Bluetooth® - General
Pairing Bluetooth® device
Up to 2 devices can be paired to this unit.
When pairing for the fi rst time:

Press [SOURCE] to select the Bluetooth
®
mode.

Press button [1] or [2] to select desired
memory position for device to be paired.

Hold down [1] or [2] for more than 2 sec-
onds.

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL).
“WAITING” blinks.

Operate the Bluetooth
®
device to pair it with this
unit.
Select device title starts with “CAR BT” from the
search results screen on your Bluetooth
®
device.
Input the PIN code for connection. (The default
PIN code is “0000”).

“Paired” is displayed on this unit and then
the device is connected to this unit.

Example: The name of Bluetooth

device is “P-07C”
(Bluetooth®) indicator
lights when device is paired, and connected.
When changing from an already paired device
but not connecting:

Hold down [1] or [2] for more than 2 sec-
onds.

Turn [VOL] to select “NEW PAIR”.

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL).

device to pair it with this
unit.

¡We shall not guarantee all the functions of the
Bluetooth

device to be connected. When operations cannot be performed via this unit, operate the
system via the Bluetooth

device.
¡Be aware that the battery of a Bluetooth
®
device
drains faster if the Bluetooth
®
device is connected
to this unit.
¡Even when the Bluetooth
®
device that is connected
to this unit is located near this unit, sound may be
interrupted or noise may be generated.
¡The Bluetooth
®
device with over 5-digit PIN code is
not operated with this unit.

Turn [VOL] clockwise or counterclockwise to
select menu “PHONE ”.

Turn [VOL] to select “PINCODE”.

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL).
1st digit blinks

Enter a number for each flashing digit.
Turn [VOL] : Selects number 0 to 9.
Push [VOL] : Selects next digit to be entered.

When last digit is entered and confirmed, the
new PIN code is registered.

Connecting a paired device
When an already paired device but not connecting:
