2. Parts change
Some parts were changed in accordance with specifications for MultiPASS F80/F60 version.
* SCNT board, PCNT board and Operation panel unit were changed.
* Rear cover, Middle cover and Main freame ass’y were changed.

It is important to make sure that the ROM used in the product is of the following v ersion or later; ROMs

4.Disassembly procedure change of cover ass’y.
Disassembly 5. Middle cover ass’y
(1) Perform Disassembly 3 to remove the flatbet ass’y.
(2) Remove the 2 screws (a), and detach the 2 torsion bars.
(3) Remove the 2 cables (b).
(4) Remove the screw (c), and detach the grounding wire.
(5) Remove the 4 screws (d), and detach the middle cover ass’y.

Caution when replacing middle cover ass’y
It would be hazardous to leave the torsion bar mounted to the middle cover assembly, as
the torsion bar is sharp enough to injure your eye, face or hand. Be sure to remove the
torsion bar whenever you are disassembling the middle cover assembly to ensure safety.
Moreover, when you have removed the torsion bar, be sure to place it so that its tips are
at bottom as shown in Figure 3-11A.
