START HERE TO MAKE A BAG FROM A FOODSAVER® ROLL:

MEASURE AND CUT ROLL

Allow enough room to hold item

while leaving an extra 3 inches at the top. Cut roll straight across.

PLACE BAG ON

HEAT SEAL STRIP

Open the appliance lid and place an open end of your bag in the center of the removable drip tray. This ensures perfect placement over the heat seal strip.

CLOSE AND LOCK THE LID

Close the lid, and turn the latch to “Operate”. Push the lever firmly all the way down to

the “Operate” text.

SEAL END OF ROLL

TO CREATE A BAG

Press “Seal”. A red light will turn on, indicating the appliance is sealing. When the red indicator light turns off, sealing is complete. Move on to Step 5 to vacuum

seal your items!

FILL VACUUM

SEALING BAG

Do not overfill bags. Leave 3 inches between contents and the opening of the bag.

PLACE BAG IN VACUUM CHANNEL

Open the appliance lid and place the open end of your bag in the center of the removable drip tray. This ensures perfect placement in the vacuum channel.

Note: Make sure the opening of the bag is clean and straight. A wrinkle or moisture can impact the seal.

CLOSE AND LOCK THE LID

Close the lid, and turn the latch to “Operate”. Push the lever firmly all the way down to

the “Operate” text.

VACUUM SEAL YOUR ITEMS

Press “Vac/Seal”. A green light will turn on, indicating the appliance is vacuuming. Next, a red light will turn on, indicating the appliance is sealing. When the red indicator light turns off, vacuum sealing is complete. Turn the latch to “Open” to remove your bag.

Let appliance cool for 20 seconds after each use. Store your appliance with the latch in the open position.

TIPS FOR SEALING MOIST AND LIQUID ITEMS: Pre-freeze until solid. Moisture or food material (such as juices, grease or crumbs) can prevent the bag from sealing properly. Wipe the top of your bag and then seal.
