device. You have chosen a high quality product. The
instructions for use are part of the product. They
contain important information concerning safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all of the safety information
and instructions for use. Only use the unit as de

Proper use
The device is intended for sawing, cutting to length
or trimming of securely supported objects made of
wood, plastic and building materials. The sabre
saw is suitable for rough sawing work, straight and
curved cuts and sawing flush. Please take note of
the information on saw blades and the advice on
working with your saw. Any other use or modification to the device shall be considered as improper
use and could give rise to considerable dangers.
The manufacturer will not accept liability for loss or
damage arising from improper use. The device is
not intended for commercial use.

1. Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

atmospheres, such as in the presence
of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Power tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away
while operating a power tool. Distractio

2. Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do
not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodified plug
and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric
shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces, such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or
wet conditions. Water entering a power tool
will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the
cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk
of electric shock.

use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor

3. Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing
and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power
tool while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating
power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment.
Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for
appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure
the switch is in the off-position before
connecting to power source and / or
battery pack, picking up or carrying
the tool. Carrying power tools with your fing

before turning the power tool on. A
wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part
of the power tool may result in personal injury.

e) Do not overreach. Keep proper foot-
ing and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long
hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connec-
tion of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected
and properly used. Use of dust collection
can reduce dust-related hazards.
4. Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the
correct power tool for your applica

and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power
source and / or the battery pack from
the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing power tools. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the power
tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach
of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for mis-
alignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the power
tool repaired before use. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

5. Service

could cause metal parts of the device to become live and lead to electric shock.
If you use the device outdoors, always connect
it through a residual current device (RCD) with
a maximum trip current of 30 mA.
Securely support the workpiece. Use clamps or
a vice to grip the workpiece firmly. This is much
safer than holding it in your hand.
Never support yourself by placing your hands
near or in front of the device or the workpiece
surface. A slip can result in injury.
If a dangerous situation arises, pull the mains
plug immediately out of the mains socket.
Always work with the mains lead leading away
from the rear of the device.

For this reason, always make sure that nobody
is placed in any danger and that there are no
inflammable materials near the working area.

with harmful / noxious dusts represents a risk to
the health of the person operating the device
and to anyone near the work area.
Wear protective glasses and a dust mask!
Do not saw materials containing asbestos.
Asbestos is a known carcinogen.
When sawing building materials, observe the
statutory requirements and the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
Do not work on moist materials or damp surfaces.
Switch the device on before you bring it into
contact with the workpiece.
CAUTION! Do not allow the blade to come
into contact with a solid object or the floor when
the device is operating – danger of kickback!
The shoe 5 must always lie against the work-
piece when the device is sawing.
Do not put the device down before it has been
switched off and has reached a standstill.
Use only sharp, defect-free blades. Replace
cracked, bent or blunt saw blades immediately.
Always keep the device clean, dry and free of
oil or grease.

Pull the mains plug out of the
mains socket before you carry out any task on the device. Failure to observe this advice may lead to injury.
Turn the quick-release chuck 7 and hold it in
the turned position.
Press the selected saw blade up to the stop

Advice about ways of
working when sawing
Before sawing, check the workpiece for foreign
bodies such as nails, screws etc. and remove

Follow these steps:

Guiding the sabre saw

Plunge sawing can be used only in soft materials
(such as wood etc.).
Follow these steps:
1. Place the sabre saw with the underside of the

against the workpiece.
Switch on the device.
2. Tilt the sabre saw forward and plunge the saw
blade into the workpiece.
3. Bring the sabre saw vertical and continue sawing along the cutting line.
Note: The saw blade used for this should not be
longer than 152 mm!

Näissä ohjeissa ilmoitettu värähtelytaso on määritetty EN 60745 -standardissa
normitetulla mittausmenetelmällä ja sitä voidaan
käyttää laitevertailussa. Mainittua värähtelyarvoa
voidaan käyttää myös altistumisen alustavaan arviointiin.
Värähtelytaso muuttuu sähkötyökalun käytön mu
kaan
ja se saattaa joissakin tapauksissa ylittää tässä ohjeessa mainitun arvon. Värähtelyrasitusta saatetaan
aliarvioida, jos sähkötyökalua käytetään säännöllisesti tällä tavalla.
Huomio: Liikekuormituksen arvioimiseksi tietyn
työajan kestäessä on huomioitava myös ajat, jolloin
laite on sammutettuna, tai ajat, jolloin laite on käynnissä, mutta ei työkäytössä. Tämä saattaa vähentää
merkittävästi liikerasitusta kokonaistyöskentelyajan
kestäessä.
Sähkötyökaluja koskevat
yleiset turvaohjeet
Lue kaikki turva-
ja muut ohjeet! Turva- ja muiden ohjei-
den laiminlyönti voi aiheuttaa sähköiskun,
tulipalon ja / tai vakavia loukkaantumisia.
Säilytä kaikki turva- ja muut ohjeet tulevaa
tarvetta varten!
Turvallisuusohjeissa käytetty käsite ”sähkötyökalu“
koskee verkkokäyttöisiä sähkötyökoneita (verkkojohdolla) ja akkukäyttösisiä sähkötyökoneita (ilman
johtoa).
1. Työpaikkaturvallisuus
yhdessä suojamaadoitettujen laitteiden
kanssa. Alkuperäinen pistoke ja sopivat pis-
torasia vähentävät sähköiskuvaaraa.
b) Vältä kosketusta maadoitettuihin pin-
toihin, kuten putkiin, lämpöpattereihin, liesiin sekä jääkaappeihin. Vaarana
on saada sähköisku, jos kehosi on maadoitettu.
c)
Älä pidä laitetta sateessa tai muussa
kosteudessa. Veden pääsy laitteeseen lisää
sähköisku vaaraa.
d) Älä kanna laitetta riiputtamalla sitä
kaapelista ja vedä kaapeli irti pistorasiasta pitämällä kiinni pistokkeesta.
Älä jätä kaapelia kuumaan paikkaan,
älä päästä siihen öljyä, varo teräviä
reunoja sekä laitteen pyöriviä osia.
Vialliset tai kietoutuneet kaapelit lisäävät riskiä
saada sähköisku.
e) Jos työskentelet ulkotiloissa, käytä
silloin jatkokaapelia, jonka käyttö on
sallittu myös ulkotilaan. Ulkotilaan sovel-
tuva kaapeli vähentää riskiä saada sähköisku.
f) Jos sähkötyökalua joudutaan käyttä-
mään kosteassa ympäristössä, on
käytettävä vikavirtakytkintä. Vikavirta-
kytkimen käyttö pienentää sähköiskun vaaraa.
a) Pidä työskentelypaikka puhtaana ja
hyvin valaistuna. Epäjärjestys ja huono
valaistus voivat johtaa tapaturmiin.
b) Älä käytä laitetta räjähdysvaaralli-
sessa ympäristössä, jossa säilytetään
helposti syttyviä nesteitä, kaasuja tai
jossa kehittyy pölyä. Sähkötyökalut kehit-
tävät kipinöintiä, joka voi sytyttää pölyn tai
höyryn.
c) Lapsien ja asiattomien henkilöiden
läsnäolo työpaikalla laitteen ollessa
käynnissä ei ole sallittua. Voit helposti
menettää kontrollin laitteeseen.
2. Sähköturvallisuus
a) Laitteen pistokkeen pitää sopia pisto-
rasiaan. Pistoketta ei saa muuttaa
millään tavalla. Älä käytä adapteria
3. Henkilöiden turvallisuus
a) Ole aina tarkkaavainen, tarkista aina,
mitä teet ja toimi järkevästi sähkölaitteilla työskennellessäsi. Älä käytä
laitetta, jos olet väsynyt, käyttänyt
huumeita, alkoholia tai lääkkeitä.
Epätarkkaavaisuus laitetta käytettäessä voi
aiheuttaa vaikeita loukkaantumisia.
b) Käytä henkilökohtaisia turvavarustei-
ta ja suojalaseja aina. Henkilökohtaisten
turvavarusteiden käyttö, kuten pölynaamari,
turvakengät, kypärä tai kuulosuoja, vähentävät loukkaantumisriskiä.
c) Varo käynnistämästä laitetta vahin-
gossa. Varmista, että sähkötyökalu
on kytketty pois päältä, ennen kuin
liität sen pistorasiaan, nostat sen tai
kannat sitä. Tapaturmat ovat mahdollisia,

d) Poista kaikki työkalut ja ruuviavaimet
paikalta ennen kuin kytket laitteen.
Pyörivässä laiteosassa oleva työkalu tai avain
voi johtaa tapaturmaan.
e) Vältä työskentelemästä epätavalli-
sessa asennossa. Asetu tukevaan
asentoon ja pysyttele koko ajan tasapainossa. Pystyt silloin hallitsemaan laitteen
erityisesti yllättävissä tilanteissa.
f) Käytä sopivaa vaatetusta. Älä käytä
löysiä vaatteita äläkä pidä koruja.
Hiukset, vaatteet ja käsineet on pidettävä etäällä liikkuvista osista. Löysät
vaatteet, korut ja avonaiset hiukset voivat jäädä
kiinni liikkuviin osiin.
g) Jos laitteeseen asennetaan pölynimu-
ri- ja lastunkeruulaite, varmistu sitä
ennen, että osat on liitetty ja niitä käytetään oikein. Näiden laitteiden liittäminen
vähentää pölystä aiheutuvia vaaroja.
4. Sähkötyökalujen huolellinen
käsittely ja käyttö
a) Älä ylirasita laitetta. Käytä työssäsi
tätä työtä varten tarkoitettua sähkötyökalua. Sopivan sähkötyökalun kanssa
työskentelet paremmin ja varmemmin sen tehoalueella.
b) Älä käytä mitään sähkötyökalua,
jonka käynnistyskytkin on viallinen.
Sähkötyökalu, jota ei voi enää kytkeä päälle
tai päältä, on vaarallinen ja se on korjattava.
c) Irrota pistotulppa pistorasiasta, ennen
kuin säädät laitetta, vaihdat sen varusteita tai laitat sen varastoon. Nämä
varotoimenpiteet estävät sen, että laite käynnistyy
vahingossa.
d) Säilytä sähkötyökaluja silloin, kun nii-
tä ei käytetä, lasten ulottumattomissa.
Älä anna henkilöiden käyttää laitetta,
jos he eivät tunne sitä tai eivät ole lukeneet näitä käyttöohjeita. Sähkötyöka-
lut ovat vaarallisia, jos kokemattomat henkilöt
käyttävät niitä.

e) Hoida laitetta huolellisesti. Tarkasta,
toimivatko sen liikkuvat osat moitteettomasti ja että ne eivät jumitu;
tarkasta, onko joku osa katkennut tai
murtunut tai vahingoittunut niin, että
se haittaa laitteen toimintaa. Korjauta
vialliset osat aina ennen kuin käytät
laitetta. Moni tapaturma johtuu huonosti
huolletuista sähkötyökaluista.
f) Pidä terät terävinä ja puhtaina. Huolella
hoidetut leikkuuterät terävine leikkuureunoineen
eivät juutu niin helposti kiinni työkappaleeseen
ja ne toimivat kevyemmin.
g) Käytä sähkötyökaluja, lisätarvikkei-
ta, käyttötarvikkeita jne. tässä esitettyjen määräysten mukaisesti ja aina
erityistä tyyppiä vastaavasti. Ota
huomioon työolosuhteet ja työ. Sähkö-
työkalujen käyttö muuhun kuin sille määrättyyn
tarkoitukseen voi aiheuttaa vaarallisia tilanteita.
5. Huolto
a) Anna laitteet huoltoliikkeen tai sähkö-
liikkeen korjattavaksi. Korjauksissa

aa käyttää vain alkuperäisiä varaosia

Puukkosahan laitekohtaiset
turvallisuusohjeet
Loukkaantumis- ja tulipalovaaran sekä
terveydellisten vaarojen välttäminen:
Pidä laitteen eristetystä otealueesta
kiinni työskennellessäsi,jos sattuu,
että laite joutuu kosketuksiin työkalun piilossa olevien virtajohtojen tai
laitteen oman sähköjohdon kanssa.
Kosketus jännitteelliseen johtoon voi johtaa
jännitteen myös laitteen metalliosiin, jolloin
seurauksena voi olla sähköisku.
Kun työskentelet ulkona, liitä laite vikavirta (FI)-
suojakytkimellä maksimi 30 mA laukaisuvirtaan.
Varmista työkappale. Kiinnitä työkappale ruuvi-
penkkiin / käytä muuta tukevaa kiinnitysjärjestelyä
työkappaleen paikoillaan pitämiseen. Työkap-
.
pale pysyy näin tukevammin paikoillaan kuin
käsin kiinnitetty.
Älä missään tapauksessa tue käsiäsi laitteen
viereiseen tai edessä olevaan tai käsiteltävään
pintaan, sillä siitä voi seurata tapaturma, jos
käsi luiskahtaa paikoiltaan.
Irrota vaaratilanteessa verkkopistoke välittömästi
pistorasiasta.
Vie verkkojohto laitteelle aina takakautta.
KIPINÖINTI VOI AIHEUTTAA TULIPA-
LOVAARAN! Metallin sahauksessa syntyy
usein kipinöitä. Varmistaudu siksi ehdottomasti,
ettei kukaan ole vaarassa eikä palavia materiaaleja ole työalueen lähistöllä.
MYRKYLLISIÄ HÖYRYJÄ!
Vaarallisten / myrkyllisten pölyjen käsittely voi
vaarantaa käyttöhenkilöstön ja lähellä olevien
henkilöiden terveyden.
Käytä työskennellessäsi suojalaseja ja hengityssuojainta!
Asbestipitoisen materiaalin työstäminen on kiel-
letty. Asbestin on todettu aiheuttavan syöpää.
Noudata rakennusmateriaaleja sahatessasi
lain määräyksiä ja valmistajan suosituksia.
Älä työstä kosteita tai märkiä materiaaleja.
Käynnistä laite aina ennen kuin viet sen työkap-
paletta vasten.
VARO! Vältä kontaktia kiinteisiin esineisiin, kun
laite on käynnissä. Seurauksena voi olla takaiskuvaara!
Jalkalevyn 5 on aina oltava työkappaleella,
kun laite on käytössä.
Sammuta laite ja anna sen pysähtyä aina en-
nen kuin lasket sen pois kädestä.
Käytä vain teräviä, moitteettomia sahanteriä.
Vaihda särkyneet, vääntyneet tai tylsät sahanterät välittömästi.
Laite on pidettävä aina puhtaana ja kuivana
eikä siinä saa olla öljyä eikä voitelurasvoja.

Kierrä pikakiinnitintä 7 ja pidä se kierrettynä.
Paina tarvittava sahanterä rajoittimeen asti pika-
kiinnittimeen
Päästä pikakiinnitin 7 irti, sen on palattava ta-
kaisin lähtöasentoonsa. Sahanterä on nyt lukittu.

Käsikahvan kääntäminen
Irrota verkkopistoke pistorasiasta ennen kaikkiin laitteella suoritettaviin töihin ryhtymistä. Käsikahvaa
voidaan kääntää 90° oikealle tai vasemmalle.

Sahausta koskevia työohjeita
Tarkista etukäteen, ettei työstettävässä materiaa-
lissa ole vieraita esineitä kuten nauloja, ruuveja
tms. ja poista ne.
Pidä huoli siitä, ettei tuuletusaukkoja ole peitetä.
Käynnistä laite aina ennen kuin viet sen työkap-
paleelle.
Jos sahanterä juuttuu kiinni työkappaleeseen,
sammuta laite välittömästi.
Levitä jo sahattua rakoa sopivalla työkalulla ja
irrota puukkosaha työkappaleesta.
Sovita sahanterä ja iskuluku työstettävään ma-
teriaaliin.
Jokaiseen puukkosahaan on myytävänä käyttö-
tarkoitukseen optimoituja eri pitusia sahanteriä.

Sopivan pituisilla joustavilla sahanterillä on mahdollista sahata ulkonevia työkappaleita kuten esim.
putkia välittömästi seinän tasossa.
Menettele seuraavasti:
1. Aseta sahanterä suoraan seinää vasten.
2. Taivuta puukkosahaa sivusta painaen niin, että
jalkalevy
koskettaa seinää.

3. Käynnistä laite kuvatulla tavalla ja katkaisen
työkappale tasaisesti painaen.
Upotussahaus:
VARO! TAKAISKUVAARA!
Upotussahauksia saa suorittaa ainoastaan pehmeisiin
materiaaleihin (puu tms.).
Menettele seuraavasti:
1. Aseta puukkosaha työstökappaleelle jalkale-
vyn
alareunalla.

Kytke laite pois päältä.
2. Kallista puukkosahaa eteenpäin ja upota
sahanterä työkappaleeseen.
3. Aseta puukkosaha pystysuoraan ja jatka sahausta leikkuulinjaa pitkin.
Huomautus: Käytettävän sahanterän maksimi
pituus ei saa olla yli 152 mm!

Huolto ja puhdistus
Irrota verkkopistoke pistorasiasta ennen kaikkiin
puhdistustöihin ryhtymistä.
Vaihda sahanterä, jos sen hampaat ovat tylsiä
eikä sahaustulos näin ollen ole enää moitteeton.
Pidä laite ja sen tuuletusaukot aina puhtaina.
Mikäli tuuletusaukot ovat tukossa, laite voi ylikuumentua ja / tai vaurioitua.
Puhdista laite heti töiden päätyttyä.
Laitteen sisälle ei saa päästä mitään nesteitä.
Käytä laitteen kotelon puhdistukseen liinaa. Älä
koskaan käytä puhdistukseen bensiiniä, liuottimia
äläkä muovia vahingoittavaa puhdistusainetta.
Puhdista sahanteränpidike
tarvittaessa siveltimellä tai
paineilmalla puhaltamalla.

Huolto
Anna ainoastaan pä-
tevän alan ammattihenkilön korjata
laite vain alkuperäisiä varaosia käyttäen. Tällä taataan, että laite pysyy aina tur-
vallisena käytössä.
Laitteen pistokkeen tai
liitäntäjohdon saa vaihtaa ainoastaan
laitteen valmistaja tai sen valtuuttama
huoltopiste. Tällä taataan, että laite pysyy
aina turvallisena käytössä.
Huomautus: Varaosia, joita ei ole mainittu (esim.
hiiliharjoja tai kytkimiä) voit tilata asiakaspalvelukeskuksestamme.

Takuu
Takuu koskee ainoastaan materiaali- ja valmistusvirheitä, ei kuitenkaan kuljetusvaurioita, kuluvia osia
tai herkästi vaurioituvien osien, esim. kytkinten tai
akkujen vaurioita. Tuote on tarkoitettu ainoastaan
yksityiseen, ei kaupalliseen käyttöön.
Väärä tai asiaton käyttö, väkivallan käyttö ja muiden
kuin valtuutetun huoltopisteen suorittamat korjaukset
aiheuttavat takuun raukeamisen. Tämä takuu ei rajoita kuluttajan lakisääteisiä oikeuksia.
Takuukorjaus ei pidennä takuuaikaa. Tämä koskee
myös vaihdettuja ja korjattuja osia. Mahdollisista jo
ostettaessa olemassa olevista vahingoista ja puutteista on ilmoitettava välittömästi pakkauksesta purkamisen jälkeen, kuitenkin viimeistään kaksi päivää
ostopäiväyksen jälkeen. Takuuajan jälkeen suoritetut
korjaukset ovat maksullisia.
