ROTATION SPEEDS
With previous hybrid SPECT/CT systems, a 12-14 second CT rotation could often lead to motion artifacts due to patient breathing or other movement. Thanks to a CT gantry that is independent of the SPECT gantry, the Optima NM/CT 640 can complete a CT rotation in as fast as one second, it can capture many images in a series
of brief exposures, allowing for the reduction of motion artifacts. This contributes to greater image clarity and a less taxing patient experience.
