1. You must make adjustment again when a lens, CCD,
each circuit board, others part are replaced.
First adjustment is”Zoom Adjustment”
"Color adjustment" is to go after "the CCD block adjustment"

2. Installing calibration software
1. Insert the calibration software installation diskette into
your diskette drive.
2. Open Explorer.
3. "Setup.exe" of the Compct Disk is started.
(The place of the installation : C:\DI\C-720UZ")
4.When an opening "C-720UZ_Adj.exe" is carried out, an
adjustment program is carried out automatically.

[5] Connecting the camera to the computer / Driver installation
1. An AC adapter is inserted in the camera, and a USB(mini-B) cable is inserted in the camera.
Note) A personal computer sometimes stops when a power supply is plugged in and out with a USB cable inserted in the
camera.
2. A driver is installed if it is recognized as a new hardware.

• Video output (NTSC/PAL), the settlement of the language indication (Japanese/English) are done.
Note) Once it is set up, Video output and Language indication can’t be changed.
• Video output, writing of the language are done by "LCD Panel adjustment".

Preparation:
POWER switch: ON
Adjusting method:
1.Double-click on the “C-720UZ_Adj.exe”.
3. Click the “1.ZOOM”.
2-1. Mecashutter Adjustment
Preparation:
POWER switch: ON
Adjusting method:
1. When setting the camera in place, set it to an angle so
that nothing appears in any part of the color viewer except the white section. (Do not enter any light.)
2. Click the “2.MShutter”.
4. MShutter adjustment value will appear on the screen.
2-2. CCD Defect Adjustment
Preparation:
POWER switch: ON
Adjusting method:
1. When setting the camera in place, set it to an angle so
that nothing appears in any part of the color viewer ex-
cept the white section. (Do not enter any light.)
2. Click the “3.CCD Defect”.
4. Circumference temperature of the camera is inputted.
5. CCD Defect adjustment value will appear on the screen.

Adjustment method:
1. Set the color adjustment chart to the color viewer.
(Do not enter any light.)
2. A reflection prevention cover is set on the camera.
3. Set the color adjustment chart so that it becomes center
of the screen.
4. Click the “4.CMatrix “.
6.Adjustment values will appear on the screen.
Preparation:
POWER switch: ON
Adjustment condition:
Siemens star chart (A3)
Fluorescent light illumination with no flicker
(incandescent light cannot be used.)
Illumination above the subject should be 400 lux ± 10%.
Adjustment method:
1. Set the siemens star chart 200 cm ± 0.5 cm so that it be comes center of the screen.
2. Click the “5.Focus”.
3. Focus adjustment value will appear on the screen.

5. VIDEO-OUT/LANGUAGE Write
Preparation:
POWER switch: ON
Adjusting method:
1. Double-click on the C-720UZ_Adj.exe.
2. Click the “NTSC/PAL JPN/ENG Write “.
3. An adjustment result is indicated on the screen.
4. "NTSC/PAL" and "the indication of Japanese/
English" is inputted.
NOTE
When “NTSC/PAL JPN/ENG Write “ excute ,User ’s setup value preset.

When click The “Lens-setup” ,Lens drive to standby position.
Checking PI and Lens Drive.
[USB Open]
When click The ”USB OPEN” ,USB-Connect start or reconnect.
[USB Close]
When click The ”USB CLOSE” ,USB-Connect cutting.

7.OPTION
[Lens Setdown]
Lens drive to initial position.
Checking PI and Lens Drive.
[Get Versions]
The adjustment value which was indicated Firmware’s Version
BOOT area , USER area , CISC area ,
[Adjustment Data Save]
The adjustment value which was written in Flash Rom is kept in the PC.
Folder: C:\DI\C-720UZ\Data Save
File Name: “serial No.”.csv
When it is written in Flash Rom, it is written with "Adjustment Data COPY".
[Adjustment Data Copy]
The adjustment value that it was kept in the PC is written in Flash Rom.
Folder: C:\DI\C-720UZ\Data Save
File Name: “serial No.”.csv
Data are opened.
When only MC Board is exchanged,Zoom adjustment, Focus adjustment, CCD defect adjustment, color adjustment can
be omitted by this. The rest of
adjustment becomes indispensable after the MC Board exchange.)
Mecashutter adjustment comes to do it separately. (Because it depends on MC Board,
[Camera Body No. Write]
When MC Board is exchanged,must write Camera Body number in Flash Rom.
1.Input the “serial No.” in blank area.
