SUBJECT: Special Note For Assembling And Disassembling Of
C-40ZOOM / D-40ZOOM
Product name: C-40Zoom / D-40Zoom
Problem: The CA-2 PCB could be damaged during disassembling and/or assembling of the camera.
If the CA-2 is damaged, the camera does not operate anymore. (LED blinks and the lens
does not operate).
Please find below the most critical points.
Reason: The CA-2 board is a multi layer PCB, which can easily be damaged by bending, pressing and
twisting of it.
Point 1: The CA-2 may be damaged, if it will be pressed too strongly when assembling it.
Countermeasure: Open the hook beforehand and assemble the CA-2.
Point 2: The CA-2 may be damaged, if the it will be pressed too strongly when the inlay is assembled to
cabinet front.
Countermeasure: Press only at the mentioned points when assembling it.
Press only at these points.
DO NOT PRESS CA-2 PCB !

Point 3: The CA-2 may be damaged by the pressure and distortion of the PCB when putting the screws
on the CA-2 or PW-1.
Countermeasure: Do not make pressure and distortion to the PCB, when putting the screws on them.
Do not press strongly on the PW-1,
if CA-2 is already assembled.
