Subject: Countermeasure for trigger out malfunction

Symptom: If you switch TRIGGER OUT for MAIN Zone to ON. After changing

the Surround-Mode (for example) from Dolby Digital to DOLBY Headphone this
will change the trigger out signal to be turned off.
Intention: The customer in the late evening wants to switch from speakers to
headphone while viewing the movie. Trigger has been used for the projection
screen. As soon as the customer plugs the headphones in the screen is goes up.

Solution:

Please install the Exclusive Writer Software to a PC and rewrite your customer's
unit upon claim. (Refer to the supplied rewriting procedures.)

• The Installation Software of the Exclusive Writer Software to be installed to the
PC. (The Software to be supplied) FWCV_4806CI_V0017_SETUP.exe.
The Exclusive Writer Software for the model AVR-4806CI to be installed by
means of the Installation Software.

• The Update Procedures and the Confirmation of the Version after the update:
For the update procedures, please refer to the
00cFWCV0017_manual_AVR4806CI.pdf.

• To confirm the Version after the update, please refer to the
AVR4806CI_0017_VERS_CHECK.

The malfunction occurs due to a bug in the MICON software.
