12-Volt Tire and
Raft Inflator

Please read and save these instructions. Read carefully before attempting to assemble, install, operate or maintain the product described.

Description

The RP3150 12-volt inflator has a high
pressure air hose for emergency
roadside tire inflation and to inflate
bicycle tires, soccer balls, and other
sports equipment. It also has a high
volume air outlet for inflating air
mattresses, rafts, and other low
pressure inflatables. The inflator
includes an auto-shut-off gauge that
shuts the unit off at the desired
pressure, a work light, and a wire stand
for raising the light off the ground. A
15-amp fuse is located inside the 12­volt DC plug.

C. Cualquier falla que resulte de un accidente, abuso, negligencia o incumplimiento de las instrucciones de funcionamiento y uso

indicadas en el (los) manual(es) que se adjunta(n) al producto. Dichos accidentes, abusos por parte del comprador, o falta de operar el
producto siguiendo las instrucciones del manual de instrucciones suministrado también debe incluir la desconexión o modificación de

los instrumentos de seguridad. Si dichos instrumentos de seguridad son desconectados, la garantía quedaría cancelada.
D. Los ajustes normales explicados en el(los) manual(es) suministrado(s) con el producto.
E. Artículos o servicios normalmente requeridos para el mantenimiento del producto, tales como: anillos en O, resortes, amortiguadores,

defensas, hojas de impulsor, fusibles, baterías

, empaques, almohadillas o sellos, boquillas de fluído, agujas, boquillas para rociar arena,
lubricantes, mangueras de material, elementos filtrantes, álabes de motores, abrasivos, hojillas, discos para cortar, cinceles, retenes
para cinceles, cortadores, collarines, mandriles, mordazas para remachadoras, brocas para desarmadores, almohadillas para lijar,
soportes de almohadillas, mecanismo de impacto o cualquier otro artículo desgastable que no se haya enumerado específicamente.
Estos artículos sólo estarán cubiertos bajo esta garantía por noventa (90) días a partir de la fecha de compra original. Los artículos
subrayados sólo están garantizados por defectos de material o fabricación.

7. RESPONSABILIDADES DEL GARANTE BAJO ESTA GARANTIA: Reparar o reemplazar, como lo decida el Garante, los productos o
componentes que estén defectuosos, se hayan dañado o hayan dejado de funcionar adecuadamente, durante el período de validez de la
garantía

8. RESPONSABILIDADES DEL COMPRADOR BAJO ESTA GARANTIA:
A. Suministrar prueba fechada de compra y la historia de mantenimiento del producto.
B. Entregar o enviar el producto o componente Campbell Hausfeld al Centro de Servicio autorizado Campbell Hausfeld más cercano. Los

gastos de flete, de haberlos, deben ser pagados por el comprador.

9. CUANDO EFECTUARA EL GARANTE LA REPARACION O REEMPLAZO CUBIERTO BAJO ESTA GARANTIA: La reparación o reemplazo

Funcionamiento

Neumáticos

• Quite la tapa del vástago de la válvula.

• Coloque el adaptador universal (vea

la Figura 2) desde el inflador hasta el
vástago de la válvula con la palanca
hacia arriba. Asegúrese de presionar
hacia abajo completamente el
adaptador universal sobre las roscas
del vástago de la válvula. Cuando el
adaptador universal esté
firmemente en su lugar, presione la

• Coloque el extremo de la manguera en
la abertura del artículo inflable
utilizando la boquilla adecuada.

• Enchufe el cable de corriente en la
salida de corriente.

• Encienda el inflador.

• Una vez que el objeto que está
llenando esté firme, apague el
inflador.

El

manó­metro de corte automático no apagará
el inflador cuando se esté usando la
salida de alto volumen. El manómetro y
el corte automático sólo están
conectados a la manguera de aire de
alta presión.

REEMPLAZO DEL FUSIBLE

NUNCA utilice un fusible de más de 15
A. para reemplazar el fusible de esta
unidad.

1. Desenrosque el extremo del enchufe

hacia la izquierda para sacar el fusible.

2. Si el fusible está quemado, reemplácelo

con un fusible nuevo de 15 amperes.
Siempre reemplace un fusible
quemado con un fusible del mismo
tamaño.

3. Vuelva a armar el enchufe. No apriete

en exceso.

Funcionamiento

• Ajuste el manómetro de corte
automático girando el anillo que se
encuentra en el mismo hasta que el
borde inferior del puntero se
encuentre justo encima de la presión
deseada (vea la Figura 3).

Es posible

que sea
necesario ajustar el puntero entre 0,14
bar y 0,21 bar más que la presión
deseada para evitar que la unidad se
apague prematuramente.

• Encienda el inflador y espere hasta

que éste se apague.

• Verifique que la presión del

neumático sea la correcta.

• Para agregar más presión de aire,

ajuste el apagado a una presión
mayor y apague la energía con el
interruptor y luego vuelva a
encender el inflador.

Artículos inflables

• Empuje la manguera de plástico

flexible en la salida de aire de alto
volumen ubicada a un costado del
inflador.

Always put the car

in park; set the
emergency brake; and chock the
wheels before using the inflator or
property damage and/or personal
injury could occur.

Always use a sep-

arate pressure
gauge to check the actual pressure in
tires and in low pressure inflatable
objects.

Inflator must cool

for 20 minutes
after 20 minutes of continuous oper­ation. The Inflator is not designed to
operate continuously for more than 20
minutes.

Do not use

inflator on high
pressure tires used on large trucks,
trailers or tractors. The inflator is not
designed to operate for the length of
time necessary to inflate these tires.

Make sure the

universal adapter
touches the core or tire valve stem.

Operation

Tires

• Remove valve stem cap.

• Attach the universal adapter (see

Figure 2) from the inflator to the valve
stem with the lever in the up position.
Be sure to press universal adapter
down over valve stem threads
completely. When universal adapter is
firmly in place, press locking lever
down to lock onto valve stem.

• Plug power cord into power outlet.

For use with 12-volt

DC power outlets
rated 15 amps or higher. Do not use with
older 8 amp cigarette lighter receptacles.

• Set automatic shut-off gauge by
turning ring on gauge until bottom
edge of pointer is just above the
desired pressure (see Figure 3).

It may be necessary

to set pointer 2-3
psi higher than desired pressure to
prevent unit from turning off
prematurely.

• Turn on inflator and wait until

inflator shuts off.

• Check that the tire pressure is

correct.

• To add additional air pressure, set

shut-off at higher pressure and turn
power switch off and then back on
to restart inflator.

Inflatables

• Push flexible plastic hose onto high

volume air outlet located on side of
inflator.

• Place end of hose into opening of

inflatable using the appropriate
nozzle.

• Plug power cord into power outlet.

• Turn on inflator.

• Once object being filled is firm, turn
off inflator.

The automatic shut-

off gauge will not
shut-off when the high volume output
is used. The gauge and automatic shut­off are only connected to the high
pressure air hose.

FUSE REPLACEMENT
NEVER replace a blown fuse with a

fuse having a higher rating.

1) Unscrew end of plug counter-

clockwise to remove fuse.

2) If fuse is blown, replace with a new

15-amp fuse. Always replace a blown
fuse with the same size fuse.

3) Reassemble plug. Do not over-

tighten.
