Congratulations on the purchase of your
new appliance. You have selected a high-
quality product. The operating instructions
are part of this product. They contain important information about safety, use and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with
all operating and safety instructions. Use this product
only as described and only for the specified areas
of application. Please also pass these operating
instructions on to any future owner(s).
Proper use
This circular saw (hereinafter "appliance") is
designed for longitudinal, cross and mitre cuts in
firmly supported solid wood, chipboard, plastics
and lightweight construction materials. Any other
uses of or modifications to the device are deemed
to be improper usage and may result in serious
physical injury. Not for commercial use.

► The vibration level specified in these instructions
has been measured in accordance with the
standardised measuring procedure specified
in EN 60745 and can be used to make equipment comparisons. The specified vibration
emission value can also be used to make an
initial exposure estimate. The vibration level
varies in accordance with the use of the tool
and may be higher than the value specified
in these instructions in some cases. It is easy
to underestimate the vibration load if the
electrical power tool is used regularly in this
manner.
NOTE
► Try to keep the vibration loads as low as
possible. Measures to reduce the vibration
load are, e.g. wearing gloves and limiting the
working time. Wherein all states of operation
must be included (e.g. times when the power
tool is switched off and times where the
power tool is switched on but running without
load).

► Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions
may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury.
1. Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered
or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create
sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
2. Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never
modify the plug in any way. Do not use any
adapter plugs with earthed (grounded)
power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching
outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or ground-
ed surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges
or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use
an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location
is unavoidable, use a residual current device
(RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD
reduces the risk of electric shock.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or batteryoperated (cordless) power tool.

3. Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a power
tool. Do not use a power tool while you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A moment of inattention while
operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always
wear eye protection. Protective equipment
such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard
hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the
switch is in the off-position before connecting
to power source and/or battery pack, picking
up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools
with your finger on the switch or energising
power tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key
left attached to a rotating part of the power tool
may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better control
of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewel-
lery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of
dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure
these are connected and properly used.
Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
4. Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application. The correct
power tool will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does
not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or the battery pack from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment
or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts
and any other condition that may affect the
power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the
power tool repaired before use. Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier
to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits
etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and
the work to be performed. Use of the power
tool for operations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation.

5. Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is maintained.

Cutting procedures
a) DANGER: Keep hands away from
cutting area and the blade. Keep
your second hand on auxiliary
handle, or motor housing. If both hands are
holding the saw, they cannot be cut by the blade.
b) Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The
guard cannot protect you from the blade below
the workpiece.
c) Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the
workpiece. Less than a full tooth of the blade
teeth should be visible below the workpiece.
d) Never hold piece being cut in your hands
or across your leg. Secure the workpiece to
a stable platform. It is important to support
the work properly to minimize body exposure,
blade binding, or loss of control.
e) Hold the power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces only, when performing an operation
where the cutting tool may contact hidden
wiring or its own cord. Contact with a “live”
wire will also make exposed metal parts of the
power tool “live” and could give the operator an
electric shock.
f) When ripping, always use a rip fence or
straight edge guide. This improves the accuracy of cut and reduces the chance of blade
binding.
g) Always use blades with correct size and
shape (diamond versus round) of arbour
holes. Blades that do not match the mounting
hardware of the saw will run eccentrically, causing loss of control.
h) Never use damaged or incorrect blade
washers or bolt. The blade washers and bolt
were specially designed for your saw, for optimum performance and safety of operation.

Kickback causes and related warnings
▯ kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched,
bound or misaligned saw blade, causing an
uncontrolled saw to lift up and out of the workpiece toward the operator;
▯ when the blade is pinched or bound tightly
by the kerf closing down, the blade stalls and
the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back
toward the operator;
▯ if the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in
the cut, the teeth at the back edge of the blade
can dig into the top surface of the wood causing
the blade to climb out of the kerf and jump back
toward the operator.
Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or conditions and can
be avoided by taking proper precautions as given
below.
a) Maintain a firm grip with both hands on the
saw and position your arms to resist kickback
forces. Position your body to either side of the
blade, but not in line with the blade. Kickback
could cause the saw to jump backwards, but kickback forces can be controlled by the operator, if
proper precautions are taken.
b) When blade is binding, or when interrupting
a cut for any reason, release the trigger and
hold the saw motionless in the material until
the blade comes to a complete stop. Never
attempt to remove the saw from the work or
pull the saw backward while the blade is in
motion or kickback may occur. Investigate and
take corrective actions to eliminate the cause of
blade binding.
c) When restarting a saw in the workpiece,
centre the saw blade in the kerf and check
that saw teeth are not engaged into the
material. If saw blade is binding, it may walk
up or kickback from the workpiece as the saw is
restarted.

d) Support large panels to minimise the risk of
blade pinching and kickback. Large panels
tend to sag under their own weight. Supports
must be placed under the panel on both sides,
near the line of cut and near the edge of the
panel.
e) Do not use dull or damaged blades.
Unsharpened or improperly set blades produce
narrow kerf causing excessive friction, blade
binding and kickback.
f) Blade depth and bevel adjusting locking
levers must be tight and secure before making
cut. If blade adjustment shifts while cutting, it
may cause binding and kickback.
g) Use extra caution when sawing into existing
walls or other blind areas. The protruding blade
may cut objects that can cause kickback.
Lower guard function
a) Check lower guard for proper closing
before each use. Do not operate the saw if
lower guard does not move freely and close
instantly. Never clamp or tie the lower guard
into the open position. If saw is accidentally
dropped, lower guard may be bent. Raise the
lower guard with the retracting handle and
make sure it moves freely and does not touch
the blade or any other part, in all angles and
depths of cut.
b) Check the operation of the lower guard
spring. If the guard and the spring are not
operating properly, they must be serviced before use. Lower guard may operate sluggishly
due to damaged parts, gummy deposits, or a
build-up of debris.
c) Lower guard may be retracted manually
only for special cuts such as “plunge cuts”
and “compound cuts”. Raise lower guard by
retracting handle and as soon as blade enters
the material, the lower guard must be released.
For all other sawing, the lower guard should
operate automatically.
d) Always observe that the lower guard is
covering the blade before placing saw down
on bench or floor. An unprotected, coasting
blade will cause the saw to walk backwards,
cutting whatever is in its path. Be aware of the
time it takes for the blade to stop after switch is
released.
Supplementary notes
■ Do not use any grinding discs.
■ Use only saw blade with diameters correspond-
ing to the label on the saw.
■ When sawing wood or other materials which
may create dusts that are hazardous to health,
always connect a suitable, certified vacuum
extractor device.
■ Wear a dust mask when sawing wood.
■ Use only the recommended saw blades.
■ Always wear ear protectors.
■ Do not allow the teeth of the saw blade to overheat.
■ When sawing plastic, avoid melting the plastic.

since this can lead to chemical leakage.
► Do not attempt to recharge batteries. Do not
charge batteries unless they are explicitly
labelled as "rechargeable". There is a risk of
explosion!
DANGER
► Check the condition of the batteries at
regular intervals. Leaking chemicals can
cause permanent damage to the device. Take
particular care when handling damaged or
leaking batteries. Risk of chemical burns!
Wear protective gloves.
► Chemicals which leak from a battery can
cause skin irritation. In the event of contact
with the skin, rinse with copious amounts of
water. If the chemicals come into contact with
your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water, do not
rub and consult a doctor immediately.
► Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Children might put batteries into their mouth
and swallow them. If a battery has been
swallowed, seek medical assistance IM-
MEDIATELY.
► Do not mix different types of batteries.
► Always insert the batteries the right way
round (observe correct polarity) otherwise
there is a danger that they could explode.
► If you do not intend to use the device for a
long time, remove the batteries.
Changing the batteries:
■ Open the cover of the battery compartment
with a suitable Philips screwdriver.
■ Remove the spent batteries.
■ Insert two new 1.5 V alkaline button cells (type
AG 13/LR 44, e.g. GPA 76) observing the
correct polarity and screw the battery compartment cover firmly closed.

If operating and adjustment equipment is used or
procedures other than those specified here are
carried out, this may result in hazardous radiation
exposure.

system ensures that for a particular speed range
the power output remains constant when working
on harder and more resistant materials.
Fitting/changing the saw blade
NOTE
► All blades used should conform to EN 847-1.
Always pull out the plug from the mains before
changing the saw blade
1. Set the cutting depth (using the locking screw )
to the minimum position, 0 mm.
2. Swing the blade guard back using the release
lever and put the device down.
3. Press the spindle lock button
and use the Allen key to release the clamping
screw/washer . Now remover the clamping
screw/washer and the clamping flange
(see also Fig. A).

► We generally recommend setting the cutting
depth to approx. 3 mm more than the thickness
of the material. This ensures that you achieve
a clean cut.

on and off" – and then place it with the front
edge of the base plate on the material.
2. Align the machine using the guide fence or
by using a marked line.
3. Hold the machine in both hands using the
handles and saw by exerting an even pressure.

Tips and tricks
■ Avoid damaging the cutting edge of sensitive
materials, e.g. coated chipboards or doors, by
sticking masking tape along the cutting line.
Another benefit of this is that it is easier to mark
a line on the tape than on a shiny surface. An
even more effective method of protecting the
cutting edges is to clamp a thin piece of wood
along the cutting line (this wood is also sawn).
Set rotational speed
■ Turn the adjusting wheel to the desired
rotational speed (arrow marking ▲)

Switch the appliance off and remove
the power plug before starting any
work.
■ The appliance must always be kept clean, dry
and free from oil or grease.
■ To clean the casing, use a soft dry cloth.
WARNING!
■ If the connecting cable needs to be replaced,
this must be carried out by the manufacturer
or his representative in order to avoid safety
hazards.
Disposal
The packaging consists of environmentally
friendly material. It can be disposed of in
the local recycling containers.
Do not dispose of power tools in
your normal domestic waste!
European Directive 2012/19/EU requires that wornout power tools are collected separately and fed
into an environmentally compatible recycling
process.
Your local community or municipal authorities can
provide information on how to dispose of the wornout appliance.
Warranty
The warranty provided for this appliance is
3 years from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
In the event of a warranty claim, please contact
your Customer Service by telephone. This is
the only way to guarantee free return of your
goods.
The warranty only covers claims for material and
manufacturing defects, not for transport damage,
wearing parts or for damage to fragile components
such as switches or batteries. This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial
purposes. The warranty is deemed void if this product
has been subjected to improper or inappropriate
handling, abuse or modifications which were not
carried out by one of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way
by this warranty. The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs made under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
Damage and defects present at the time of purchase
must be reported immediately after unpacking, or
no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period
are chargeable.
Disposing of the batteries
Batteries must be recycled in accordance
with Directive 2006/66/EC and must not
be disposed of with household refuse.
Battery users are obliged by law to take all
rechargeable and single-use batteries to a collection
point operated by a public authority or a retailer.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries are disposed of in an environmentally
congruent manner. Only dispose of batteries when
they are fully discharged. Batteries must be removed
from the device prior to disposal.

Anvendelsesområde
Den bærbare rundsav (herefter kaldet "produktet")
er beregnet til savning af langsgående og tværgående savsnit samt geringsnit i massivt træ, spånplader, plast og lette byggematerialer med fast underlag. Al anden form for anvendelse eller ændring af
maskinen anses for at være uden for anvendelsesområdet og indebærer betydelige farer for uheld.
Ikke beregnet til erhvervsmæssig brug.

Den angivne vibrationsemissionsværdi kan
også anvendes til en indledende vurdering
af faren ved vibrationsniveauet. Vibrationsniveauet ændrer sig afhængigt af elværktøjets
anvendelse og kan i mange tilfælde ligge

Generelle sikkerheds-
anvisninger for
elværktøjer
ADVARSEL!
► Læs alle sikkerhedsanvisninger og -in-
struktioner. Hvis de angivne sikkerhedsanvis-
ninger og -instruktioner ikke overholdes, kan det
medføre elektrisk stød, brand og/eller alvorlige
kvæstelser.
Opbevar sikkerhedsanvisningerne og
-instruktionerne til senere brug.
Begrebet "elværktøj", der anvendes i sikkerhedsanvisningerne, henviser både til elværktøj, der
anvendes med ledning til lysnettet, og batteridrevet
elværktøj (uden strømledning).
1. Sikkerhed på arbejdspladsen
a) Hold arbejdspladsen ren og godt oplyst. Rod
og dårligt oplyste arbejdspladser kan medføre
uheld.
b) Arbejd aldrig med elværktøj i eksplosions-
farlige omgivelser, hvor der befinder sig
brændbare væsker, gasser eller støv. Elværk-
tøj danner gnister, som kan antænde støvet eller
dampene.
c) Hold børn og andre personer på afstand, når
elværktøjet bruges. Hvis du bliver distraheret,
kan du miste kontrollen over produktet.
2. Elektrisk sikkerhed
a) Elværktøjets tilslutningsstik skal passe til stik-
kontakten. Stikket må ikke ændres på nogen
måde. Der må ikke bruges adapterstik sammen med beskyttelsesjordet elværktøj. Uæn-
drede stik og de rigtige stikkontakter reducerer
risikoen for elektrisk stød.
b) Undgå kropskontakt med jordforbundne
overflader som f.eks. rør, radiatorer, komfurer
og køleskabe. Der er øget risiko for elektrisk
stød, hvis din krop har jordforbindelse.
c) Hold elværktøjet væk fra regn og fugt. Hvis der
trænger vand ind i elværktøjet, øges risikoen for
elektrisk stød.
d) Brug ikke ledningen til noget, den ikke er
beregnet til, f.eks. til at bære eller hænge
værktøjet op i eller til at trække stikket ud af
stikkontakten. Hold ledningen på afstand af
varme, olie, skarpe kanter eller produktets
bevægelige dele. Beskadigede eller sammenfil-
trede ledninger øger risikoen for elektrisk stød.

e) Hvis du anvender et elværktøj udendørs, skal
der bruges en forlængerledning, som også er
godkendt til brug udendørs. Når du anvender
en forlængerledning, der er beregnet til udendørs brug, reduceres risikoen for elektrisk stød.
f) Hvis det ikke er muligt at undgå at bruge
elværktøjet i fugtige omgivelser, skal der
installeres en fejlstrømsafbryder. Installation
af en fejlstrømsafbryder reducerer risikoen for
elektrisk stød.
3. Personsikkerhed
a) Vær altid opmærksom og bevidst om, hvad du
laver, og arbejd fornuftigt med elværktøjet.
Brug ikke elværktøjet, hvis du er ukoncentreret
eller påvirket af narkotika, alkohol eller medicin. Selv et øjebliks uopmærksomhed ved brug
af elværktøjet kan medføre alvorlige kvæstelser.
b) Brug personligt beskyttelsesudstyr, og bær
altid beskyttelsesbriller. Når du bruger personligt beskyttelsesudstyr som f.eks. støvmaske,
skridsikre sikkerhedssko, beskyttelseshandsker,
sikkerhedshjelm og høreværn afhængigt af
elværktøjets type og anvendelse, reduceres
risikoen for kvæstelser.
c) Undgå utilsigtet igangsætning. Kontrollér at
elværktøjet er slukket, før du forbinder det
med strømforsyningen og/eller tilslutter batteriet, tager elværktøjet op eller bærer det.
Hvis du har en finger på kontakten, eller hvis
elværktøjet er tændt, mens du bærer det, kan
der opstå uheld.
d) Fjern indstillingsværktøj eller skruenøgler,
før du tænder elværktøjet. Hvis der sidder et
værktøj eller en skruenøgle på en roterende del
af elværktøjet, kan det medføre personskader.
e) Undgå unormale kropsstillinger. Sørg for,
at du står sikkert, og hold altid balancen.
Derved kan du bedre kontrollere elværktøjet i
uventede situationer.
f) Bær velegnet påklædning. Bær ikke løstsid-
dende tøj eller smykker. Hold hår, tøj og
handsker på afstand af dele, der bevæger
sig. Løst tøj, smykker eller hår kan gribe fat i
dele, der bevæger sig.
g) Hvis der monteres opsugnings- og opsam-
lingsanordninger, skal disse tilsluttes og
anvendes korrekt. Anvendelse af denne type
anordninger nedsætter støvrisikoen.
4. Anvendelse og håndtering af
elværktøj
a) Overbelast ikke elværktøjet. Brug et elværk-
tøj, der er egnet til arbejdet. Du arbejder
bedre og mere sikkert i det angivne effektområde, hvis du bruger det rigtige elværktøj.
b) Brug ikke elværktøj med defekt kontakt.
Elværktøj, som ikke længere kan tændes og
slukkes, er farligt og skal repareres.
c) Træk stikket ud af stikkontakten og/eller fjern
det genopladelige batteri, før du indstiller
elværktøjet, tilbehørsdelene eller lægger det
fra dig. Disse forholdsregler forhindrer, at el-
værktøjet starter ved en fejl.
d) Opbevar elværktøj uden for børns række-
vidde, når værktøjet ikke anvendes. Personer,
som ikke kender produktet, eller som ikke har
læst disse anvisninger, må ikke bruge produktet. Elværktøj er farligt, hvis det anvendes af
uerfarne personer.
e) Vedligehold elværktøjet omhyggeligt. Kon-
trollér, om bevægelige dele fungerer, som
de skal og ikke sætter sig fast, om dele er
defekte eller så beskadigede, at elværktøjets
funktion er påvirket. Få beskadigede dele
repareret, inden du bruger produktet. Mange
uheld skyldes dårligt vedligeholdt elværktøj.
f) Hold skærende værktøjer skarpe og rene.
Omhyggeligt vedligeholdt værktøj med skarpe
skær sætter sig ikke så ofte fast og er lettere at
styre.
g) Brug elværktøj, tilbehør, udskiftelige dele osv.
iht. disse anvisninger. Tag hensyn til arbejdsbetingelserne og det arbejde, der skal udføres. Anvendelse af elværktøj til andet end de
tiltænkte anvendelsesområder kan føre til farlige
situationer.

5. Service
a) Lad kun en kvalificeret reparatør reparere dit
elværktøj og kun med originale reservedele.
Derved garanteres det, at elværktøjets sikkerhed bevares.
Specielle sikkerhedsanvisninger for
bærbare rundsave
Sikkerhedsanvisninger for alle savtyper
Savning
a) FARE! Ræk aldrig hænderne ind i
saveområdet og rør aldrig savklingen.
Hold i ekstrahåndtaget eller motor-
huset med den anden hånd. Hvis du holder
saven med begge hænder, kan de ikke blive
skadet af savklingen.
b) Ræk aldrig ind under arbejdsemnet. Beskyt-
telsesafdækningen kan ikke beskytte dig mod
savklingen under arbejdsemnet.
c) Tilpas skæredybden efter arbejdsemnets
tykkelse. Der må højst være en fuld tandhøjde
synlig under arbejdsemnet.
d) Fasthold aldrig det arbejdsemne, som skal
saves, i hånden eller over benet. Fastgør arbejdsemnet i en stabil holder. Det er vigtigt at
fastgøre arbejdsemnet ordentligt for at minimere
risikoen for kropskontakt, klemning af savklingen eller tab af kontrol.
e) Hold fast i elværktøjet på de isolerede gri-
beflader, når du udfører et arbejde, hvor de
udskiftelige dele kan ramme skjulte strømledninger eller værktøjets egen ledning. Kontakt
med en spændingsførende ledning gør også
elværktøjets metaldele spændingsførende og
fører til elektrisk stød.
f) Anvend altid et anslag eller et lige kantstyr
ved langsgående savning. Det forbedrer skærenøjagtigheden og nedsætter risikoen for, at
savklingen sætter sig fast.
g) Benyt altid savklinger med den rigtige stør-
relse og med passende montagehul (f.eks.
stjerneformet eller rundt). Savklinger, som ikke
passer til savens montagedele, kører ujævnt og
fører til tab af kontrol.
h) Anvend aldrig beskadigede eller forkerte
underlagsskiver og skruer til savklingen. Savklingens underlagsskiver og skruer er specielt
konstrueret til saven med henblik på optimal
ydelse og driftssikkerhed.
Yderligere sikkerhedsanvisninger for alle
savtyper
Tilbageslag - årsager og tilhørende sikkerhedsanvisninger
▯ Et tilbageslag er den pludselige reaktion som
følge af en fastklemt, blokeret eller forkert
indstillet savklinge. Hvis saven ikke er under
kontrol, fører det til, at den løfter sig op fra
arbejdsemnet i retning af operatøren;
▯ Hvis savklingen sætter sig fast i savsnittet, fordi
det lukker sig, blokerer den, og motorkraften
slynger saven tilbage i retning af operatøren;
▯ Hvis savklingen drejes eller vinkles forkert i
savsnittet kan tænderne på savklingens bagkant
sætte sig fast i arbejdsemnets overflade, hvorved savklingen bevæger sig ud ad savsnittet og
springer tilbage i retning af operatøren.
Et tilbageslag er følgen af, at saven bruges forkert
eller er defekt. Det kan forhindres med de nødvendige forholdsregler, som beskrives efterfølgende.
a) Hold godt fast i saven med begge hænder, og
hold armene i en stilling, så du kan afværge
tilbageslagskræfterne. Hold dig altid på
siden af savklingen; bring aldrig savklingen
på linje med din krop. Ved et tilbageslag kan
rundsaven springe tilbage, men ved at træffe
egnede forholdsregler kan operatøren kontrollere tilbageslagskræfterne.
b) Hvis savklingen sidder fast, eller du afbryder
arbejdet, skal saven slukkes og holdes i ro i
materialet, til savklingen står helt stille. Forsøg
aldrig at fjerne saven fra arbejdsemnet eller
at trække den baglæns, så længe savklingen
roterer - i modsat fald kan det resultere i et
tilbageslag. Find og afhjælp årsagen til fast-
klemningen af savklingen.

c) Hvis du ønsker at genstarte en sav, som stadig
sidder i arbejdsemnet, skal du centrere savklingen i savsnittet og kontrollere, at savklingens tænder ikke sidder fast i arbejdsemnet.
Hvis savklingen er i klemme, kan den bevæge
sig ud ad arbejdsemnet eller forårsage et tilbageslag, når saven genstartes.
d) Understøt store plader, så risikoen for tilba-
geslag på grund af en fastklemt savklinge
formindskes. Store plader kan alene ved deres
egenvægt bøje ned. Plader skal understøttes på
begge sider, både i nærheden af savsnittet og
langs kanten.
e) Anvend aldrig en sløv eller beskadiget savklin-
ge. Savklinger med sløve eller forkert justerede
tænder resulterer på grund af et for snævert savsnit en øget friktion, fastklemning af savklingen
og tilbageslag.
f) Før savning skal indstillingerne for skære-
dybde og skærevinkel fastspændes. Hvis
du ændrer indstillingerne under savning, kan
savklingen blive fastklemt og der kan opstå et
tilbageslag.
g) Vær særligt forsigtig ved savning i eksiste-
rende vægge eller andre områder, hvor man
ikke kan se, hvad man skærer i. Den indtræn-
gende savklinge kan blokere ved savning i
skjulte genstande og forårsage et tilbageslag.
b) Kontrollér at fjederen til den nedre beskyt-
telsesafdækning fungerer. Vent med at bruge
produktet, hvis den nedre beskyttelsesafdækning og fjederen ikke fungerer korrekt.
Beskadigede dele, klæbrige aflejringer eller
ophobninger af spåner kan gøre den nedre
beskyttelsesafdæknings funktion mere træg.
c) Åbn kun den nedre beskyttelsesafdækning
manuelt til særlige savsnit såsom "dyk- og vinkelsnit". Åbn den nedre beskyttelsesafdækning
med tilbagetrækningsarmen og slip den, så
snart savklingen er dykket ned i arbejdsemnet.
Ved alle andre savearbejder skal den nedre
beskyttelsesafdækning arbejde automatisk.
d) Læg ikke saven på en arbejdsbænk eller på
jorden, uden at den nedre beskyttelsesafdækning dækker savklingen. En ubeskyttet
savklinge, der stadig roterer, bevæger saven
i modsat retning af snitretningen og saver alt,
hvad der kommer i vejen. Vær opmærksom på
savens efterløbstid.
Den nedre beskyttelsesafdæknings funktion
a) Kontrollér før enhver anvendelse, at den nedre
beskyttelsesafdækning lukker korrekt. Brug
aldrig saven, hvis den nedre beskyttelsesafdækning ikke bevæger sig frit og ikke straks
lukker. Klem eller bind aldrig den nedre beskyttelsesafdækning fast i åben position. Hvis
saven ved et uheld falder til jorden, kan den
nedre beskyttelsesafdækning blive bøjet. Åbn
beskyttelsesafdækningen med tilbagetrækningsarmen og sørg for, at den bevæger sig frit og
ikke berører savklingen eller andre dele i alle
skærevinkler og -dybder.
