Be certain this appliance is
properly installed and grounded by an authorized technician. To guarantee the electrical safety of this appliance, continuity must exist between the appliance and an effective grounding system. It is imperative that this basic safety requirement be met. If there is any doubt, have the electrical system checked by a qualified technician. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Never clean the machine near or with a water or high pressure hose.
Before servicing, disconnect the
power supply by either removing the fuse, unplugging the unit or manually "tripping" the circuit breaker.
The following points should be observed to avoid damage to the machine and the loads being cleaned.
Use only resins which are tested by
Miele. If in doubt contact the Miele Applications Specialist.
The resins are made for one time
use only. Dispose of them accordingly.
Please follow the advice on
installation in this manual and the separate Installation Instructions.
To avoid any corrosion damage
ensure that solutions or steam containing hydrochloric acid do not come into contact with the steel outer casing of the machine.
Using accessories
Only specific equipment made by
Miele should be connected to this machine. Consult Miele on the type and application of such equipment.
Disposal of an old appliance
Cut off the cable directly behind
the appliance and at the plug to prevent misuse. For environmental and safety reasons ensure the machine is completely emptied of any residue, water and resins. (Observe safety regulations and wear safety goggles and gloves). Make the door lock inoperative, so that children cannot accidentally shut themselves in. Make appropriate arrangements for the safe disposal of the machine.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damages caused by not observing the Important Safety Instructions in this manual.

Description of the machine
The Aqua Purificator G 7895 is operated using the E 318 water demineralization cartridge:
The cartridge is empty when delivered and must be filled with 20 l of one-time use resins (see "Filling the Cartridge E 318 with one-time resins E 315").
When the cartridge is empty refill it with new one-time resins.
The resins are made for one time use only. Dispose them accordingly.
To ease the emptying and refilling of the water demineralization cartridge E 318, we recommend as additional equipment to the cartridge E 318, the "Original Miele resin replace set E 316" which includes:
30 l Plastic keg with special lid and
funnel 2 bags one-time use resins E 315, 10
l each, with filter bag for the used resins
You can order 20 l of additional one-time resins with the part number E 315.

Replace the cartridge
^
Place the connected cartridge in the rear of the machine. The front area can be used for an additional cartridge.
^
Open the cold water valve. The machine is ready for use.
Conductance display
The conductance display shows the conductance of the demineralized water, measured in ZS/cm (micro siemens per centimeter) and is a quality control for the demineralized water.
If the water demineralization is below the minimum value, the cartridge needs to be refilled. A manual is supplied with the "Original Miele resins replace set E 316".
Uninstall the cartridge E 318
Turn off the water valves.
^
If available, open the water valve for
^
manual DI water extraction. Open the priming valve the cartridge.
^
Dry the water exiting from the cartridge..
Unscrew the hoses.
^
Turn the cartridge over to let the
^
residual water run out.
11
Conductance measure module
The conductance measure module has the same function as the built-in conductance measure module in the Aqua Purificator G 7895. The water conductance is measured and a quality control of the demineralized water enabled.
^ The connection of the conductance
measure module is always after the water demineralization cartridge:
a water valve b non-return valve with pipe venting c water demineralized cartridge d conductance measure module f machine.
12
^ Install the module at a wall or in a
cabinet. Do not install the module
on the floor or underneath water valves.
^
Electrical connection e: Plug the cord into an outlet.
Please also read the separate Installation Instructions supplied with this machine.

^
This is needed only to power the meter.
Pease contact Miele Technical
^
Service at the phone numbers located on the back cover of this manual is there are any questions.
^ To increase security it is
recommended to install a protective switch (30 mA) to the machine.
^ When replacing the power supply
line use an original Miele spare part or a respective line with conductor
sleeves.
