Model: DVD-1500, DVD-1000

Subject: Countermeasure for malfunctioning DVD Discs.

Symptom: Regarding the subject models, a problem occurs where the unit is

incapable of playing the discs due to improper data (and other signals) recorded
on the disc.

Solution:

located on the MAIN P.W.B. ASS’Y has been upgraded.
For the models DVD-1000, please replace IC102 EEPROM (W27E040-12)
located on the MAIN P.W.B. ASS’Y.

For the DVD-1500, the software of IC104, EEPROM (W27E040-12)
