. Unmodified plugs

and the correct sockets reduce the risk of elec­tric shock.

b) Avoid touching earthed surfaces such

as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrig­erators with any part of your body.

There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed.

c) Keep the device away from rain or

moisture. Water entering an electrical device

increases the risk of electric shock.

d) Do not use the mains lead for any pur-

pose for which it was not intended, e.
to carry the device, to hang up the de­vice or to pull the mains plug out of
the mains socket. Keep the mains lead
away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts of the device. Damaged or

tangled mains leads increase the risk of elec­tric shock.

e) When working outdoors with an elec-

trical power tool always use extension
cables that are also approved for use
outdoors. The use of an extension cable suit-

able for outdoor use reduces the risk of elec­tric shock.

f) Use a residual current device (RCD) for

protection if operating the electrical
power tool in a moist environment is
unavoidable. The use of an RCD reduces

the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety

a) Remain alert at all times, watch what

you are doing and always proceed
with caution. Do not use the device if
you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. One mo

of carelessness when using the device can lead
to serious injury.

b) Wear personal protective equipment

and always wear safety glasses. The

wearing of personal protective equipment such
as dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, safety hel­mets or ear protectors, appropriate to the type
of electrical power tool used and work under­taken, reduces the risk of injury.

c) Avoid accidental starting. Verify the po-

wer tool is switched off before connec­ting it to the mains and / or connecting
the battery, picking it up, or carrying it.

Accidents can happen if you carry the device
with your finger on the ON / OFF switch or with
the device switched on.

d) Remove any setting tools or spanners

before you switch the device on. A tool

or spanner left attached to a rotating part of a
device can lead to injury.

e) Avoid placing your body in an unnat-

ural position. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. By doing this you will

be in a better position to control the device in
unforeseen circumstances.

f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear

loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your
hair, clothing and gloves clear of mov-

ing parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long
hair can become trapped in moving parts.

devices are fitted do not forget to

4. Careful handling and use
of electrical power tools

a) Do not overload the device. Always

use an electrical power tool that is
intended for the task you are under­taking. By using the right electrical power

tool for the job you will work more safely and
achieve a better result.

b) Do not use an electrical power tool if

its switch is defective. An electrical power
tool that can no longer be switched on and off
is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Pull the mains plug out of the socket

and / or remove the rechargeable bat­tery before you make any adjustments
to the device, change accessories or
when the device is put away. This pre-

caution is intended to prevent the device from
unintentionally starting.

d) When not in use always ensure that

electrical power tools are kept out of
reach of children. Do not let anyone
the device if he or she is not familiar
with it or has not read the instructions
and advice. Electrical power tools are dan-

gerous when they are used by inexperienced
people.

e) Look after the device carefully. Check

that moving parts are working prop­erly and move freely. Check for any
parts that are broken or damaged
enough to detrimentally affect the
functioning of the device. Have dam­aged parts repaired before you use
the device. Many accidents have their origins

in poorly maintained electrical power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools clean and sharp.

g) Use the electrical power tool, accesso-

ries, inserted tools etc. in accordance
with these instructions and advice, and
the stipulations drawn up for this par­ticular type of device. In doing this, take
into account the working conditions
and the task in hand. The use of electrical

power tools for purposes other than those in­tended can lead to dangerous situations.

5. Use and handling of the
cordless electrical power tool

a) Charge a rechargeable battery unit

using only the charger recommended
by the manufacturer. Chargers are often

designed for a particular type of rechargeable
battery unit. There is the danger of fire if other
types of rechargeable battery units are used.

b) Only the rechargeable battery units

supplied are to be used with an elec­trical power tool. The use of other recharge-

able battery units may lead to the danger of
injury or fire.

c) When they are not being used, store

rechargeable battery units away from
paperclips, coins, keys. nails, screws
or other small metal objects that could
cause the contacts to be bridged. Short-

circuiting the contacts of a rechargeable battery
unit may result in heat damage or fire.

d) Fluids may leak out of rechargeable

battery units if they are misused. If this
happens, avoid contact with the fluid.
If contact occurs, flush the affected area
with water. Seek additional medical
help if any of the fluid gets into your
eyes. Escaping battery fluid may cause skin

irritation or burns.

The batteries must never be recharged!

6. Service

a) Have your device repaired at the ser-

vice centre or by qualified specialist
personnel using original manufacturer
parts only. This will ensure that your device

remains safe to use.

Safety warnings common for grinding,
sanding, wire brushing, polishing, carving
or abrasive cutting-off operations:
a) This power tool is intended to function

as a grinder, sander, wire brush, pol­isher, carving or cut-off tool. Read all
safety warnings, instructions, illustra­tions and specifications provided with
this power tool. Failure to follow all instruc-

tions listed below may result in electric shock,
fire and / or serious injury.

b) Do not use accessories which are not

specifically designed and recommend­ed by the tool manufacturer. Just because

the accessory can be attached to your power
tool, it does not assure safe operation.

c) The rated speed of the grinding acces-

sories must be at least equal to the
imum speed marked on the power

rated speed can break and fly apart.

d) The outside diameter and the thickness

of your accessory must be within the
capacity rating of your power tool. In-

correctly sized accessories cannot be ade
controlled.

e) The arbour size of wheels, sanding

drums or any other accessory must
properly fit the spindle or collet of the
power tool. Accessories that do not match

the mounting hardware of the power tool will
run out of balance, vibrate excessively and may
cause loss of control.

and / or the overhang of the wheel is too long,
the mounted wheel may become loose and be
ejected at high velocity.

g) Do not use a damaged accessory. Be-

fore each use inspect the accessory

wear, wire brush for loose or cracked
wires. If power tool or accessory is
dropped, inspect for damage or install
an undamaged accessory. After in

of a broken accessory may fly away and cause
injury beyond immediate area of operation.

j) Hold power tool by insulated gripping

piece in one hand and the tool in the
other hand while in use. Clamping a small

workpiece allows you to use your hand(s) to
control the tool. Round material such as dowel
rods, pipes or tubing have a tendency to roll
while being cut, and may cause the bit to bind
or jump toward you.

m) Position the cord clear of the spinning

accessory. If you lose control, the cord may

be cut or snagged and your hand or arm may
be pulled into the spinning accessory.

n) Never lay the power tool down until

the accessory has come to a complete
stop. The spinning accessory may grab the

surface and pull the power tool out of your control.

o) After changing the bits or making any

adjustments, make sure the collet nut,
chuck or any other adjustment devices
are securely tightened. Loose adjustment

devices can unexpectedly shift, causing loss of
control, loose rotating components will be vio­lently thrown.

p) Do not run the power tool while car-

rying it at your side. Accidental contact

with the spinning accessory could snag your
clothing, pulling the accessory into your body.

q) Regularly clean the power tool’s air

vents. The motor’s fan will draw the dust inside

the housing and excessive accumulation of pow­dered metal may cause electrical hazards.

r) Do not operate the power tool near

flammable materials. Sparks could ignite

these materials.

s) Do not use accessories that require

liquid coolants. Using water or other liquid

coolants may result in electrocution or shock.

Kickback and related warnings

Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched or sn
rotating wheel, sanding band, brush or any other
accessory. Pinching or snagging causes rapid stalling
of the rotating accessory which in turn causes the

uncontrolled power tool to be forced in the direction
opposite of the accessory’s rotation.

For example, if an abrasive wheel is snagged or
pinched by the workpiece, the edge of the wheel
that is entering into the pinch point can dig into the
surface of the material causing the wheel to climb
out or kick out. The wheel may either jump toward
or away from the operator, depending on direction
of the wheel’s movement at the point of pinching.
Abrasive wheels may also break under these con­ditions.

Kickback is the result of power tool misuse and / or
incorrect operating procedures or conditions and
can be avoided by taking proper precautions as
given below.

a) Maintain a firm grip on the power tool

and position your body and arm to al­low you to resist kickback forces. The

operator can control kickback forces, if proper
precautions are taken.

b) U

snagging the accessory. Corners, sharp

edges or bouncing have a tendency to snag the
rotating accessory and cause loss of control or
kickback.

operations

Safety warnings specific for grinding and
abrasive cutting-off operations:
a) Use only wheel types that are recom-

mended for your power tool and only
for recommended applications.
For example: do not grind with the
side of a cut-off wheel. Abrasive cut-off

wheels are intended for peripheral grinding,
side forces applied to these wheels may cause
them to shatter.

b) For threaded abrasive cones and plugs

use only undamaged wheel mandrels
with an unrelieved shoulder flange that
are of correct size and length. Proper

drels will reduce the possibility of breakage.

c) Do not “jam” a cut-off wheel or apply

excessive pressure. Do not attempt to
make an excessive depth of cut. Over-

stressing the wheel increases the loading and
susceptibility to twisting or snagging of the wheel
in the cut and the possibility of kickback or w
breakage.

d) Do not position your hand in line with

the workpiece. Let the wheel reach full
speed and carefully re-enter the cut.

The wheel may bind, walk up or kickback if
the power tool is restarted in the workpiece.

g) Support panels or any oversized work-

piece to minimize the risk of wheel
pinching and kickback. Large workpieces

tend to sag under their own weight. Supports
must be placed under the workpiece near the
line of cut and near the edge of the workpiece
on both sides of the wheel.

h) Use extra caution when making a

“pocket cut” into existing walls or
other blind areas. The protruding wheel

may cut gas or water pipes, electrical wiring
or objects that can cause kickback.

3. Sigurnost osoba

a) Budite uvijek pozorni, vodite računa

o tome što radite i razumno pristupite
radu s električnim alatom. Ne rabite
stroj, ako ste umorni ili pod utjecajem
droga, alkohola ili lijekova. Jedan trenu

ili nošenja. Ako pri nošenju uređaja držite prst

na sklopki za UKLJUČENJE / ISKLJUČENJE ili
je uređaj uključen, prijeti opasnost od nezgode.

d) Prije uključenja stroja, uklonite alat

za podešavanje ili vijčani ključ. Alat ili

ključ, koji se nalazi u rotirajućem dijelu stroja,
može prouzročiti ozljede.

e) Izbjegavajte nenaravan polažaj tijela.

Vodite računa o tome da sigurno stojite
na tlu i održavate vlastitu ravnotežu.

f) Nosite prikladnu odjeću. Ne nosite

široku odjeću ili nakit. Držite kosu,
odjeću i rukavice dalje od pomičnih
dijelova. Opuštena odjeća, nakit ili duga

kosa mogu biti zahvaćeni od pomičnih dijelova.

električnim uređajima i
njihovo korištenje

a) Nemojte uređaj preopterećivati.

Koristite onaj električni uređaj koji
odgovara za Vaš rad. S odgovarajućim

električnim uređajem bolje i sigurnije ćete radi­ti u navedenom području rada.

b) Ne koristite električni uređaj s neisprav-

nim prekidačem. Električni uređaj koji se više
ne može uključiti i isključiti opasan je i treba ga
dati popraviti.

c) Izvucite utikač iz utičnice i / ili otklonite

akumulator, prije namještanja uređaja,
zamjene pribora ili odlaganja uređaja.

Ta mjera zaštite spriječava slučajno uključenje
električnog alata.

d) Čuvajte ne korišteni električni uređaj

tako da nije na dohvatu djeci. Ne
dopustite da uređaj koriste osobe
koje s njim nisu upoznate ili koje nisu
pročitale upute. Električni alati su opasni

kada ih korite osobe bez iskustva.

e) Pažljivo održavajte uređaj. Kontroli-

rajte da li pokretni dijelovi uređaja
besprijekorno funkcioniraju i da ne
zapinju, da dijelovi nisu slomljeni ili
tako oštećeni da je funkcija uređaja
upitna. Molimo da oštećene dijelove
dadete popraviti prije korištenja ure­đaja. Brojne nesreće imaju uzrok zbog loše

održavanih električnih alata.

f) Alat za rezanje treba biti oštar i čist.

Brižljivo njegovani alat za rezanje sa oštrim
reznim rubovima, manje zaglavi i jednostavniji
je za rukovanje.

g) Rabite električni alat, opremu i ugrad-

ni alat, itd. sukladno ovim uputama i
na način kako je propisano za ovaj
posebni tip uređaja. Pri tome uzmite

Uporaba električnog alata za drugu osim
predviđene primjene, može uzrokovati opasne
situacije.

5. Uporaba i rukovanje
akumulatorskim alatom

a) Koristite samo one akumulatore koje

je preporučio proizvođač. Kod električnih

uređaja za koje su namijenjene samo određene
vrste akumulatora, postoji opasnost od izbijanja
požara ako se koriste sa drugim vrstama aku­mulatora.

b) Akumulatore koristite samo u za njih

posebno namijenjenim uređajima.

Upotreba drugih akumulatora može dovesti
do ozljeda i opasnosti od izbijanja požara.

c) Držite neupotrjebljene akumulatore

daleko od kontakta s metalnim pred­metima poput uredskih spajalica,
kovanica, ključeva, čavala i sl. Malih

metalnih predmeta koji bi mogli prouzročiti
prekid kontakta. Nakon takvog kontakta bi mo­gao uslijediti kratki spoj koji bi za posljedicu
mogao imati opekline ili čak prouzročiti požar.

d) Kod neispravne upotrebe iz akumulato-

ra može iscuriti tekućina. Izbjegavajte
svaki kontakt s tom tekućinom. Nakon
mogućeg kontakta obavezno mjesto
kontakta isperite vodom. Ako tekućina
dođe u dodir s očima, odmah potražite
pomoć liječnika. Tekućina iz akumulatora u

kontaktu s kožom može prouzročiti ozljede i
opekline kože.

6. Servis

a) Električne naprave smiju popravljati

Zajedničke sigurnosne upute za brušenje,
brušenje pješčanim brusnim papirom, po­liranje, glodanje ili rezanje brušenjem:
a) Ovaj električni alat se koristiti kao

odgovaraju točno na prihvat električnog ure­đaja, ne okreću se ravnomjerno, jako vibraju i
mogu dovesti do gubitka kontrole.

f) Na jednom trnu pstavljene ploče, bru-

ni valjci, rezni alati i ostali pribor mo­raju biti u potpunosti umetnuti u steznu
čahuru ili steznu glavu. „Dio koji strši
van“, odnosno slobodno ležeći dio trna
između brusnog tijela i stezne čahure
ili stezne glave mora biti minimalan.

Ako trn nije dovoljno zategnut ili dok brusno

rabne alate. Kontrolirajte prije svake

n) Nemojte nikada električni alat položi-

o) Zategnite čvrsto nakon mijenjanja

Povratni udar i odgovarajuće sigurnosne
upute

Povratni udar je iznenadna reakcija zbog zakvače­nog ili blokiranog rotirajućeg i umetnutog alata kao
što brusna ploča, brusna traka, žičana četka itd.
Zakvačenje ili blokiranje dovodi do naglog zaustav­ljanja rotirajućeg alata. Pri tome će se nekontrolira­ni električni alat ubrzavati u smjeru suprotnom od
smjera rotacije uporabnog alata.

Ako se npr. brusna ploča zakači ili blokira u pred­metu obrade, rub brusne ploče koji uranja u predmet
obrade se može uhvatiti i tako razbiti brusnu ploču
ili uzrokovati povratni udarac. Brusna ploča se tada
kreće prema operateru ili u smjeru suprotnom od
njega, ovisno o smjeru okretanja diska na mjestu
blokade. Pri tome se brusne ploče mogu i slomiti.

Povratni udar je rezultat krive ili pogrešne uporabe
električnog alata. On se može izbjeći poduzimanjem
odgovarajućih mjera predostrožnosti kao što je opi­sano u slijedećem nastavku.

a) Držite čvrsto električni alat i postavite

svoje tijelo i svoje ruke u položaj, u
kojem možete amortizirati povratne
udare. Operater može kontrolirati snagu po-

vratnih udara pomoću odgovarajućih mjere
opreza.

b) Radite posebno oprezno na području

uglova, oštrih rubova itd. Sprječavaj­te da umetnuti alatati odskaču ili se
zakače u predmetu obrade. Rotirajući

alat naginje k tomu da se ukliješti kod kutova,
oštrih rubova ili ako se odbije. To uzrokuje gu­bitak kontrole ili povratni udar.

c) Nemojte koristiti nazubljen brusni list.

Takvi umetnuti alati prouzrokuju često povratne
udarce i gubitak kontrole nad električnim alatom.

d) Uvodite uporabni alat uvijek u istom

smjeru u materijal, u kojem oštrica na­pušta materijal (odgovara istom smje­ru u kojem se izbacuju strugotine). Ako

uvodite električni alat u krivom smjeru to uzro­kuje izbijanje reznog ruba uporabnog alata iz

predmeta obrade, pri čemu se električni alat
vuče u tom smjeru.

e) Fiksirajte uvijek čvrsto predmet obra-

de kada koristite rotacijske turpije,
rezne diskove, alate za glodanje s vi­sokom brzinom okretanja ili alate za
glodanje od karbida. Već kod malog za-

glavljivanja u utoru, ovi uporabni alati mogu
prouzročiti povratni udarac. Kod zaglavljivanja
jedne rezne ploče, ova se obično razbija. Kod
zaglavljivanja rotacijskih turpija, alata za glo­danje s visokom brzinom okretanja ili alata za

električnim alatom.

Dodatne sigurnosne upute

za brušenje i rezanje

Posebne sigurnosne upute za brušenje i
rezanje:
a) Koristite isključivo za vaš električni alat

samo brusna tijela koja su odobrena i
samo za preporučene upotrebe.
Primjer: Nikada ne brusite sa bočnim
dijelom rezne ploče. Rezne ploče su nami-

jenjene za uklanjanje materijala pomoću ruba
ploče. Bočno djelovanje snage na ova brusna
tijela mogu ih slomiti.

b) Koristite za konične i ravne štifte za

brušenje s navojem samo neoštećene
trnove ispravne veličine i dužine, bez
podrezanih strana. Prikladni trnovi sprje-

čavaju mogućnost loma.

c) Izbjegavajte blokiranje rezne ploče

ili preveliko pritiskivanje. Ne izvodite
pretjerano duboke rezove. Preoptereće-

nje na reznu ploču povećava naprezanje i
osjetljivost na zaglavljivanje ili blokiranje i time
mogućnost povratnog udarca ili prijelom bru­snog tijela.

d) Izbjegavajte sa svojim rukama pod-

ručje ispred i iza rotirajuće rezne ploče.

Ako se rezna ploča u predmetu obrade odmiče
od vaše ruke u suprotnu stranu, može u slučaju
povratnog udara doći da rezna ploča bude
bačena izravno na vas.

e) Ako se rezna ploča ukliješti ili ste pre-

kinuli rad, isključite uređaj i držite ga
mirno, dok god se ploča ne zaustavi.
Nikada ne pokušavajte povlačiti reznu
ploču iz reza, koja se još okreće, jer
inače može doći do povratnog udara.

Utvrdite i riješite uzrok zaglavljivanja.

f) Ne uključujte ponovno električni ure-

đaj, dok se još nalazi u predmeta obra­de. Neka rezna ploča najprije postigne
puni broj okretaja, prije nego oprezno
nastavite rez. U protivnom se može ploča

zaglaviti, iskočiti iz predmeta obrade ili uzro­kovati povratni udar.

g) Poduprite ploče ili velike predmete

obrade radi sprječavanja rizika od
povratnog udara zbog ukliještene re­zne ploče. Veliki predmeti obrade mogu se

uviti pod vlastitom težinom. Predmet obrade
se mora poduprijeti s obje strane ploče, u bli­zini reza i na rubu.

h) Budite posebno oprezni kod potpnih

rezova u postojećim zidovima ili dru­gim nepreglednim područjima. Potpona

kod rezanja u plinske ili vodovodne cijevi, elek­trične vodove ili druge objekte.
