The D-Link DU-520 internal adapter card is a 5 port USB 2.0 PCI adapter. Each USB port can
transfer data up to 480 Mbps. At 40 times faster than the previous USB 1.1 specification, USB 2.0

rovides the speed and bandwidth for all of your USB 2.0 needs. And because it is backwards compliant

with USB 1.1, you can use all of your USB devices as well as new USB 2.0 products.

The DU-520 provides five type 'A' downstream ports for connecting USB peripherals and USB hubs.
Configured directly by the operating system, the DU-520 operates in accordance with EHCI

pecification and compliant with PCI version 2.2. Attach Any USB Devices to Your PC

s a standard USB host controller, it directly interfaces between the USB bus and the operating system.
The DU-520 operates as the root USB hub to provide five downstream interfaces. It will accept USB
data from any attached peripherals, hubs, or other High-Speed devices in compliance with USB
Specification version 2.0. Supporting both low-speed 1.5Mb/s devices, full-speed 12 Mb/s devices and
high-speed 480Mb/s. each port of the DU-520 creates a bridge between the attached USB peripheral or
USB hub and the host computer.
