How to Connect the Interface Connector

CD Press the tab and remove the
battery compartment cover.

CD Insert four dry cell batteries of size
"AA." Make sure illustrated the
batteries are set as illustrated in
the
ibattery co mpart ment.
CD Replace the battery compartment
cover.

Insert the interface connector as
shown in the figure.
Don't insert and disconnect when
power switch is on.
NOTE:
The interface cable should be of a
shield type.

NOTE
1: When the batteries become weak, the "LOW BATTERY" indication will
light up. When this happenes, replace all four batteries with new ones.
2: Turn off the power switch when the unit is not being used. Ifthe unit is not
to be used for a long time, or if the AC adaptor is to be used for a long time,
remove the batteries to avoid the fluid leakage.
(Be aware that even commercially available batteries which are
guaranteed may sometimes leak.)
.AC Power Adaptor
Connect the AC adaptor to the DC6V
jack, and then plug the adaptor cord
into a wall outlet.
NOTE
1: Be sure to use the AC adaptor of
DC6V.
2: The batteries will be automatically
disconnected from the power
supply circuit when the AC
adaptor is connected.
3: If the unit is not used for a long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from both
the wall outlet and this unit's jack.
4: Don't connect and disconnect the AC adaptor when the disk is inserted in
the unit.
